ming didn't want to argue with the creature he was in a tug-of-war with for the ti being. He had more important things to do. The golden light column that burst out after the big cat died on the square inside the mist was the focus of him.
After all, if the cards that drop out were not picked up within a certain ti, they would automatically disappear.
So, he planned to experint with other directions of the mist.
"Raoul, I'm giving you a chance to contribute."
ming summoned Raoul from the puppet space, "Squat down."
"Heh heh~"
"Fly!"
The mont Raoul squatted down, ming jumped on his back, riding his neck with both hands holding his two horns.
As Raoul flapped his wings and flew in the direction Ming pointed, ming had to admit that Raoul was really useful, especially his two horns, which were a perfect evolution.
Stretching the left horn, Raoul knew to fly to the left. Pulling the right horn, he knew to fly to the right.
Grabbing both horns to ascend, he cleverly flapped his wings to rise.
ming was very happy, Raoul's versatility didn't disappoint him.
"Raoul, when you make a great contribution, I've decided to give you a na that only mbers of the Ming family have. I've already thought about it, just waiting for you to contribute. I promise it'll be catchy and nice to hear~"
"Heh heh~"
"Yes, keep it up~"
But he hadn't thought of a na yet. After all, naming was a headache.
At this point, they had arrived at the mist boundary on the other side, and Raoul landed smoothly at Ming's command.
"You're doing great, the lion's mane on your neck is really good."
ming patted Raoul's waist, giving him his most sincere complint. At the sa ti, he threw a rattlesnake, tied with a rope, into the mist, still holding the other end of the rope.
3 seconds later, ming abruptly pulled back the rope. The rattlesnake was still alive!
To be honest, this rattlesnake had good fortune. So he decided to postpone making the snake soup and keep it for experintation.
ming put Raoul into the puppet space and then rushed into the mist!
Buzz~
His head was buzzing, and the city ruins were in front of him, the sky was scarlet.
Sniff sniff~
As his nose slled the surroundings, his eyes watched front and left-right. First, he needed to rule out if there were any monsters around. Then he marveled at the fact that he had entered the mist.
It's okay~ There were no missing parts on him.
Once again confirming that there were no other 'alive' things around, he imdiately summoned zombie Jenna. The reason he chose her was that she was weak enough.
If she were to rebel due to the mist's judgnt of disconnecting the bridge, he could handle her with one hand.
Jenna left the puppet space, and the human and the zombie looked at each other in the mist. ming snapped his fingers, and Jenna imdiately rushed towards him, gently starting to massage his shoulders.
"Ha~"
"Ha~"
"Finally, I've figured out the mist~"
ming sighed, finally understanding after two days, that the puppeteer and the puppet would not disconnect if both were inside the mist.
The mist could be entered at any ti, and it was not dangerous itself, the danger ca from the monsters inside it.
"Start picking up the golden cards!"
ming imdiately put Jenna away and summoned Raoul to protect him, in case the creature that was tug-of-warring with him earlier showed up. At the sa ti, he activated his puppeteer's eye and shifted his perspective to Kubo.
First, he looked at the situation around the car from Kubo's perspective, always on guard against that eyeless creature, which always gave a creepy feeling.
ming was worried that it hadn't gone far but was biding its ti. After observing and not finding any abnormalities, he issued a command to Kubo:
"Drive the car forward."
"Park with the driver's side door next to the pillar of light!"
"Yes, park!"
"Open the door!"
"Pick up the card!"
Kubo followed Ming's instructions, opened the car door, and imdiately stretched out his arm to pick up the golden card on the ground.
Hoo~
At this mont, 'Ming' caught sight of a pale figure rushing from a distance out of the corner of his eye. He imdiately ordered Kubo to retreat into the driver's seat and close the door!
Soon, the eyeless creature ca next to the car, rubbing its face against the car's body and glass.
Don't break the glass!
Don't flip my car!
ming muttered under his breath, now all he could do was rely on God.
"~~"
"All attributes 2000 ."
If he didn't run now, he would beco soone's lunch. Today's goals had been achieved: understanding the mist and obtaining the golden card.
Now, what needed to be done was to get Kubo and the golden card back safely. As for the Four-Ard Vashak in the mist right now, he was sure it couldn't leave the mist. Otherwise, it would have co out to hit him after the tug-of-war.
Using the puppeteer's eye, he switched his perspective to Kubo and looked around. He didn't see the eyeless creature.
Wait again!
ming decisively chose to wait. The reason was simple: he had thought the eyeless creature had gone far away earlier, but it turned out it was lurking nearby. It seed this monster did have so intelligence.
This Vashak was a one-star epic, so what was the rank of the eyeless creature?
Was every zombie in the mist at the epic level?
"Good~"
He still preferred a life full of challenges, of course, under the premise of staying rational. Besides, in his eyes, those epic-level creatures were not terrifying monsters at all, but rather walking coins and resources.
Then, ming walked along the edge of the mist and pondered on the fourth chapter.
Kubo found that there were still intact towns in the mist. Most of the resources in those towns still existed, which was linked with the acid rain that was now continuously descending...
He got it, this was forcing people to enter the mist in the fourth chapter.
Thinking about it now, the third chapter "Hunting Season" might refer to the inside of the mist.
Because that's the real hunting ground.
