Now, watching Su Shu standing desolately outside the closed door, he finally understood what heartache felt like.
Su Shu wanted to go see Tang Zelin. In his urgency, Shen Han blurted out, “Su Shu, take to see Jiang ili.”
Su Shu was startled, then turned around. “She’s over there, just find a warrior to take you,” she replied. She intended to go and explain things to Tang Zelin.
Shen Han said, “I’d rather you take .”
For so reason, he didn’t want her to see Tang Zelin at that mont.

Shen Han frowned; he didn’t like to hear the word “we” co from her mouth, because that “we” didn’t include him.
He knew he shouldn’t be nitpicking over words, but what he didn’t like to hear, he simply didn’t want coming from her.
After so thought, Su Shu figured that Tang Zelin inside must be quite angry at the mont, and it probably wouldn’t be a good idea for her to go in. Moreover, with Qu Guo’an there, they were likely discussing official matters first. Considering this, she thought it wouldn’t hurt to take Shen Han to see Jiang ili first.
“Then let’s go. I’ll take you there first. It’d be best if you could take her away directly.” It was too much trouble having her stay in the military base.
Shen Han said nothing, accompanying Su Shu to see Jiang ili.

Qu Guo’an stretched his neck and leaned in close to Tang Zelin, who was standing by the window. His gaze passed over Tang’s shoulder and out the window to the two departing figures.
He smacked his lips. “I must say, those two make quite a striking couple from behind.”
A cold glare ca his way.
Unfazed, Qu continued, “What’s the old saying? In the past, heroes rescued the damsel, and now the beauty rescues the warrior. It’s quite the tale, isn’t it, Tang?”
Standing by the window, Tang Zelin held a cup in one hand and stood tall. He took a sip of water, his eyes narrowing as he watched the two figures growing smaller in the distance, a dangerous undercurrent swirling in the depths of his gaze.
Qu Guo’an glanced at Tang’s face and chuckled inwardly; he had finally found sothing with which he could occasionally tease Tang Zelin.
As he turned back to his desk to look into the issue of how to allocate the new batch of supplies, the person who had been standing by the window for a long ti finally turned and returned to his own place.
The two n exchanged looks. Qu Guo’an struggled to suppress a smile. “Are you really upset?”
It was rare to see sothing that could anger the “Fox” Tang. It was indeed quite curious.
Tang Zelin propped his long legs by the corner of the table, his eyes half-closed, seemingly lost in thought while he also watched Qu at work.
