Hosting a celebration banquet had been decided even before the zombie outbreak. Naturally, everything was prepared for today. Her gown was personally chosen by Li Ming. Its close fit flattered her slender, delicate fra.
"I’ve brought so at and so special ingredients. Each of you will get a portion. Once this celebration banquet is over, our developnt here will be on track. Stability and peace are the best things for us."
Li Ming smiled as he spoke. He had brought over twenty kilograms of mutant beast at for this occasion. After the banquet, he would distribute an equal portion to everyone. The at could save life in a critical ti.
Hearing what Li Ming said, smiles appeared on everyone’s faces. They seed to be glad about this arrangent.
A celebration banquet is an important morale booster. Winning everyone’s hearts before leaving was necessary, hence, Li Ming was specially here to host this banquet.
Once he arrived at the mansion, he personally summoned all the residents and notified them of the banquet. Everyone was brimming with smiles.
Since every mansion’s land was sown with various seeds, the spacious asphalt road was the perfect place to hold the banquet. The tables and chairs were moved there, perfectly fitting.
Li Ming took out many jars of pickles and dried vegetables from inside the camper. They were brought from the base city, along with many others. He stored the mutant beast at in his mansion, ready to distribute it after the banquet was over.
After he took out these things, Li Ming let them prepare, waiting with a grin.
"Long ti no see. Did you miss ?"
Li Ming found the busy Liu Li, and snuggled up to her with a grin. He whispered into her ear.
"Yes, I’ve thought about you every day. I’ve been waiting for you."
Liu Li cast him a sultry look and was then led away by Li Ming to an isolated area for a heated exchange.
"Has anything happened in the mansion area since I left?"
"Only a few people occasionally worry whether you won’t want this place anymore, otherwise, nothing much."
"Nothing major going on?"
"So wanted to leave and go to the base city, but after knowing the rules there, they sneaked back. So beca lazy, but Zhou Cheng harshly disciplined them. Hmm..."
"So, there are still so issues on the ntal front...feeling hot?"
"Feeling hot..."
"..."
Forty minutes later, Liu Li returned to the couch to rest. Even though she tried to maintain a virtuous deanour, she couldn’t hide her allure and had no energy to help with the banquet arrangents.
Her eyes shifted, watching how the seven won including Yang Ruo had also withdrawn from assisting. She felt sentintal about how things were getting done. They rested for a month feeling exhausted.
Superhumans are indeed strong.
About two hours later, Yang Ruo and the other ladies finally erged, and the banquet arrangents were complete. The dishes were slowly brought to the table, the delicious aroma filling the air.
"Everyone, let’s have a toast."
Under the sun, Zhang Yuan’s bright smile was radiant. Dressed in a fine gown, she had the aura of a wealthy young lady from high society. Her jovial laughter ignited the atmosphere of the banquet. Everyone laughed as they raised their glasses for a toast and then freely enjoyed the delicious food in the midst of jovial conversation.
anwhile, standing by the Huajiang river, Li Ming was once again checking the river’s depth.
"At this rate, if it doesn’t rain in the next two months, the Huajiang river will dry up."
Zhou Cheng, standing by his side, looked at Li Ming staring at the river water and said worriedly.
Looking up at the sky, which was still blazing, Li Ming sighed with frustration.
"We should store more water in the coming days. I hope the base city has also silently begun doing this. I wonder how long this blazing hot weather will last."
Li Ming once again looked at the wheat and vegetables in the field. "I hope these plants can survive this drought and we can harvest them all in the end."
"I don’t know how long I’ll be away this ti, but no matter what, I will not abandon this place. While I’m away, I’ll be relying on you."
Li Ming then turned to Zhou Cheng and Chen Qiang again, smiling as he spoke. The two nodded in agreent. They had a deeper understanding of the base city now and weren’t holding any illusions about the Post-apocalyptic world. They knew that Li Ming’s place was probably the best spot.
After a few brief exchanges, Li Ming patted their shoulders, advising them to return and eat. He then made a solo round trip around the Huajiang river to inspect for mutant creatures, returning to the banquet only after confirming that there were none.
With her champagne glass in hand, Zhang Yuan emanated an enticing allure. They celebrated with the crowd all through the afternoon. After the banquet, each person was given a chunk of mutant beast at, with instructions on its uses and the need to store it well.
Only then, much to the gratitude of the crowd, did Li Ming set off in his vehicle once again.
After Li Ming’s departure, the residents of Linjiang Villa returned, chuckling as they cleared up the leftover dishes. The hundred acres of land around them had been ploughed evenly. They all knew that in due ti, a good amount of grain would grow on this land.

......
......
