Without wasting any more ti, she adjusted the weapon hanging by her side before beginning the climb. Sunny imdiately followed closely behind her, her paws moving quickly over the rough ground.

"Co on, Sunny," Ivy called out softly while climbing over a large rock. "Let’s see what kind of territory the system found for us."

Bark!"

Sunny barked excitedly in response before rushing ahead slightly.

Following the instructions provided by the system earlier, Ivy began moving around the mountain to establish boundaries for the territory.

She first led Sunny toward the eastern side of the mountain. Together, they ran across rocky paths and patches of uneven grass while Ivy used ropes to mark certain points as boundary lines.

The process took ti.

Sweat slowly ford on Ivy’s forehead as she moved around the massive area, but she refused to stop.

After marking one side, she imdiately moved toward another direction with Sunny still faithfully accompanying her.

Eventually, the rope markings began forming a large circular boundary surrounding the mountain and the nearby land connected to it.

The mont Ivy completed the final mark....

{Ding!}

{Congratulations, Host, on successfully marking your territory.}

{Territory size has now doubled.}

"What?" Ivy blinked in confusion.

But before she could even process the system’s words properly, sothing unbelievable happened.

The marked territory suddenly expanded outward.

The mountain itself seed to stretch farther into the distance while additional land unfolded beyond the original borders. Forest areas widened, rocky cliffs extended, and even the scattered houses increased in number.

The entire territory had literally doubled in size before her eyes.

Ivy’s mouth slowly fell open in shock as she stared at the breathtaking scene.

"Woah..." she whispered under her breath. "This is incredible."

Even Sunny stopped moving for a mont, tilting her head while staring around curiously.

Then another notification rang out.

{Ding!}

{Congratulations, Host. You have earned 1,000 points for successfully claiming and expanding your territory.}

"Oh really?!" Ivy exclaid excitedly.

Imdiately, the glowing system interface materialized before her eyes, displaying her updated point balance exactly as the system had said.

1,000 points.

A huge smile instantly spread across her face.

"That’s aweso!" she muttered happily while staring at the floating numbers.

But the surprises weren’t over yet.

{Ding!}

{Host has unlocked a new skill.}

{Would you like to reveal it now?}

"Of course!" Ivy replied imdiately, her eyes widening with curiosity and excitent.

Almost instantly, another panel appeared before her.

{Ding!}

{Host has unlocked the Territory Link Skill.}

{This ability allows the Host to detect any foreign creatures within the territory, including monsters, identify the type of monster detected, and reveal the exact number of points earned upon defeating them.}

{However, rember what I said earlier....these monsters will not be easy opponents.}

"Oh yeah... you did ntion that," Ivy replied with a small sigh as nervousness briefly flashed across her face. She swallowed hard before forcing herself to calm down. "But I believe we can defeat them. and you together."

Sunny barked loudly the mont Ivy finished speaking, her tail wagging proudly as if agreeing completely.

A small smile appeared on Ivy’s lips.

{Ding!}

{Would the Host like to test the new skill now?}

{Are you prepared to fight monsters?}

Silence followed.

For a brief mont, Ivy said nothing.

The wind blew softly across the mountain while her thoughts raced wildly inside her mind.

Fear, excitent, determination....all of them mixed together at once.

"Bark! Bark!"

Sunny’s sudden barking snapped Ivy out of her thoughts.

She looked down at the intelligent dog before slowly kneeling to Sunny’s height.

"Do you think we can really defeat them too?" Ivy asked quietly while rubbing Sunny’s head gently.

Sunny barked again almost imdiately.

That made Ivy laugh softly.

"Of course you do," she muttered with amusent. "You’re really smart, you know that? Honestly, you’re smarter than most dogs I’ve ever seen."

Her expression softened slightly as she continued patting Sunny affectionately.

"Maybe it’s because of the system," she added thoughtfully. "Or maybe you were always special from the start. Either way, I’m glad you’re my companion."

Sunny wagged her tail even harder after hearing those words.

After a few more seconds, Ivy finally rose back to her feet and released a long breath.

She slowly tightened her grip around her weapon while determination filled her eyes once more.

"We’re already here anyway," she said firmly. "So it’s fine if I test the skill and clear out the monsters occupying my territory."

Her gaze swept across the mountain coldly.

"This place belongs to now," Ivy declared with confidence. "And if I’m going to rule this territory, then I need to prove I can protect it too."

A dangerous determination flashed across her face.

"And besides..." she added with a faint grin. "I definitely need those points."

{Ding!}

{Excellent. Initiating Territory Link Skill now.}
