By evening, Darren returned with the other team mbers, their expressions filled with excitent and satisfaction. Ivy didn’t need anyone to tell her that they had returned victorious.

Besides, she already knew.

Through the territory link map connected to her system, she had monitored the team the entire ti they were away. The mont the last monster fell, the system had already inford her of their success.

Once Darren and the rest arrived back at the shelter, Albert was already in the kitchen area, finishing up the creamy pasta he had prepared with an excessive amount of at. The rich aroma quickly spread through the compound, making the exhausted n almost drool in anticipation.

Not long after, the food was finally ready.

Albert served everyone generously, placing large portions into bowls while the team imdiately dug in without holding back. So of them even looked close to tears after tasting proper hot food again.

The team ate and drank to their hearts’ content, laughter occasionally echoing around the compound as the atmosphere beca much lighter than before.

"It has been cleared, Mrs. Ivy," Darren finally reported after swallowing a large mouthful of at. "We went ahead and marked all the houses there as yours since it now belongs to your territory."

He paused briefly before continuing proudly.

"And just like you said, we killed exactly fifty monsters."

Several of the other n imdiately nodded their heads in agreent.

"Seriously, how did you even know there would be exactly fifty monsters there?" another team mber asked with disbelief written all over his face. "We actually kept count because we thought you were exaggerating earlier, but you were completely right."

"Not even one extra," another muttered under his breath.

Darren wiped the corner of his mouth before adding, "At first, I thought it was just luck, but after counting every single corpse..." He shook his head slowly. "You’re terrifyingly accurate."

Ivy simply smiled calmly at their reactions, seated elegantly before them as though their astonishnt was completely normal to her.

"I already told you not to worry about that," she replied smoothly. "I have my own thods."

Her tone remained relaxed, but her eyes carried seriousness.

"And believe whenever I tell you the exact number of monsters you’ll be facing. Even if additional monsters are about to appear later, I’ll still notify you beforehand so you won’t get ambushed unexpectedly. That way, you’ll have enough ti to prepare yourselves instead."

The team exchanged glances amongst themselves.

The respect they already held for Ivy increased even more after today’s battle.

The monsters they had fought were no joke. So of them had nearly lost their lives several tis despite their military training. Yet Ivy had sohow predicted everything perfectly beforehand.

Just how much did she actually know?

"Anyways," Ivy continued, instantly regaining everyone’s attention, "there’s sothing important you all need to do."

The atmosphere imdiately turned serious.

Several n straightened their backs subconsciously while Darren placed his bowl down attentively.

"You’ve all been sleeping inside my shelter compound ever since you arrived here," Ivy began. "So I think it’s ti you build your own house outside this compound."

The team froze.

"Eh?"

The confusion on their faces was almost identical.

"All the surrounding areas here are already safe and free from monsters for now," Ivy continued calmly. "I would’ve allowed you to build inside this exact compound, but that’s not possible. And although I could simply tell you to occupy one of the houses in the territory you cleared today, I don’t want that either."

She crossed her legs elegantly before adding,

"You all need to remain close to for easier communication and coordination."

"Huh?" one of the n blurted out imdiately. "Build our own houses outside the compound? How are we even supposed to do that?"

Another teammate quickly nodded in agreent.

"Exactly! We’ve already decided not to return to our old base because, honestly speaking, there’s nothing valuable left there anymore. But building houses?" He pointed at himself in disbelief. "We’re soldiers, not engineers."

"Yeah," another complained dramatically. "The only thing I know how to build is a defensive barricade."

A few others burst into laughter at that.

"So how exactly are we supposed to build proper houses?" the first man asked again.

Ivy remained completely unbothered by their reactions.

"Everyone knows the basic structure of a house," she replied casually. "A roof, walls, windows, and support."

She leaned slightly forward.

"Nobody asked you to start making brick mansions."

The team blinked.

"Use wood instead," she continued. "Along with other necessary materials. I’ll provide the tools, the materials, and even guidance if needed."

Her expression turned slightly serious afterward.

"This bunker belongs to , and I can’t continue allowing all of you to sleep outside under the cold night sky every single day without proper shelter."

The mont those words left her mouth, the team beca stunned again.

She would provide the tools too?

Just how was that even possible?