Zhang Yuan, who was dressed up for the banquet, was irresistible. As soon as Li Ming got in the car, he took her to bed. As for driving the camper, he resorted to using psychic power.
Nonetheless, using psychic power to drive wasn’t problematic, so he dutifully drove.
He kept driving until evening, when he finally stopped. The won started to prepare dinner. Li Ming instructed them to feed Zhang Yuan once the al was ready, and brought the voluptuous Xu Xiu to the driver’s seat.
"Honey, are we not stopping tonight either?"
Xu Xiu, cradled in Li Ming’s arms, looked at the window through which Li Ming was driving and asked him with a smile.
Only Li Ming and Zhang Yuan got out of the motorho during the celebration, with the others staying in the motorho to acclimatise to their new living conditions.
"We’ll stop for the night. Let’s see if we can find a good place to park," Li Ming said while shaking his head, asking Xu Xiu to study the map. According to the map, they would reach a small town after traveling ten more kiloters.
"Let’s stop outside the town for now."
Li Ming thought for a mont before pointing to a spot outside the town.
During the apocalypse, the unknown small town might be less safe than the outskirts.
Xu Xiu nodded to express her understanding. Now, she leaned on Li Ming and spoke intimately with him. After a while, she expressed her worry, "Honey, is it okay for you to drive with one hand?"
"Don’t worry, my driving skills are very stable."
"Oh~"
The sturdy body of the motorho confined the inside sounds, and with the special glass and curtains drawn, not a trace of the interior light could be perceived outside.
They traveled about five kiloters before the vehicle stopped at the side of the road. Only then did Li Ming take Xu Xiu back to have dinner.
The sun slowly set, plunging the world into darkness. The only thing visible was a huge motorho, resting quietly along the road, absolutely still.
The living room inside the motorho was small, adorned with maps of the globe, the country, and various cities.
A table was centered in the living room, where the family sat closely around for dinner.
"I’m going to take so food to Zhang Yuan."
Liu Minying picked up so food, left a remark, and turned around to feed Zhang Yuan.
"Honey, I’ve studied the route back to Yanyang. If we consider alternatives, there are six routes available; all of these routes connect with one another. If one doesn’t work, we can adjust by using the others."
In the tiny space, Xu Xiu turned to Li Ming during the al. This was sothing she had discovered that morning.
Since they were returning ho, it was natural to study the map and understand the routes. So, Li Ming had prepared many maps for them to research in their spare ti, looking out for undiscovered paths.
"Oh, tell about them after dinner," Li Ming raised his eyebrows and smiled, impressed with Xu Xiu’s diligence.
"We drove all afternoon today. But honestly, if everything goes well, even without taking the highway, if we drive for another day tomorrow and the next morning, we’ll arrive by afternoon the day after tomorrow. It’s not too troubleso."
"Grandma, Yinyin wants so veggies."
"Sister Chen Li, can you teach how to put on makeup tomorrow?"
"You’re an eighteen-year-old girl. Why are you thinking about makeup? Besides, your husband can’t wait to devour you every day. If you put on makeup, wouldn’t that an he’ll also have to eat your makeup?"
"Sister Zhao i, how do you feel about practicing the Ba Duan Jin exercise..."
"......"
The dinner ended in the midst of this chatter, with the won helping to clean up the table. But as soon as they finished clearing up, Li Ming took Xu Xiu and Yunyun to study the map.
The remaining dishes were washed by Zhao i, Chen Li, and Aunt Liu. Liu Minying ca out after feeding Zhang Yuan and, seeing no issues, mopped the house. She then took a bath and went to her room to study the map.
"These six paths do seem feasible."
After studying the map for three hours, Li Ming nodded in approval, smiling.
Xu Xiu was so tired that she could barely move. Li Ming sent them to their respective beds, one by one. Discovering that all was quiet around, he happily turned off the light and held Zhang Yuan as they slept.
......
......
......
In the cramped space of the motorho, apart from so reliance on the "Internal Strength Secret Scripture" and "Ba Duan Jin", other skills were impossible to practice. Thankfully, the mutant beast at restored their strength, thus accelerating the rate of internal strength cultivation. This wasn’t exactly a waste of ti.
The next morning, everyone had breakfast and practiced so light exercises around the motorho under the morning sun. They had also done their daily Ba Duan Jin exercise and even managed to throw out the trash.
Under the shining sun, the won’s skin was as tender as sponge cake. Their active movents in the quiet morning exuded a warm vitality.
After finishing their morning exercise, they returned to the motorho, where Li Ming continued to drive onwards.
Luckily, nothing happened from morning until afternoon, and Li Ming easily resolved the occasional minor hiccups.
That night, the motorho parked at the edge of Central Province for rest. This was the place where Li Ming grew up.
