Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei helped drive the car back to the 923 Base before leaving.

Before leaving, it was inevitable to have a celebration; everyone laughed and joked until midnight before resting.

During the celebration, Luo Ping noisily insisted on Lu Xi’an singing, and Lu Xi’an didn’t spoil the fun, singing several songs in a row.

However, he didn’t sing any new songs, repeating the ones he had sung before, which eventually led to Luo Ping’s protest.

This guy protested by himself at first but eventually rallied everyone to join in, strongly requesting Lu Xi’an to sing a new song, so Lu Xi’an had no choice but to sing loudly:

"The great river flows east, ah, the stars in the sky form the Big Dipper, ah!"

He didn’t use much technique, nor did he know much technique, relying solely on a burst of energy, but he really conveyed a sense of boldness and freedom.

The crowd enjoyed it, and under Lu Xi’an’s guidance, they gradually followed his rhythm, managing to shout a few lines of "Hey! Hey! Form the Big Dipper, ah! Toast a bowl of wine for life and death, ah!"

But what they shouted most vigorously was "Hey ya! Yi er ya! Hey hey ei yi er ya!"

Finally, when Lu Xi’an sang "Roar when you see injustice, act when it’s ti to act," they all sang along.

The last line "Brave through the Nine Provinces," the crowd quickly caught up with Lu Xi’an’s rhythm, each shouting happily, Chai Xin and Blade among the children also joined in.

In fact, Chai Xin and Blade were a few years apart, but in the eyes of Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei, they still seed like children.

There was also the child Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei picked up back then.

In recent years, several children have been born at the 923 Base, each ti a child is born, they are sent here with their mother.

The environnt here is relatively comfortable, with adjustable temperature and a readily available water supply, maximizing the survival rate of the children.

The child Lu Xi’an initially picked up could still be distinguished by appearance among the other children, but he didn’t specifically greet the child.

That child couldn’t rember anything from his early years, when he was brought back to the base drinking wolf’s milk, he had no mory at all.

Now he only thinks he is like the other kids, born and raised at this base, so why should he unnecessarily bring confusing thoughts to the child?

As Lu Xi’an sang, he looked to Yao Wei, seeing her gradually getting infected by the atmosphere, also blending in, singing "Act when it’s ti to act, Brave through the Nine Provinces," he felt a slight relief.

This woman, finally in a better state.

The next morning, Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei ate sothing and left the 923 Base.

As they left, everyone ca out of the base to see them off from afar.

Now that things were not urgent, Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei did not hurry, slowly returning to Coastal City, where they found a shelter halfway up under the high cliff, and climbed up.

That shelter had been camouflaged from the outside by them, the original climbing steps had long been weathered, blurry and unclear, and now even with close inspection, even they couldn’t locate it with the naked eye.

Finally, it relied on Gou, and they were able to confirm the position, leapt up, kicked down the now unnecessary "wooden door" and entered the shelter.

The two did not hurry to carry the caravan out of the shelter, but got inside, connected the caravan with Gou, changed into pajamas, lay down on the bed, and prepared to have a comfortable sleep.

"Still, the bed in this caravan is comfortable! Getting used to sleeping here, it’s always uncomfortable elsewhere. Even if the room is more spacious, the bed larger and softer, it doesn’t feel right."

As Lu Xi’an lay down, he let out a sigh of extre comfort and then comnted.

"Hmm."

Yao Wei nodded, feeling the sa way.

The two exchanged a glance and couldn’t help but smile at each other in mutual understanding.

"In no hurry to go to East Sea?"

Lu Xi’an asked.

Yao Wei replied: "No rush."

So Lu Xi’an said: "Then let’s sleep awhile first and set off tomorrow."

Yao Wei said: "Okay."

Lu Xi’an found a small umbrella, but just as he was about to tear open the packaging, Yao Wei suddenly grabbed his hand.

Lu Xi’an looked at Yao Wei, slightly surprised.

"No need for that."

Yao Wei said very seriously.

"No need?"

Lu Xi’an asked uncertainly.

"Yeah, no need."

Yao Wei answered, her tone equally serious, "Didn’t you say this is the only way to have a child?"

Lu Xi’an couldn’t help but smile, "I thought you’d only talk about having children after going to East Sea City."

Yao Wei shook her head and said, "No need to wait. They can’t defeat us; even on your own, you could handle them."

She had now compared the strengths of both sides. Although she couldn’t figure out why she and Lu Xi’an were so much more powerful than the others.

But it didn’t matter; all she needed to know was that they were now extrely powerful, far surpassing others, and thus sufficiently safe, and that was enough.

