Chapter 104: Are You Willing?
They arrived in front of the door and it suddenly burst open. The door directly hit Yang Shao’s head
Everything happened in a flash.
The people inside were shocked. Their voices were now clear and crisp.
A woman stuck her head out.
She saw Li Ran and Yang Shao.
Her face was full of fear.
The woman was stunned for a mont but after a brief mont, she went back inside into the room.
anwhile, Yang Shao was in pain. The door had hit him quite hard. He only cald after swearing for a long period of ti.
With a bang, the door was shut again.
The people inside pretended not to see anything.
Li Ran and Yang Shao looked at each other. They did not know what to do.
“Maybe we should knock on the door?”
Suddenly, the people inside began arguing. Their voices could be heard through the crack of the door.
Neither Li Ran nor Yang Shao understood what they were arguing about.

On the other hand, the man was so angry that he could break the door. He did not want to continue talking about nonsense!
His anger had been long suppressed in his heart!
In the past, he even apologized!
Did she think that she could just ignore everything? She did not even consider others’ feelings.

Yang Shao had enough. He gritted his teeth and forcefully opened the door!
A person was standing right in front of them.
Earlier, Li Ran had heard them uttering words like ‘no choice’ and ‘no chance’.
Nonetheless, she had no idea what they were talking about.
Yang Shao glared at them.
“What are you guys doing here? Were you employees of this building?”
If these people were of no use to them, Yang Shao would not hesitate to beat them up!
“No, but we’ve been here for a long ti. We’re very familiar with this place. For your own safety, I advise you guys to enter this room first.”
“For our own safety?”
Li Ran had a puzzled look on her face. She looked inside the room. There were quite a lot of people, but all of them were silent.
“Yes. Hurry up and co in.”
As he said that, the man pulled Li Ran and Yang Shao into the room.
The room was quite different compared to the outside. There was no rat poop and the place was much cleaner.
The young man who opened the door explained, “Everyone is taking refuge in this room. Did you not encounter anything on your way here?”
“You’re stupid!”
*Cough, cough*
“I told you not to let them in. How would you know if they’re trustworthy or not?! What if they get us into trouble?!”
A middle-aged man was struggling to finish his sentences. He was coughing violently.
The man looked at Li Ran and Yang Shao. Then, he sighed deeply.
The young man also looked troubled. He tried to explain, “He did not an any harm. Don’t mind his words. We’re all good people. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to survive together up till now. You don’t know the situation here, right?”
According to the young man, the reason they could not leave was because of the mutated rats. The rats would kill whoever that exit door.
“Moreover, a woman went outside this morning because she did not believe our words. In the end, to no one’s surprise, she was killed. The rats gnawed her at into pieces.”
When Li Ran heard what the young man said, she felt numb.
So that was what happened to the corpse that they had encountered earlier.
She took a deep breath and continued to listen.
“We are also at our limit. There’s barely any food left. Otherwise, we would not be desperate to go outside.”
Li Ran looked around the room.
There were at least twenty people. None of them spoke. The fear in their eyes could not be hidden.
“So you want us to help you?”
Li Ran went straight to the point.
The middle-aged man who was coughing earlier stared at Li Ran.
“Are you willing?”
