Chapter 243
“Is this the new girl they brought back?”
“What a sin! That poor girl probably has no idea what their real purpose is for bringing her here.”
“Should we… go and warn her?”
“Are you crazy? If Lord Moli or his n find out, you’ll be buried alive!”
“And even if we warn her, it won’t do any good. She’s already here. Do you really think she can get out?”
“How pitiful…”
Gu Wanyin could feel the gazes of others on her—so curious, so sympathetic, so pitying.
She looked around, eting each gaze, and then gave them all friendly smiles.
After all, she was here to take guests back.
So, of course, she had to make these people feel that she was friendly and gentle.
This way, she could communicate with them more effectively.
“Where are you taking ?” Gu Wanyin asked. “I see others are already queuing for lunch. Can I go and get so food too? I haven’t eaten in days.”
After blurting that out, she realized her face was glowing with health, which made her claim seem completely unbelievable.
However, the n were too caught up in the excitent of bringing back a stunning beauty and the prospect of being praised by Lord Moli, so they didn’t notice anything amiss.
“Don’t worry,” one man coaxed her. “Every newcor has to et Lord Moli first. After eting him, he’ll definitely give you food.”
Another man let out a strange chuckle. “And by then, maybe you’ll get whatever you want from him.”
The other n caught on to his aning and laughed in a creepy manner.
After all, Lord Moli had quite the reputation for being lecherous.
Their laughter made Gu Wanyin’s brows furrow in disgust.
But she felt it wasn’t the right ti to make a move.
It could cause panic among the others.
In that case, she might as well go and et this Lord Moli first.
The n led Gu Wanyin to the entrance of a large house.
One of them raised his hand and knocked on the door.
“Lord Moli, we’ve brought a new recruit,” he announced.
After a long while, a lazy voice ca from inside. “Co in.”
The man pushed the door open.
The others imdiately gestured for Gu Wanyin to follow.
As soon as Gu Wanyin stepped inside, the strong sll of alcohol nearly knocked her off her feet.
The floor was littered with empty bottles.
Lord Moli was sprawled lazily on a sofa, shirtless.
Beside him stood a young boy and a young girl, both of whom had nurous scars on their bodies.
Their eyes were vacant, as if their souls had been drained.
Gu Wanyin thought to herself, *This Lord Moli is such a disgusting pervert.*
“My lord, this is the new recruit we’ve brought for you,” one of the n said.
At this, Lord Moli lazily turned his head to glance at Gu Wanyin.
Then, he imdiately sat up, his eyes lighting up with excitent.
“Good! You lot are finally useful!”
Hearing this, the n grew excited.
“Then, my lord…”
“I’ll reward each of you with a large piece of beef!”
“Thank you, my lord!”
At this ti, beef was a luxury among luxuries.
In the shelter, only Lord Moli was privileged enough to eat it.
To their surprise, Lord Moli was being so generous this ti, rewarding each of them with a whole piece.
Today was their lucky day. They had only left the shelter for a short while when they stumbled upon such a beauty!
One man excitedly said to Gu Wanyin, “Your good days are coming. Serve Lord Moli well, and you’ll be living in luxury!”
After saying that, they didn’t wait for Gu Wanyin’s reaction and left directly.
One of them even kindly closed the door behind them.
Lord Moli kept leering at Gu Wanyin, his gaze making her want to gouge his eyes out.
The young boy and girl in the room looked at Gu Wanyin with mixed emotions, wanting to say sothing but not daring to.
They were terrified of the so-called “witch.”
After all, the witch was said to be capable of killing vampires.
Killing a human would be even easier.
Although they didn’t want the girl in front of them to suffer the sa fate as they did…
For the sake of their own survival, they could only remain silent.
“Little beauty, what’s your na?” Lord Moli asked lecherously.
Gu Wanyin didn’t respond.
“Not talking? Are you mute? No matter, you’re so beautiful that even if you are, I’ll still like you.”
As he spoke, Lord Moli got up from the sofa and walked toward Gu Wanyin.
Seeing his perverted expression, Gu Wanyin felt like beating him into a pulp.
“Don’t co any closer,” Gu Wanyin said coolly.
“Oh? So you’re not mute after all. Heh, little girl, now that you’re here, you might as well submit to . There’s no escaping my grasp!”
Lord Moli grew more and more excited, his eyes practically glowing with lust.
Then, like a hungry wolf, he lunged at Gu Wanyin.
Gu Wanyin sighed.
“Why didn’t you listen to ?”
Just as he got close to Gu Wanyin, he suddenly face-planted onto the ground.
The impact made his face and body feel like they were being crushed.
What was worse, he couldn’t move at all!
And if this continued, he might just suffocate.
Fortunately, Gu Wanyin had no intention of letting him suffocate.
So, she gave him a light kick, flipping him onto his back.
Lord Moli finally caught his breath, gasping heavily.
But he still couldn’t move, his lifeless eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at Gu Wanyin.
What was going on with this woman?
Was she the one who had done this to him?
Could she be a witch too?
But that was impossible. The only other witch he knew of was Doyle, and their teacher had died years ago.
Besides, he had never heard of a third witch existing in the world.
Could it be that this woman’s witchcraft was even stronger than his?
“I told you not to co closer, but you just wouldn’t listen,” Gu Wanyin said, shaking her head. “Now look at you.”
As she spoke, she pulled out a giant hamr from her space.
The hamr, a gift from the system, was finally going to be put to use.
Lord Moli’s eyes widened in terror as he watched her wield the massive hamr.
Where had this woman pulled such a huge hamr from?
The young boy and girl were equally stunned, shrinking further into the corner in fear.
“Don’t be afraid,” Gu Wanyin said with a friendly smile. “This hamr isn’t for you two.”
Then, she raised the hamr and brought it down hard on Lord Moli.
Of course, she adjusted the hamr’s power.
This strike wouldn’t kill him.
But it would inflict imnse pain, as if every bone in his body had been shattered.
And since he couldn’t make a sound, he couldn’t even scream in agony.
