Ruel watched i Feng as she spoke, her voice growing softer and more halting with each word.
He noticed her eyes, red-rimd and heavy, struggling to stay open.
By the ti she finished speaking, her eyelids fluttered, and she leaned against the wall, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
"You haven't slept, have you?" Ruel asked gently, his voice filled with concern. "Not since... yesterday?"
i Feng shook her head weakly, her eyes closing completely. "No... couldn't... too much..."
Ruel frowned.
He realized, belatedly, the sheer ordeal she'd been through.
The initial attack, the desperate escape, the betrayal, and then... him.
It was a wonder she was still conscious.
He carefully shifted her so she was lying more comfortably, her head resting against his thigh. He knew she needed rest, and fast.
"System," he said, his voice low but firm, "show the rewards. For surviving... all that, and for taking down that giant thing."
A clear, tallic voice echoed in his mind. [Ding! Displaying Rewards:]

- Heaven Devourer Skill Card : Gives the Host, the ability to devour any form of energy within the heaven.
- Grandmaster Spearman Skill Card : Gives the Host, the ability of Spearmanship to the Grandmaster Level.
-Superhuman Serum x1 : Gives the Host, the ability of Super natural creatures, Gives resistance to zombie virus.
-Thunder Body Consitution Card x1 : Assimilates Thunder body constituion to host's physics, giving the ability of controlling thunder attribute.
Ruel considered the rewards.
But the Serum and the Constitution Card... those sounded interesting. Especially the Serum.
He had no idea what any of them fully entailed, but they sounded incredibly potent. He made his decision quickly.
"System," he commanded, keeping his voice low so as not to disturb the sleeping i Feng, "integrate the Thunder Body Constitution Card, the Grandmaster Spearmanship Card, and the Heaven Devourer Skill Card into my body."
Suddenly ruel felt the changes in his body, but he was already used to it.
Ruel, Feeling the weight of exhaustion finally catching up to him.
He shifted slightly, making i Feng more comfortable against his thigh, and then closed his own eyes, letting the darkness claim him.
He drifted off to sleep almost instantly, the image of crackling energy and swirling power fading into his dreams.
- In the Morning -
The first rays of dawn, pale and tentative, crept through the shattered windows of the building.
As the sun climbed higher, painting the sky with hues of gold and rose, Ruel's eyes fluttered open.
He felt...reborn. Lighter, stronger, infused with a strange, crackling energy.
The first thing he saw was a translucent panel shimring in his vision:

He blinked, processing the information, a wave of awe and anticipation washing over him.
The information, the knowledge, was there, imprinted on his mind, woven into his muscles and bones.
"Whoa..." he breathed, a low hum of power resonating in his chest.
Then, he felt an intense warmth, a wet pressure, lower down, demanding his attention.
He looked down, and his breath hitched, his eyes widening in surprise and arousal.
i Feng was kneeling between his legs, her face buried in his groin, her hair a dark curtain against his thighs.
Her lips moved with a slow, deliberate rhythm, her hands gently guiding him, her expression one of focused devotion.
She looked up at him through her lashes, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of playful mischief and raw, unadulterated lust.
"Good morning, sunshine," she murmured, her voice slightly muffled but thick with invitation. "Ready to start the day... the right way?"
A surge of heat shot through Ruel, his body responding instantly and powerfully.
He gripped her hair, his fingers tangling in its softness, and with a low groan, he pressed her face harder against his engorged length.
"God, i Feng..." he rasped, his voice rough with desire. "You're insatiable."
He held her there, his control slipping with each exquisite movent, his gaze fixed on her, his expression a mixture of intense pleasure and raw possessiveness.
He watched her work, his breath coming in ragged gasps, his body trembling with anticipation.
Finally, with a shuddering cry that echoed in the silent room, he emptied himself into her mouth, filling her with his release.
"Ahhhh..." he groaned, his head falling back against the makeshift headrest. The stolen morning had begun, a raw, passionate start to a new, dangerous day.
Ruel leaned back against the makeshift headboard, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips as i Feng finally pulled away,
a delicate sheen of his release on her lips.
"Well," he drawled, "that was certainly a... morable start to the day."
i Feng, flushed and slightly breathless, wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, a playful glint in her eyes despite the slightly awkward situation.
"You have a way with mornings, Ruel." She glanced around the ruined room, then her smile faltered slightly as she took in the tattered remains of her dress. "Right... clothes."
She picked up the shredded fabric, holding it up with a grimace. "Looks like soone got a little... enthusiastic last night." She shot Ruel a pointed look.
Ruel shrugged, completely unrepentant. "Hey, you were arousing."
i Feng sighed dramatically. "Easy for you to say. You're... well, you're always prepared for this kind of situation, aren't you?" She gestured to his perpetually naked state with a wry smile.
Ruel chuckled, completely unfazed. "Born ready. It's a gift, really." He stood up, stretching languidly, completely unselfconscious about his nudity.
i Feng rolled her eyes, then turned her attention back to the ruined dress.
After a few monts of careful maneuvering and strategic tearing, she managed to fashion a makeshift covering.
It was... minimal. The torn fabric covered her breasts and wrapped around her hips, leaving most of her legs and back exposed.
She turned to face Ruel, striking a pose with a mock-serious expression. "Ta-da! Fashionably post-apocalyptic, wouldn't you say?"
Ruel raised an eyebrow, his gaze sweeping over her exposed form with blatant appreciation.
"Definitely... fashionable. Though I'd argue it's more 'pre-apocalyptic' for ."
i Feng huffed, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
"Oh, shut up. At least I'm trying to maintain so semblance of decency." She glanced at his unabashed nudity again.
"You, on the other hand... you're just embracing the chaos."
Ruel grinned, completely unapologetic. "Hey, if you've got it, flaunt it. And besides," he waggled his eyebrows suggestively, "you don't seem to mind."
i Feng blushed, looking away. "Just... just let's go, okay? Before soone sees us."
She glanced around nervously, imagining encountering other survivors in her barely-there outfit and Ruel's... complete lack of one. The image made her want to both laugh and hide.
