Chapter 29: Chapter 29: You are the Sand in the Palm of My Hand from a Past Life

Su Shu, almost scared out of her wits by the scene before her eyes, hurriedly stumbled down from the car.

Xiao’ai, not knowing why, only saw her aunt run past the front of the car as if she were flying, shifting her small body from the left to the right side of the back seat to press against the car window.

Through the car window, in the distance, she saw her aunt throwing herself onto a tall and big uncle.

Huh?

Just as Tang Zelin managed to steady himself, handing the little boy he had rescued into the anxious mother’s arms, he sighed with relief. Thank goodness his reaction was quick; otherwise, the child might have been hit by a car.

The mother hugged her child tightly, ceaselessly thanking Tang Zelin with gratitude.

“It’s nothing, just doing my duty. Keep an eye on your child. There are lots of cars on the road now; don’t let him get bumped or knocked.”

“Thank you! Thank you so much!” The parent couldn’t thank him enough.

Having trained soldiers under a stern face all the ti, Tang Zelin couldn’t stand such a lodramatic scene and, after offering a few words of comfort, planned to leave.

However, as he turned around, he was suddenly embraced full-on by a girl!

Staggering back two steps under the force of inertia, supporting the weight of them both, Tang Zelin was a bit stunned.

Because of the fright, Su Shu had forgotten the fact that they were now strangers to each other.

“Tang Zelin! Are you alright?!”

The man’s na burst out so unexpectedly that his dark eyes flickered slightly.

Seeing that he didn’t respond, Su Shu thought he might have been injured sowhere. She started feeling up his arms and body, checking for injuries, which made Senior Colonel Tang’s complexion look sowhat abnormal.

Grabbing her wrist, if she continued touching him like this, what would it look like!

After all, he was a man.

Su Shu thought he just didn’t want her to worry. He had been like this in her previous life, nearly losing his life for her yet brushing it off lightly so as not to worry her. When she later found out that incident had nearly taken his life, she didn’t know how much she regretted it. Now, frantic with anxiety, she could hardly care about anything else.

When he avoided her, she thought he was the sa strong, uncomplaining Tang Zelin from her last life.

“Say sothing! Where did you get hurt? Why are you always like this? Is there any pain?” She was incoherent, her little face deathly pale.

In this life, it was not easy to et you again. How could I allow myself to miss out.

With her shouting so fiercely, the parent holding the child also stopped, looking at Tang Zelin with concerned eyes, fearing he might have been injured while saving their child.

Tang Zelin was surprised for a second, then quickly snapped out of it, first shaking his head to the parent, saying, “I’m really fine,” and dismissed the mother and child who were slightly hesitant to leave.

He realized that this girl who had suddenly appeared and called out his na correctly was the most difficult to deal with.

The Soldier King born from the special forces, Tang Zelin, took a good look at Su Shu and couldn’t help but be amused.

Wasn’t this girl the one who got all turned around by his little girl in the supermarket the other day?

He smiled a little, his teeth white, his smile broad and sunny, just like his natural easy-going and hearty disposition.

“Miss, I’m really fine. There’s no need to worry.”

“How can you be fine? That huge truck raced past!” Su Shu cried out, her voice trembling.

Tang Zelin’s dark pupils shimred. The girl’s eyes were clear and transparent, filled with genuine concern. Such intense feelings rushed towards him, so full of worry for him, that sohow, he found himself unable to voice the teased comnt that was on the tip of his tongue.

The perennially unflowered iron tree in his heart suddenly throbbed quietly within his chest.

Caught off guard, Su Shu went to check on him again, scaring Tang Zelin into quickly stepping back and widening the distance between their hands.