Lu Xi’an also agreed with Yao Wei’s statent. Like Yao Wei, he too now had imnse self-confidence.

After going through so many battles, he was very clear about his own strength, so why bother being as cautious as before?

He placed the raindrop back in its original position, and before he could make a move, Yao Wei was already a step ahead, closing in.

The RV shook within the refuge in the cliff until evening when it finally stopped.

They weren’t in the mood for dinner, nor did they plan to carry the car out of the refuge. Just snuggled together, chatted a bit, and then fell into a deep sleep.

This place was quite safe, far safer than other places. Since they wanted to rest, why bother carrying the car down?

"How does it feel?"

During the chat, Lu Xi’an asked Yao Wei.

Yao Wei thought for a mont and said, "Very different... I can feel... hmm..."

She pondered for a while before she figured out how to describe her feelings and guesses and then shared her sorted-out thoughts with Lu Xi’an.

A movie imdiately flashed in Lu Xi’an’s mind - "Crane Needle".

He smacked his lips, refrained from thinking further, and told Yao Wei, "Let’s sleep."

"Okay."

Yao Wei agreed, and the two fell into a deep sleep.

After waking up the next day, Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei lifted the car, jumped down the cliff, moved back onto the cliff, and placed it properly on the highway.

Even though they were confident in their current strength, they didn’t slack off at all, continued to work out, then made and ate breakfast, and set off south.

Now, without needing to hide and seek, they didn’t stick to the south, driving all the way through Jiangbei, passing the Northern County of Jiangnan City, only then becoming slightly cautious.

But even being cautious, it was just a little alertness, not like before, being so overly careful to avoid encountering anyone.

Now they just needed to avoid encountering any possible foes, there was no need to be so nervous.

—Of course, during this ti they did encounter Neo-Humans, but those Neo-Humans quickly fled once they spotted them.

It’s unclear whether their exploits had already spread in these areas, or if they possessed sothing like a "spiritual pressure" that allowed these Neo-Humans to sense the threat from afar and stay away.

Lu Xi’an felt it was sothing like "spiritual pressure", or perhaps it was better described as "aura".

Yes, after experiencing that revenge battle, both Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei truly felt that there was a certain "aura" about them that could subdue others without fighting.

Perhaps it’s a condensation of killing intent, after a long pursuit, easily defeating strong foes, venting killing intent, a powerful confidence, combined with condensed killing intention, one’s strength, forming an "aura", invisible yet truly existing.

This is also one of the sources of their confidence now.

Continuing south, whether Neo-Humans or ordinary people, when they saw Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei driving the RV, they retreated far away, so the two traveled unimpeded.

They still traveled slowly, with no intention to speed up. Passing each place, they examined it carefully, just like when they were in the north, relying on Gou to search for so supplies.

They seed to take this trip to East Sea City as a journey, leisurely heading south of Jiangnan City, even suddenly deciding to take a look at ngze City.

Yao Wei’s mother died in ngze City, and the enemy’s original base was also in Wanquan County of ngze City.

Now that the enemies were eliminated, they still wanted to visit these places.

So, they turned southwest.

ngze City was southwest of Jiangnan City, east to Jiangnan, west to Sword Mountain, south to the East Sea. At the ti, if Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei could have co directly from Sword Mountain, they would have directly reached ngze City and then to Wanquan County.

Back then, they thought Sword Mountain was blocked and had to return, taking a detour, but thinking now, it’s fortunate the southern road of Sword Mountain was blocked, otherwise, their revenge journey couldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did.

Not to ntion Wanquan County was already deserted, just speaking of those enemies’ strength, if they encountered them ahead of ti, they would have been no match and only sending themselves to death.

—They arrived at Wanquan County in ngze City, took a look around, finding the town desolate, with no one there, and nearby rivers and villages were similarly abandoned beyond recognition.

So, they should be grateful for taking the detour from the east, all the way to the 923 Base, where they gained scientific training thods, then going east to discover good places like Caiyang Mountain, and the new training thods left by Yao Wei’s parents, practicing for four years, hence gaining their current strength.

"So, is it you who protected us in the dark?"

Upon arriving at the place where Yao Wei once buried her mother, Ye Wenxin, Lu Xi’an and Yao Wei worshipped Ye Wenxin together, pondering in their hearts.

Yao Wei, still not saying much at Ye Wenxin’s grave, just quietly kowtowed several tis with Lu Xi’an, and then cleaned the grave that her younger self had personally dug.

"Mom, I’m pregnant."

After finishing all of this, she spoke to her mother at the grave.

In the far distance, there was a sudden loud noise, followed by a voice they heard before, "Ah?!"
