By the ti Ivy finished receiving all her orders from the supermarket at the given address, the sky had grown even more darker with less cars on the road as the streets were beginning to beco a graveyard.
It was late.
Far too late to risk traveling back imdiately as the shelter was far to the city afterall.
After a brief mont of consideration, she decided to spend the night at a nearby hotel. Since she knew her children were safe inside the air raid shelter thanks to the system reinforcing and strengthening the doors...she allowed herself to relax, if only a little.
Still, a small part of her remained restless.
Cautious....always cautious.

After checking into the hotel, Ivy took a long, cool shower, letting the water run over her body as she tried to wash away the tension of the day.
But it didn’t completely fade.
It never really did anymore.
Once she was done, she slipped into sothing comfortable, a night shirt and singlet she had purchased from the supermarket and lay back on the bed, her face turned toward the ceiling. The soft hum of the air conditioner filled the room as cool air brushed against her skin, creating a temporary sense of peace.
For a mont, she simply stared upward, lost in thought.
Sleep didn’t co....it wouldn’t co not when she just found out that the apocalypse remains two days to arrive accompanied with the thought of her children.
"System," Ivy called out calmly, her voice low but clear in the quiet room. "Can I see the base and the warehouse. I want to see the progress. How far we’ve co."
A flicker of curiosity passed through her eyes.
Almost instantly....
Ding!
{Sure host.}
A translucent blue interface materialized in front of her, hovering in the air.
The display split into sections, showcasing both the base and the warehouse in real ti, connected through the system’s surveillance function.
Everything was exactly as she had left it.
Supplies neatly arranged.
A faint smile curved Ivy’s lips as she observed the orderly stacks of supplies.
"Good..." she murmured softly. "At least sothing is going according to plan."
Her gaze lingered on the warehouse for a mont longer before a thought crossed her mind.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
"System," she spoke again, tilting her head as curiosity crept into her tone, "can I transfer the other goods stored in my system space into the warehouse... even though I’m not physically there?"
She paused briefly before adding,
"Or is that not possible?"
For a second, the interface flickered.
Then....
Ding!
{I’m afraid that is not possible, Host.}
{The system storage space and your physical warehouse exist as two separate domains.}
Huh?
{Direct transfer between them can only occur when you are physically present inside the warehouse.}
Ivy’s brows furrowed slightly as she listened.
{However, this limitation does not pose an imdiate issue. All items stored within the system space are completely secured and preserved.}
The blue interface shifted slightly, displaying a subtle pulse of light.
{Additionally, the system retains the ability to collect and store goods from your warehouse or other locations, even if you are not physically present provided the distance is within acceptable range paraters.}
A brief pause followed before the final clarification appeared.
{But transferring items from the system space into the warehouse remotely is currently not supported especially given your present distance from the location.}
Silence settled in the room once again.
Ivy exhaled softly, her expression thoughtful rather than disappointed.
"I see..." she muttered, although scratching her hair as she doesn’t fully understand.
Her eyes returned to the floating interface, studying it carefully.
"So I can pull things in from afar... but I can’t push things in unless I’m physically there."
She finally reasoned it with faint smirk tugged at her lips.
"Fair enough."
Honestly, it wasn’t a major problem.
If anything, it ant her supplies were even safer. No one could access them not unless she allowed it.

{Besides, it is advisable to keep so goods within your system storage for ergency situations you cannot predict. There may be instances where you are forced away from your air raid shelter and warehouse for two or three days. In such cases, the items stored within the system will sustain you.}
"I get it," she said, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Alright, thank you."
The blue interface flickered softly before disappearing entirely.
With that, Ivy let out a deep breath, her body sinking further into the softness of the bed.
A mont later, her thoughts drifted to her children.
Her expression softened instantly.
Without hesitation, she reached for her phone and unlocked it.
"I wonder if they’re asleep already..." she murmured under her breath.
She knew her daughters were fast sleepers, especially after a long day. There was a high chance they wouldn’t pick up.
Still...she placed the video call anyway.
