Ti flies, three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Wuyin Village enjoyed a rare relaxation after Old Su took the helm, but now the atmosphere was quietly tense again.

The reason is simple, for the day after tomorrow is the slated date to hunt the Lord Shadow Beast.

However, Old Su Can... has yet to erge from seclusion.

In Su Lin’s room.

He sat cross-legged, the slender bamboo pole blade laid horizontally on his knees.

On the blade’s surface, purple-blue electric sparks danced like spirit snakes, crackling dangerously and splendidly between man and blade.

"Is this the might of thunder and lightning qi-blood?"

Su Lin’s thoughts stirred slightly, he raised his palm as arcs of electricity danced like they had a life of their own, swirling agilely between his fingertips.

In the past three days, besides taking the novice hunters, Tongxi and Yiyi, out for training, he devoted the remaining ti entirely to refining the properties of his qi-blood.

"Not easy to control."

The power of thunder and lightning is extraordinarily fierce, far surpassing the flas among the Five Elents, handling it demands great ntal focus.

Yet the destructive power it contains justifies its difficulty.

Once mastered, it becos a first-class thod of slaughter.

Su Lin stood up and brought his blade to the rooftop terrace.

The giant stone, once used as a target, still stood alone and proud.

He held his blade steady, not deploying the complex Thirteen Techniques of the Miao Blade, but reverted to the most basic stance, raising his long saber with pure simplicity like when he first learned.

Thoughts gathered!

Crackle—!

The ear-piercing sound of electricity abruptly exploded on the terrace.

Wisps of purple-blue electric light surged from his palm, instantly coiling around the cold blade.

Buzz—!

A resonant saber cry vibrated the air!

The black blade with natural lightning-like golden patterns, illuminated segnt by segnt from the hilt, radiating dazzling golden light, making the silver-white blade glow brilliantly!

Su Lin took a deep breath, his gaze sharp as a hawk, firmly locking onto the center of the giant stone!

Swing the blade!

Slash fiercely!

Boom————!!!

A thunderous explosion suddenly erupted on the rooftop!

Su Tongxi and Song Yiyi inside simultaneously looked up in shock toward the window.

"Thunder?"

Then, another explosive roar echoed above.

"Whoa—!"

Song Yiyi was scared out of her wits by the close-range terrifying explosion, scread and reflexively hugged the nearby Su Tongxi tightly.

Su Tongxi wasn’t frightened by the loud noise, but caught off guard by Song Yiyi’s intense reaction, she lightly patted her back and comforted:

"Sister Yiyi, don’t be afraid, it’s fine! It must be Brother Kirin trying out so new move on the terrace."

"What kind of experint can create such a big commotion?" Song Yiyi, still terrified, voiced shakily.

Su Tongxi thought for a mont and hesitated:

"Could it be...that newly forged blade from a few days ago?"

Song Yiyi incredulous:

"A blade...can explode?"

Su Tongxi chuckled:

"Who can say with Brother Kirin’s affairs, right?"

"..." Song Yiyi paused, then agreed, nodding, "That’s...true."

Her tense nerves relaxing, she looked at the petite Su Tongxi in her arms, playful again, and began teasing her "as payback."

Since that night, Song Yiyi had been unusually clingy.

When Su Lin was free, she pestered him; when he trained, she clung to Su Tongxi.

In certain ways, she was surprisingly bold, quite playful despite lacking skill, even daring to pull Su Tongxi to accompany her at night, making Su Tongxi too embarrassed to open her eyes the next day.

At the terrace, the gusting wind scattered the pervasive dust, revealing the chaotic scene.

The incomparably hard giant stone was already shattered into pieces, large and small charred fragnts, the surfaces pitch-black as if charred by fire.

"The power is truly domineering." Su Lin contentedly surveyed the long saber in his hand, a smile curling his lips.

Currently, with just two parts qi-blood bolstered by this thunder and lightning qi-blood might, he was confident in a one-on-one duel, effortlessly slaying Zhang Shuo, who once had eighty percent qi-blood and possessed strange rotten flesh defense!

He was sure Zhang Shuo’s prized defense couldn’t withstand the thunderous force embedded in this blade’s edge.

His gaze swept over the scattered charred stones, inspiration flashing in Su Lin’s mind:

"Previously learned the technique to instill qi-blood into crossbow arrows, wondering if I can replace it with this thunder and lightning qi-blood..."

