Chapter 50: Knife in Hand

Li Ran stretched her body and collapsed on the bed.

Her daily tasks were still not completed. She did not have enough ti. It flew by so quickly.

After a short while, Li Ran exited the mysterious space and was back in Lin Nan’s room.

She buried herself under the blanket and decided to take a nap.

Besides, she was stuck in the room.

Cui Chong’s matter was still a mystery. She had a strong premonition that their special abilities would greatly impact the world.

Subsequently, Li Ran stopped thinking because she felt sleepy.

She tucked herself in and turned off the bedside lamp. The room instantly fell into darkness.

People began clamoring the warehouse. They wanted to see if it was true. The soldiers tried to restrain them but it was futile.

Everyone went on strike. Other than blocking the warehouse’s entrance, they were also at the military region’s entrance. It was vast and mighty. They could not control it at all.

“What’s going on? If the news was fake, then let us take a look. It will make us feel at ease.”

“So many people have gone on a strike. How are we going to keep living?”

“Co out and give us an explanation. We can’t just sit here and starve to death.”

“We worked hard every day and in the end, there’s no food. This is too much.”

The soldiers carrying guns stood outside the warehouse and tried to block the people. They did not utter a single word. Their gazes were cold and the resolution in their faces showed that they would not give in.

Suddenly, a kitchen knife flew across the air. It was aid at one of the soldiers.

The soldier’s expression changed. Luckily, he managed to react quickly and dodged the knife.

However, the person who threw the knife had no intention of giving up. He grabbed another knife and aid at a soldier’s head.

The soldier knew that the man was not joking around. He composed himself and took a big step back.

Fortunately, the nearby soldiers noticed the situation and instantly ca to support him. After a brief fight, the soldiers managed to subdue the man.

The man’s red face gradually turned purple. He was panting heavily. Even so, he gripped the knife in his hand tightly.

It was a tense situation.

A crowd of people began to gather to watch the scene unfold.

One of the soldiers firmly pressed his knee against the man’s wrist because he was unable to safely confiscate the knife. There was a rock nearby. The soldier took it and smashed the man’s fist. Fresh blood spurted out.

The man’s eyes widened and turned red as the pain was intense.

He gritted his teeth and shouted, “Let go of ! Otherwise, there will be consequences!”

However, no one paid any attention to him.

The soldier had a cold expression on his face. They needed to control the situation. Otherwise, unpredictable accidents would occur.

They were following direct orders from Fang Lin and had to defend the place, even at the cost of their lives!

Suddenly, the man beca still and had no reaction at all.

The soldier wondered what happened and slightly lifted his knee

In an instant, the man broke free. Then, with his bloodied hand, he raised the knife and swung it down on the soldier’s head.

Blood spurted out, accompanied by the terrified screams. Everyone was running around. They looked at the man as if he was a zombie.

“What’s going on? Is this man a zombie? How is he so strong?”

“Run! Sothing’s wrong! ”

The people who crowded the warehouse imdiately dispersed.

They were all terrified. It was hard to believe what had just happened.

Even the soldiers were stunned.

They watched in horror as their comrade fell to the ground.
