The resounding blue thunder echoed through the sky, deafening the ears of the survivors within the Tianhe City base. Despite being several kiloters away, the survivors could almost feel the thunderous sound as if it were right beside them.

In an instant, it seed like the remaining zombies in the entire city were alard. Roaring, they rushed towards the source of the sound.

Although Liu Wanting had led her troops into the city and eliminated a large number of zombies, there were still tens of thousands of them remaining in half of the city. Now, all these zombies were surging towards the direction of the botanical garden, causing the ground to tremble.

"Is it the master’s pet again?"

The legion commander leading the march with the female warriors raised her head, sensing the gathering zombie tide.

"Sisters, another wave is coming to die. Let’s get to work."

As the command was issued, the female warriors behind her exuded a fierce aura.

These female warriors had truly been tempered in the crucible of blood and fire, engaging in life-and-death struggles with zombies for an extended period. Each one of them had erged from mountains of corpses and seas of blood. In Order, there were tens of thousands of such female warriors.

"March urgently towards the direction of the zombie tide."

Tens of thousands of female warriors mobilized simultaneously, bringing about a remarkable effect. They quickly collided with the oncoming zombie army.

Clad in uniform moon-white battle suits that embraced their graceful figures, the female warriors ford three-person squads, creating a sturdy human wall. They established a defensive line, firmly holding back all the approaching zombies.

Amidst the flashing blades and shadows of swords, severed zombie limbs and heads were scattered everywhere. The soaring blade aura, winding like a castle wall, completely crushed the frontmost zombies.

In the face of this army ford by the female warriors, the zombie horde that had terrified other survivors seed like ants. They were easily annihilated and turned into dust.

The entire scene resembled a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. The black blood and shredded flesh of the zombies nearly covered the entire street. The air was thick with the pungent sll of blood, and the overwhelming killing intent seed almost tangible.

The female warriors forming the human wall steadily advanced. Although their speed was not fast, no zombie could break through the encirclent. Only when encountering high-level mutant zombies did they face a little trouble.

However, with dozens of divinely gifted abilities overseeing the situation, any mutant zombie attempting to break out of the encirclent was crushed with a single blow.

No matter how the zombie horde roared and behaved recklessly, in the face of such a terrifying army, there was nothing they could do, creating no ripples.

In the north of Tianhe City, inside a high-rise building, Pujun held binoculars, observing the battle a few kiloters away. He trembled all over.

Originally a survivor within the Tianhe City base, he was sent here to observe the movents of the zombie horde and report back to ensure the internal safety of the base.

Unexpectedly, he witnessed such a terrifying scene. The zombies that had once frightened them were now surrounded and slaughtered like prey.

It was a genuine massacre. Although the distance was great, and his binoculars couldn’t provide a clear view, he could still see the colossal zombie horde diminishing continuously.

In contrast, there was a steadily advancing army, all dressed in uniform, seemingly composed entirely of won. What’s even more peculiar is that Pujun, throughout the entire observation, didn’t hear a single gunshot. Instead, there were only the earth-shaking roars of zombies in the distance and the inexplicable dry thunder from the botanical garden to the south.

Although filled with intense fear, Pujun forcibly clasped the walkie-talkie with trembling hands and established contact with the base.

Below the air-raid shelter, several high-ranking mbers of the base were puzzled by the sudden thunderous noises. They then received the information from the observer.

"What did Pujun say? Is there a new developnt with the zombie horde?" one of them asked.

"He ntioned that it seems like a military force has arrived in Tianhe City, entirely composed of won. They’ve engaged with the zombie horde and killed a considerable number of zombies. It’s all very bizarre," the observer relayed.

Frowning, Ma Yingjie expressed impatience. He thought, perhaps this job was too comfortable, making Pujun report nonsensical information.

A military force? If there was a military force, they should have co to rescue them long ago. Why would they wait until five years into the apocalypse to think about eliminating zombies?

Not to ntion an army composed entirely of won. Won—could they kill zombies? They might be suitable for venting frustrations or trading, but that’s about it.

Ma Yingjie was growing impatient.

"Tell Pujun to watch carefully. If he continues with this nonsense, he can forget about being an observer. Just toss him out to feed the zombies!" he ordered impatiently.

His subordinate didn’t dare to delay and quickly conveyed the ssage via the walkie-talkie.

"Leader, Pujun said exactly that. Moreover, he saw clearly that the army composed of won is using only cold weapons and seems to possess so special abilities, effortlessly killing zombies."

"Special abilities? Evolvers?" Ma Yingjie’s heart skipped a beat.

If the entire army is composed of Evolvers, facing the zombie horde is not entirely impossible. However, an all-female force raises questions about the nature of the base that could assemble such a team, not to ntion the abundance of Evolvers and the source of so many zombie crystals.

Ma Yingjie himself has ingested zombie crystals and naturally understands the formidable power of these Evolvers. Without reservation, after evolution, he is at least dozens of tis more powerful than an ordinary person. Ordinary zombies are essentially slaughtered in his presence unless he’s surrounded by hundreds of them or encounters mutated zombies.

However, ingesting zombie crystals also brings side effects. Ma Yingjie’s side effect is that his temper becos unusually irritable, often influenced by emotions, making him impulsive in his actions. Yet, compared to the enhanced vision, strengthened physical qualities, or even the survivors who failed in ingesting zombie crystals and mutated into monsters, Ma Yingjie considers himself extrely fortunate.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have beco the leader of the Tianhe City base, holding a team of dozens of Evolvers.

If, as reported by Pujun, the army composed of won is entirely made up of Evolvers, it would be considered terrifying.

"Go tell Pujun to continue observing the details of those won— their numbers, weapons, and strength. I need to prepare," Ma Yingjie turned around, his eyes bloodshot, glaring intently at his subordinates.

"Yes, leader."

The man shivered, feeling inexplicably that Ma Yingjie’s eyes looked sowhat familiar, like those irrational zombies. However, he dared not voice this thought.

"Commander, there’s a little bug peeking at us. Should we give him a lesson?"

A charming and mature-looking woman, dressed in a sexy tight-fitting outfit, sat in the back seat of a military vehicle, speaking to the woman in front.

The equally outstanding young girl, however, slowly lifted her head, glanced at a distant high-rise building, and then withdrew her gaze.

"No need, we’ll deal with it sooner or later. Our current mission is to handle the zombie horde. Don’t cause any trouble and beco a laughingstock for the General," said the Legion Commander.

The General ntioned by the Legion Commander is none other than Liu Wanting. Although her rank is much higher, she prefers these female warriors to address her as General.

"Don’t worry, it’s just zombies in a small city. It won’t take long. We’ve dealt with those big cities like Magic Capital, and it was a breeze coming here."

"Don’t be careless. The Master said that in the apocalypse, facing anyone at any ti, we must stay vigilant. No one knows what anomalies might occur."

"Alright~ We’ll follow the Master’s orders," the woman coquettishly elongated her voice, her tone alluring, causing even the woman sitting in front to shiver involuntarily.