If successful, it would undoubtedly be another powerful ace up his sleeve!

He imdiately went downstairs to retrieve his hand crossbow and returned to the rooftop to attempt.

However, the first experint t with a severe setback.

The crossbow arrow, enhanced tenfold by the entry, couldn’t withstand the violent power of thunder and lightning and exploded instantly!

Though he wasn’t hurt, a precious hand crossbow was thus rendered useless.

Su Lin shook his head helplessly:

"The control is still insufficient. Perhaps when I manage finer control in the future, it might really work."

With the precise shooting entry supporting him, long-range attacks remained his advantage, and he naturally wouldn’t give up easily.

He temporarily suppressed this idea, deciding to attempt again when his control over Qi and blood improved further.

...

When the tide of Night Beasts receded.

Su Lin and the two others gathered in front of the giant beast hunting beehive, holding their breath and intently watching the cocoons within the nest.

The thirty nest chambers covering most of the wall were all subtly shaking.

After the young bees hatched two days ago, they gnawed away the wax mbrane covering the nest chambers, and now the hard, green cocoons were clearly visible inside.

Each cocoon, over half a ter long, began to shake violently, and cracks silently blossod at the center of the cocoon shell.

Song Yiyi tightly hugged Su Lin’s arm, her whole body almost clinging to him, tiptoeing, with her big eyes wide open, curiously and nervously peering at the beehive.

Su Tongxi also unconsciously gripped Su Lin’s hand, her little face full of anticipation.

The three of them were witnessing for the first ti the birth mont of this mysterious Tier One chanism creation.

Crack——!

A crisp cracking sound shattered the silence!

Two sharp long stingers, flashing with tallic cold light, suddenly pierced out from the cocoon!

"Huh? Where did the stingers co from?"

Su Lin was astonished, the sharp cold light made him mistake it for tal.

Then, the pair of stingers continued to pierce through the cocoon from the inside, poking out small holes.

The more Su Lin and the others watched, the more amazed they beca.

Crash!

A louder cracking sound, and the cocoon finally split completely!

Giant bees, with their bodies glistening with a cold tallic sheen, struggled out from the broken cocoon, clumsily stretching their still-soft wings within the nest chambers.

The Giant Beast Hunting Bees had finally tamorphosed!

Su Tongxi, seeing their appearance clearly, couldn’t help but exclaim softly:

"Ah! So the stingers just now... were their forelimbs! What a peculiar creature!"

Su Lin, looking at each of the giant bees with their double-needle forelimbs, found his expression a bit strange and thought how this form... gave off a strange sense of deja vu?

Song Yiyi also exclaid:

"They sure look formidable! I wonder how their strength compares to mine?"

As the thirty hunting bees just erged from the cocoons, their four wings closely stuck to their bodies quickly extended and stretched taut.

With the slight tremble of their wings, the viscous liquid remaining on them was flung onto the nest walls.

Subsequently, these giant bees wriggled and squeezed out vigorously towards the outside of the nest.

Seeing this, Su Lin and the two others quickly stepped back a few steps to clear space.

One by one, the double-needle giant bees flapped their wings and flew away from the nest!

Their entire bodies were covered with black and yellow interlinked shells, smooth and hard, reflecting a cold tallic sheen, with no fuzzy feel of common insects.

Their heads were flat in front with two large compound eyes embedded on both sides, looking like two pairs of cold tallic sunglasses.

Their mouthparts were well-developed, and the mandibles were strong and sturdy.

Besides the iconic double-needle forelimbs, there were two pairs of slender jointed limbs under their abdons.

The final form of these giant beast-hunting bees, with its cold, formidable, and powerful appearance, greatly exceeded the expectations of Su Lin and the two girls.

Especially the two girls.

They originally still had so aversion to insect chanisms.

But after seeing these, which resembled chanical warriors in biological attire, that aversion instantly vanished, replaced by amazent.

Song Yiyi murmured:

"This... doesn’t look gross at all, on the contrary... it’s so cool!"

After the thirty giant bees erged from the nest, they initially fluttered clumsily a few tis in the air but quickly gained balance in their flight.

In the next mont, an astonishing scene occurred!

They hovered neatly in the air like well-trained elite soldiers, rapidly forming into three orderly formations!

Their movents were smooth, discipline strict!

Su Tongxi and Song Yiyi watched in awe.

"So... so cool!"

Song Yiyi couldn’t help but exclaim again, her eyes shining with wonder.
