Dawn Steel Plant.
The Black Pine Forest on the outskirts of Seagull City had completely vanished, replaced by a series of connected large factory buildings.
With construction blueprints provided by the bionic chanical Servants, and under the relentless day-and-night efforts of the workers, Ark’s steel plant had grown into a massive entity.
The crisscrossing pipelines and conveyor belts resembled steel veins, perating the various workshops, where a host of workers were busily engaged.
In mid-air, a peculiar whistle suddenly sounded.
People looked up to see more than a dozen Light-Seeking vehicles hovering in the sky, each teardrop-shaped golden transport hanging fresh steel insect shells beneath them with steel cables.
The vehicles ticulously navigated through steaming torch towers, reaching the vast open-air material storage area.
Several hundred tons of insect shell material had already accumulated into a mountain.
Manager Abel stood on a high place of the factory building, only relaxing slightly after watching the vehicles steadily deliver the materials to the ground.
These were rare materials brought out by Lord Lin Lan and a group of warriors with great effort, and nothing could go wrong on his watch.
A mont later, a Light-Seeking Vehicle approached, and a young Feis student nimbly jumped down from the transport.
"Uncle Abel!"
Elma wagged his tail as he reported, "There’s still so material left to transport, we need to make another trip."
"You haven’t had lunch yet, have you?"
Abel handed over so dried fish he had prepared: "You’ve been busy all morning, do you want to replenish your energy first?"
"It’s fine, the steel plant isn’t far from Lord Lin Lan’s manor, we can work a bit longer!"
Elma twitched his ears happily as he chewed the fresh dried fish, "Uncle Abel, could you ask Aunt Mary to leave us so more dried fish for dinner?"
"Don’t worry, recently our logistics have received a lot of good food supplies from the port."
Abel always wore a smile, and he winked: "Lord Lin Lan even prepared Roro Fish for you all, eat to your heart’s content after work."
Elma and a few other Feis youths instantly lit up, their tails wagging quickly on instinct.
Roro Fish!
They had never tasted such expensive food in their lives!
Elma eagerly jumped onto the transport, adeptly operating the lever, and a few Light-Seeking Vehicles quickly darted into the seaside city not far away.
Abel couldn’t help but feel a bit emotional.
He truly admired these young people with furry ears; they were quick-witted, ticulous, kind-hearted, and more diligent and serious at work than any workers.
Who knew why those Alliance Chambers of Comrce would treat them maliciously...
Abel had even tried the freeze-dried food they brought, and all he could say was that it was almost harder to swallow than sand-flavored biscuits.
But whether it was these children or the local residents, the difficult days were now long past.
He gazed into the distance, the ever-changing seaside skyscrapers glittered under the sunlight, and the developnt speed of Ark Island was just too fast, really too fast.
Even in the eyes of the locals, the city’s changes were dazzling; however, as the head of the steel plant, Abel only wished for the city’s developnt to be even faster.
Ark People could not be bullied any longer...
Abel withdrew his gaze, looking at the new type of steel stacked in the open space, and felt more and more invigorated.
He was all too familiar with this material; after all, the first generation of Sun Armor was hamred out piece by piece by him using this material!
These rare materials that appeared out of thin air were truly the first step for Ark Island to stride towards strength!
Abel knew in his heart that Lord Lin Lan had already set his sights beyond Ark Island.
Shipbuilding!
Ark Island urgently needed steel ships that could sweep away everything on the sea!
Nowadays, anyone could casually strike at their gates, wantonly harming innocent Ark citizens. Although the Sun Warriors could defend the holand, re defense was not the solution.
Only by building their own steel grand ships could Ark Kingdom deter those with ill intentions, keep up with the Alliance and Empire, and formally explore the unending mysterious seas.
Moreover, the entrance to the new sea route lay in front of Seagull Port. Whenever night fell, one could always see that gigantic, fissure-shaped spherical star.
If not for ’Hero Sea Waves’ Lord Roman guarding the entrance, those foreign sailors would have long rushed in mindlessly...
Abel was also a bit anxious.
The group of sailors let in by Lord Lin Lan previously hadn’t returned yet; who knows what they’ve found on the new route...
However, what troubled Abel was that those Empire craftsn who knew how to build ships seed to be acting up today for unknown reasons.
From the mont they saw the new materials, their faces had changed dramatically, shouting things like ’You are all madn!’, ’How dare you use this stuff to build ships!’ before they huddled together in an empty room, refusing to step out no matter what.
Even when people were sent to soothe them, their response was only vigilance and alertness.
Weren’t the people of the Empire supposed to be brave and fearless?
Why beco inexplicably afraid like this?
·
"Oh god... they’ve brought another batch of Nightmare corpses..."
Inside the newly constructed spacious factory, a young Empire craftsman carefully looked out the window, his face growing increasingly pale.
"Damn it! Aren’t they afraid of having their brains gnawed by the Nightmare Demon hidden inside?!"
Another slightly older craftsman paced back and forth, gritting his teeth, "Madn! All Ark People are mad!"
The leading man, Hoffman, remained silent, his face solemn as he watched the Nightmare entity in the distance, seeming to wait for sothing.
A mont later, a young man pushed the door open and entered; he looked outside with lingering fear before softly speaking to the older man.
"Mr. Hoffman, Lady Margaret has been placed under house arrest by Ark’s soldiers."
He swallowed hard, his expression sowhat complex, "But she instructed that we follow all of the Ark Leader’s arrangents."
The Empire craftsn who had co to observe the Ark factory exchanged glances.
Hoffman was slightly taken aback; he had assud that Lady Margaret would imdiately stop the Ark Lord’s actions, but the choice made by that naturally strong-willed Countess took him by surprise.
After so thought, he cautiously asked, "What about Lord Elio?"
"That lord is in the core area of the Ark Steel Plant, communicating with local master craftsn."
The young man responded imdiately.
Hoffman’s gaze beca increasingly peculiar.
It seed, indeed, the Ark Leader truly possessed the power to control the Celestial Calamity!
At this mont, the heart of this legendary craftsman suddenly raced violently, as he recalled the gray-haired boy’s eyes, so indescribable power seed to cover his cognition and rationality.
Control the Celestial Calamity... Control the Celestial Calamity...
Yes, this was precisely the dream that the Empire’s Dukes had always yearned for...
What was there for to hesitate about?
Unknowingly, under the eyes of the crowd, Hoffman pushed open the door, step by step, approaching the Empire’s nightmare.
He couldn’t help but wonder, what kind of power would a warship built from Nightmare entities possess?
