As they were about to reach her ho, Su Shu rembered sothing very important.
Her Xiao’ai was still in the space, along with two snakes, and although she wasn’t too worried with Little Snake King there, she feared Xiao’ai would be scared if it went on for too long.
And most importantly, Tang Zelin’s stance looked as though he intended to stay here tonight?
Seeing that her ho was just ahead, Su Shu had a stroke of genius in her urgency and gently tapped Tang Zelin.
“What’s wrong?”
“The table at ho is broken; could you help go to Brother Luo’s house to borrow a hamr to fix it?”
Being relied upon is always sothing that makes a man happy, especially with such a trivial matter at hand. Seeing his ho right in front of him and the rabbit within reach nowhere to run, Tang Zelin wasn’t in a hurry.
“Okay, then you go ahead and unlock the door. Find whatever needs fixing, and I’ll fix it all for you.”
“Mhm, mhm.”
Delighted at her successful little sche, Su Shu relaxed completely.
Halfway there, Tang Zelin turned towards the Luo Family’s ho. As he got close, he could hear faint voices speaking inside. Standing by the door, he called out: “Is Brother Luo at ho?”
Luo Gang was talking to his wife, Li Xiaoxia, inside when he suddenly heard soone calling him from outside. He quickly opened the door to find Tang Zelin standing there, and couldn’t help but feel subdued.
“Group Captain Tang, you’re back?”
Tang Zelin smiled: “Ah, I’ve just returned. Su Shu said the table at her place is broken, and I thought since I was passing by, I’d borrow a hamr from you to fix it so that I wouldn’t worry.”
“You wait here, I’ll get it for you.” Luo Gang turned and went inside, soon returning with a hamr and a few nails to hand over to Tang Zelin.
“Thanks a lot, I’ll bring it back to you later.”
Luo Gang laughed: “Take your ti; use it for now. I’ll grab it later when I need it.”
“Okay, I’ll let Su Shu know.”
After Tang Zelin left, Luo Gang closed the door and re-entered the house, telling his wife, “Su girl has finally settled down and got soone who knows to care for her.”
Li Xiaoxia smiled: “Exactly, I think Group Captain Tang is a decent guy, and Su girl has soone to look after her.”
While the couple was feeling emotional about them, on the other end, Tang Zelin, having borrowed the hamr, tried to push the door open… Hmm?
It’s locked?
In just this short ti, had the girl locked the door?
After pushing a couple of tis and failing to open it, he raised his hand and knocked loudly, “Su Shu, open the door!”
Inside the house, there was no sign of Su Shu; she was standing at the entrance of the courtyard in the space at the mont.
She squatted in front of Xiao’ai, instructing: “Have you rembered everything your little aunt told you?”
Xiao’ai nodded her head.
“Good, now, if your uncle asks, just say you were playing in the room, don’t ntion the space, got it?”
Xiao’ai nodded again.
After Su Shu felt she had given enough instructions and sensed soone knocking at the door, she picked up Xiao’ai and stepped out from the space.
She set Xiao’ai down, letting her play with her Dinosaur King to the side. Su Shu glanced at her attire, then went to open the door.
Seeing the door open, Tang Zelin couldn’t help looking inside, curious: “What were you doing? It took forever for you to open the door.”
Su Shu smoothed a strand of hair by her temple, “Nothing much, I was thinking of changing my clothes. I was undecided what to wear, and right when you knocked, I ca over to open the door.”
