An inexplicable montum surged in the strong man, compelling people to cast their gaze upon him. What was even more startling was the palpitation that hit them.
It was as if... having encountered a famished tiger in the wild.
"Thump, thump, thump..."
Each person in the crowd felt their heart pounding in that instant, but their anticipation concealed it the next.
"Bro, can you get us out of here, please?"
"Brother, please, get us out of here, there are too many zombies outside, and they don’t care at all. We don’t even have a gun, we can’t fight them off, and we’re too scared to go for the food, what we have is almost gone, we’re desperate!"
"We can’t survive here, please get us out, thank you!"
"Handso, take with you, I offer myself to you."
In the blink of an eye, the crowd erupted. Despair quickly surfaced on the faces of those in front. Everyone’s mouth voiced pleas and they kept begging the man in front through various ans.
"Everyone get up. He’s mine, my student. I should be the one to greet him!"
Suddenly, excited voices erupted from the back. The voices were so intensely emotional that everyone heard what Zhang Nana said clearly. They couldn’t help but look back to see Teacher Nana jumping up and down in excitent, wildly waving her arms, trying to make herself more noticeable.
Was this new beacon of hope, Teacher Nana’s student?
With that information flashing in their minds, the crowd froze and instinctively eased away a bit, giving Zhang Nana an opening. She took the chance to force her way through the crowd, and instantly recognized the familiar face in front of her.
The familiarity was because of a vivid impression. Li Ming was the first student she’d ever had who had flirted with her.
In the past, she found this absurd, but seeing the sa student who once sat in her class, she was overwhelming with emotion, choking back tears.
"Li Ming, do you rember ? I’m your college English teacher Zhang Nana."
At that mont, a thousand words raced through Zhang Nana’s mind. But considering they hadn’t seen each other in so long, Zhang Nana pressed down her excitent and nervously opened her mouth to ask, her beautiful eyes staring intently at him.

......
Hearing, sight, scent, taste, and touch are the five human senses. Our responses to the external world largely co from these senses.
But for soone with supernatural abilities, especially sobody like Li Ming, whose powers were becoming more potent under martial arts training, these senses were greatly heightened, particularly when focusing on sothing specific.
Like now. Just during the walk up the stairs, even without seeing anyone, Li Ming could already hear and sense the crowd gathered at the top.
There was no need for ntal power.
The feeling beca even clearer when he used his ntal power. But what raised his eyebrows was the sight of his English teacher, Zhang Nana, being squeezed out of the crowd.
"Is it because of my arrival?"
Li Ming pondered in his heart, but then shook his head. He felt Zhang Nana hadn’t recognized him, likely because it was hard to identify individuals from the car upstairs.
So, was it anxiety about her inability to seize this chance for survival?
And how would she react when she realized that her only hope for survival was a forr student of hers?
Lost in thought, Li Ming confidently strode up the stairs. Before long, he ascended to the top, where a crowd of ordinary survivors had cramd themselves around the stairway exit.
"Bro, can you get us out of here, please?"
"Brother, I beg you, get us out of here. There are too many zombies outside, and they’re relentlessly aggressive. We don’t even have a gun to fight back. We’re too scared to fetch any food, and our provisions are almost gone. We’re desperate!"
"......"
The mont they erged, voices sprang forth from the people huddled around the staircase entrance, all desperately and urgently pouring out their pleas to the man standing before them.
Li Ming frowned slightly, automatically discarding this information. His gaze shifted to the spot where Teacher Zhang Nana was, and as he looked in her direction, another voice rang out from the crowd.
"Everyone, stand back. He’s mine, my student. It’s my place to welco him!"
The excited voice of Teacher Zhang Nana ca from ahead. Hearing her voice, the crowd started to disperse. Seizing the opportunity, she made her way inside. Despite her frail form, she maneuvered swiftly and suddenly appeared before his eyes.
"Li Ming, do you rember ? I’m your college English teacher, Zhang Nana."
Her eyes held a mix of bewildernt, anxiety, and anticipation. Li Ming t her gaze and smiled, "Of course, I rember you, Teacher Zhang Nana. It’s been a while."
"It’s been a while, indeed."
Upon hearing Li Ming’s voice, tears welled up in Zhang Nana’s eyes. She cleared them hastily and looked at him, her gaze fixed, "Li Ming, can.... can you take with you?"
"Does Teacher Zhang want to co with ?"
Li Ming raised an eyebrow, a slight smile playing at his lips, "To be honest, Teacher Zhang, I’m currently leading so won back to my hotown. If you co with us, you’ll have to follow ho. Are you okay with that?"
Li Ming chuckled, noting Zhang Nana preparing to respond. He raised a hand to stop her, "Teacher Zhang, don’t rush to answer. I have so questions that I hope the people in this shelter can help with. Shall we talk about it?"
"Sure, sure, we’ll do what you say."
Zhang Nana quickly nodded, then obediently took a step forward to the closest spot inside the shelter.
Li Ming looked at Zhang Nana and smiled, then turned to the other dumbfounded onlookers, "It’s already noon. You guys go ahead and eat your lunch. As for the rest, we can discuss after I have a chat with Teacher Zhang Nana."
Having said this, Li Ming led Teacher Zhang Nana away amid the enthusiastic crowd, letting them continue their discussions on the upper levels. So individuals attempted to follow but were halted by him. In the end, only Li Ming and Teacher Zhang Nana descended from the second floor.
Zhang Nana stuck close to Li Ming as they descended from upstairs, as if she wanted to stick to him. She only stopped when they arrived outside the cafeteria, nearly bumping into him.
"Why do the people at the shelter always stay here? Hasn’t anyone tried collecting food?"
Li Ming turned around with a smile and asked softly.
"There were people who tried, but they all died. At first, so male students tried, but couldn’t resist the zombies. If it wasn’t for a martial arts master who joined us and helped gather food, we might not have lasted till now."
Zhang Nana quickly nodded and sighed regretfully.
"Oh? A martial arts master? Hasn’t anyone suddenly gained impressive powers and started acting overbearing?"
Li Ming asked suppressively, trying to confirm if there were any super-humans here.
"Yes, that martial arts master is called Master Li Dingguo. Nobody else has displayed any exceptional powers. You’re talking about super-humans, aren’t you? Master Li Dingguo has ntioned that before. But sadly, there are none among us."
Zhang Nana nodded seriously, the movent of her fair neck, that familiar voice, bringing Li Ming back to their English lessons in college.
Li Ming couldn’t resist stealing peeks at Zhang Nana’s curves — her chest, thighs, and well-guarded areas. These were places he’d wanted to explore back in college.
’Even now, I still want to see those parts. I’m such a consistent guy!’
