Chapter 89: The Feeling of Trust

Li Ran smiled and said, “Zhao Zhao is still young but his special ability is already so powerful.”

Yang Shao was very envious of the little boy.

“Seriously, a small boy is stronger than a grown man like . This is too much.”

As he said that, he looked at Gu Jin and patted his shoulder.

“Brother! We’re in the sa boat. Your wife and child have unique powers while you’re useless. You must think that you’re trash. It’s really sad.”

Gu Jin laughed out loud. He denied, “No, I actually feel very happy.”

“Tsk, are you sure you should laugh in this situation? You look almost 40 years old, but you act like a pure and innocent virgin.”

Hearing that, Wang Gang glared at Yang Shao coldly through the rearview mirror. He warned, “You better shut up, or I’ll throw you out!”

Yang Shao clasped his hand on his mouth and stopped talking.

Li Ran looked outside.

“If we continue to drive at this speed, the zombies won’t be able to catch up. A large portion of them had already stopped chasing us.”

Wang Gang nodded.

“You guys look weak but are actually powerful. anwhile, I look strong but am only stronger than those two n. Tsk.”

Yang Shao was not convinced.

“Keep quiet. I want to know how to get a special ability. Why don’t I have it? What must I do?”

“There’s nothing you can do!” said Wang Gang as he laughed mockingly.

Li Ran looked worried. She felt that the world had changed too much too quickly.

Now, even plants have mutated and could kill people.

It was really unexpected and strange.

Anything could happen.

Who knows what they would have to face in the coming future.

The more Li Ran thought about it, the more her head hurt. She took a sip of water and closed her eyes. Soon, she fell asleep.

When she opened her eyes, the car was still.

Everyone else was eating quietly. Zhao Ying saw that Li Ran had woken up and quickly offered her so instant noodles.

The noodles were still piping hot.

Li Ran imdiately accepted the noodles. She had not eaten a hot al in ages. Even in the previous safety base, the food served was always sowhat cold.

She took a bite. The noodles were so fragrant that she beca speechless. Then, she ate another mouthful.

When she looked up, everyone was smiling at her.

Yang Shao finished his food and got out of the car. He wanted to check if he could get seconds. Li Ran then realized that Gu Jin was still cooking outside.

After getting another bowl of instant noodles, Yang Shao said, “Zhao Ying, your ability is too practical. I haven’t eaten anything hot in such a long ti! My stomach is so happy right now!”

He looked so satisfied that everyone could not help but laugh.

Li Ran looked at the group with a smile. She felt very warm around them. After all, they had gone through thick and thin together.

Although they were in an apocalypse, it turned out that not everyone was selfish. Not everyone was like Cui Chong.

Gu Zhao looked at Li Ran with his big, round eyes and said, “Sister, we had a bag of ham sausages but it wasn’t enough for everyone. We wouldn’t give any to brother Yang Shao because we wanted you to have them. I’ve been protecting the ham sausages for you all this ti!”

Once Gu Zhao finished his sentence, he turned around and looked at Yang Shao with a smug smile on his face.

“You have no idea where I hid them, right? Hmph, I’ve actually been holding them this entire ti!”

Then, he took out the ham sausage and handed it to Li Ran.

“Sister, eat it quickly! Brother Yang Shao really put up a fight just now!”

Li Ran smiled and took the ham sausage from the little boy. It really ward her heart.
