Apocalyptic Beastworld: A Farming Space Dimension to Another World Chapter 83: Xie Ziyuan’s Icreasing Suspicion
Xie Ziyuan was still engrossed in his thoughts, his mind full of questions as he tried to piece all the information together.
When Su Yining ssaged him, he had only just finished finding the book he needed from his collections. A book that records runes and arrays.
His heartbeat quickened as he thought of many possibilities. Is she actually not a ghost at all and instead, soone who was living in another world?
Another mortal realm? Her concern, which related to her brother, sounded like just another normal mortal affairs. However, such a concern also existed in the current apocalyptic era, so it wasn’t conclusive evidence.
On the other hand, the ntion of a bus stop was solid evidence.
He wanted to test her, however, rembering that there seed to be a restriction where they could only send three ssages per day, he held back. He found out about this restriction after countless observations.
Once she sent three ssages, she wouldn’t send another fourth.
He waited for her to reappear, getting sowhat restless. Until the night descended, where she was usually the most active, she hadn’t co at all.
"Why does Master Xie look angry?" A beastman who had just passed by him whispered to his companion.
He had thought about greeting Xie Ziyuan just now, but looking at that dark face and the pressure he emitted, the beastman chickened out.
"It’s not our business. Let’s go and fetch the utensils from the kitchen." His companion whispered, the tone tinged with worry.
At this mont, Su Yining had lost track of ti playing with the kitten. This little black cat had a peculiar color. After she examined it more closely, she found that there were a few dark bluish streaks on its black fur.
Like the painting of so lightning.
All of a sudden, she noticed its owing beca more loud and frequent, following her everywhere.
"Are you hungry?" Su Yining was a little stumped, realizing she didn’t have any suitable food for cats in her kitchen. Although she wasn’t a vegan, she only heated the simple mushroom soup she cooked before she went to work this morning.
She could only think of getting sothing from the supermarket nearby. Patting its disobedient claws, she told it, "Wait here."
With that, she got up and took her phone and purse, heading toward the door. Originally, she thought it would have been a hassle to make the kitten stay inside her ho after seeing how clingy it was.
However, the mont she headed out, it stood on a table, licking its paws and didn’t even glance at her.
She closed the door and went to go get so cat food for the little one. At this mont, she was still thinking positively. Maybe the little cat was too hungry before; that’s why it ssed up that uncle’s stall.
It made the little kitten sound so pitiful. As such, she brought a lot of food for it, both wet and dry food.
After she went back, she served both kinds of food to it in two small bowls. Then, she went to eat her mushroom soup. She thought they would finish their food at the sa ti, but the kitten made her speechless.
It appeared after a few minutes, wanting to eat from her bowl. She could only get another portion of cat food, only then did the little one calm down.
"How can you eat so much?" Su Yining looked at its tiny stomach and shook her head, a little worried she might have given it too much food. However, soon, she found out that this little one’s stomach was akin to an endless space.
It could swallow just anything.
Before she could finish her mushroom soup, it had co to her again, owing loudly and rubbing against her. It was about to take a sip of her soup again, but she hurriedly picked it up.
She put it down in another room, not letting it have any more food. The food it had swallowed was worth its current body size! She was worried the little one’s stomach might burst open.
The little cat seed to throw a tantrum, owing loudly and scratching the door. Su Yining hurriedly ate her mushroom soup, trying to finish it quickly.
Not long after, everything went quiet. She thought that the little cat might have fallen asleep after all the ruckus it caused for today. Just as she finished her soup and was about to stand up, she suddenly thought of sothing...
How did she end up getting a cat?
She swore that she didn’t an to look for one, but it was this little one who was insisting to stick with her. It even secretly followed her ho.
Should she just take care of it? Thinking it has such a small body and was easy to feed, she decided might as well take the little one under her care.
After all, she had even paid for the ss it caused! Besides, it looked so cute.
With this decision in mind, Su Yining brought dirty bowls to the kitchen and washed them. She even humd a little.
Once she was done, she went to get her phone again. She almost forgot about her Yuanyuan...
The mont she logged in, she saw him eating alone again in the watchtower despite so many beastn gathered around and eating together outside.
He seed a little busy, reading a book on the table, so she didn’t disturb him. Instead, she went to the base’s farming place.
"Wan Lan, how’s the plants’ condition?" Lin Yuyao asked the female rabbit beastman worriedly. "Still can be saved, right?"
They almost killed a plant after they watered it too much. Every plant here was delicate and precious. It was their first experint on growing edible plants for their base, and everyone understood its importance.
Alas, in the dangerous zone, the weather was mostly cloudy without rain. The light from the sun rarely managed to pass through, leading to poorly developed plants. So were more lush than the others, while the rest seed to have stunted growth.
Even plants also fought for nutrition with each other. There were even so kinds of plants that took other plants as nutrition.
Su Yining was reading their dialogues as they discussed plants, finding the topic interesting. Until she heard loud noises coming from the room where she had put the little kitten in.
Startled, she went to check and was astonished by what she saw.
