He disappeared!
Zerra imdiately panicked. "Little cub, where are you?"
"Cassias!" She called out, searching around, even wanting to jump into the ocean to see if he had drowned or sothing.
However, just as she was about to prepare herself to jump, a scaly texture appeared on her hands. She hurriedly grabbed the little dragon cub, preventing him from falling down into the water.
She collapsed to the whale’s body, a little relieved but also annoyed. "Where have you been?"
As she dragged herself to the center of the whale’s body again for safety purposes, the dragon cub titled his head. Then, he burrowed himself into her arms.
Just as she thought he was trying to buy his way out of this problem by pretending to be pitiful, the dragon cub disappeared again. He reappeared less than a second later, holding a few fruits, still fresh.
Not all fruits were ripe. So were still green. Cassias had taken out a few types like grapes, oranges, and even strawberries. As he munched on a white strawberry, his face turned horrified and he flung the fruit away.
"It’s still not ripe," Zerra let out a chuckle. She picked a red strawberry, as big as a quail egg and handed it to him. "Try this."
The little cub was doubtful, but he didn’t refuse. As he tried a bite, his face lit up. A few monts later, all the red strawberries he had brought out were gone; disappeared into his stomach.
His taste still hadn’t changed.
Zerra examined the little dragon in front of her. Cassias indeed had so strawberries stored in his space. However, all of them were red, already ripe.
If the disobedient little thing brought so unripe fruits, there was only one place where he could have gotten it from.
Her inner space.
With a conflicted emotion, she tried to confirm it with him. "Little one, can you enter my inner space?"
Slowly, the little dragon nodded, very proud. His little tail pointed toward the sky and he lifted his head.
Zerra let out a defeated sigh. A humorless laugh escaped her mouth. She had tried various ways to bring him inside her space, but it turned out that he could actually go inside by himself.
She concluded he had to be willing to enter it, or else she couldn’t take him in forcefully.
"Then, it’s settled. We are going to the land." She bit her lip.
"I see that you have made a decision, little fox." The whale took the chance to speak up. "We will be heading to the land then."
Zerra smiled. "Yes, please help us, my friend. I will give you so more crystal cores and spring water. They might be beneficial for you in the long run even if you don’t see an imdiate effect."
"Then, I will thank you too." The whale humd cheerfully.
She took a brief glance at Cassias who was busy trying all the new fruits he had brought out, and asked. "How many days approximately until we reach the land?"
The whale gave her an option. "Do you want to keep the current pace or would you like to swim faster?"
She thought about it. "Just keep the current pace. We are not in much hurry."
During this ti, she needed to make so preparations first. After they were gone for so long, the situation on the land was unknown. Most importantly, they might not land in their country.
It was the worst possible scenario.
There was also another matter about her parents. Although they were currently safe, she was still worried about them. Unfortunately, Cassias in his dragon cub form couldn’t bring them out.
She needed to wait until his sanity completely returned.
"Alright," the whale voiced its approval. "It might take a week to arrive there."
Zerra nodded, her eyes trained to the horizon. There was anticipation, but also fear of the unknown future.
Her identity and life experience seed to be more complicated than it seed. The countless reincarnations she had gone through... could she finally find the cause and put an end to this?
She was really dying to figure out everything. There was soone else besides Cassias who might be able to answer her questions.
Nyra.
So, she had to go back to find her older siblings as soon as possible.
During this ti, she found out that Cassias could take out things from his space, but he couldn’t put them in. His inner space seed to be broken...
It was highly concerning. She spared no effort to transfer the wood power and enhanced it so that he could heal faster. Because he had taken out a few spring water bottles and crystal cores, he kept tripping on the items falling from his space.
The little dragon’s face was helpless every ti it happened. Unfortunately, it was sothing that was out of his control. His inner space seed to have leaked.
As such, she took extra caution. While her hands pinched the addicting soft and scaly texture of his wings, she emphasized. "As soon as you see sothing falling from your inner space, throw it into mine, okay?"
The little dragon nodded.
She didn’t know whether he truly understood or not. After all, he has the intelligence of a child right now, so she tried to make him practice on it.
Gradually, he beca better at it and his movent was quick. It was good. Food was so scarce now. If anyone found out they had food, so malicious people would take advantage of them.
She could handle so humans, but it was still better to be safe than sorry. You will never know what will happen in the future.
Thanks to her treatnt, Cassias’ rate of randomly dropping things also decreased. She also discovered another pleasant fact: Cassias could go in and out of her inner space any ti.
Even when she was sleeping, he could still do it. The ti limit didn’t apply to him.
What was the cause of it...?
Oh. She suddenly rembered sothing and her face couldn’t help but heat up slightly. She had discovered the reason.
When she first decided to heal Cassias’ sea of consciousness from within, she hadn’t considered this. However, she belatedly realized that this was sothing very intimate.
Even these couples in the Celestial realm wouldn’t easily let partners inside their sea of consciousness unless they had high trust between each other.
Such a trust would need to undergo various tests. Each one with the possibility of betrayal. If their partner was worthy of such trust, only then would they let them inside their most vulnerable place.
Cassias didn’t even give her the slightest bit of resistance. Even if he was unconscious, if he didn’t trust her, things wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.
She had even considered taking forceful asures, harsh yet not in the way that would hurt him. But it wasn’t needed at all.

A week passed quickly. Zerra was a little sentintal when it ca the ti to part ways with the whale.
It had been the most understanding companion for her. With Cassias injured and currently unconscious, the whale was the only friend she could talk to. Otherwise, if she were to be trapped in the sea alone, she might have gone crazy.
"In this pouch, there are so bottles of spring water and crystal cores." Zerra fondly touched the whale’s body.
She threw the pouch into the water and the whale was quick to catch it. Its mouth opened, sucking the pouch inside and didn’t imdiately consu them.
"May we have the chance to see each other again, little fox." The whale humd, not as cheerful as before.
Zerra smiled. It seed that she wasn’t the only one who was saddened by the parting. Unfortunately, she had to. Her friends and siblings were still waiting sowhere.
"Yes, may we et again, my friend." She let out a breath. "Take care of yourself. Thank you for your help all this ti."
As she cradled Cassias in her arms, she jumped into the water. The whale’s body was still too big, so it couldn’t go too far near the shore. But it could still help her create waves to send her to the nearest land.
"Go inside for a while, okay? Don’t co out unless I tell you to. The outside world is too dangerous for you," she coaxed the little dragon.
Fortunately, he listened to her. Once they were very close to the shore, he went inside her space, making her breath a sigh of relief.
Soon, she arrived on the beach, gasping. Because of the aura she carried after she spent a lot of ti with the whale, the mutated sea creatures avoided her.
However, the sa couldn’t be said for humans.
So of them approached her. Still drenched and trying to bask in the sun, a few people asked her.
"Hi, are you stranded?" They slowly asked. "Where are you from?"
She opened her eyes and scrutinized them. The mont she saw their looks and attire, she heaved a sigh of relief. The language too. She was still within her country. The whale must have known about it.
She stood up and faced them, marking a new journey in this life.
"Yes, I got swept up by the waves."
