Chapter 355: The most dangerous part is this final stretch

During the Ice Age, Noah’s Ark was no longer suitable for survival.

The entire Vanguard Alliance, with more than six thousand mbers, had no choice but to leave the place they had called ho for so long.

They were relocating to the renowned Dawn City.

So people were filled with anticipation and hope.

Undoubtedly, Dawn City offered the greatest security.

Others, however, felt a sense of unease and concern.

Alex’s infamous reputation was widespread.

They feared that Alex’s cruelty might make survival under his rule extrely difficult.

However, their leader, Keith, had already decided to head to Dawn City.

Whether they were willing or not, they had no choice but to go to Dawn City.

Unwilling?

Could you survive on your own if you left the main group?

The chances were slim.

Fortunately, for the Vanguard Alliance, the journey so far had been relatively smooth.

The weather had been favorable, with several days of clear skies.

Without the hindrance of snow and wind, their progress was noticeably faster.

They had quickly covered more than half the distance.

“It’s amazing that we haven’t had snow or strong winds for a couple of days. Our luck is really sothing!”

“With just one more day, we should be nearly at Dawn City!”

“Once we reach Dawn City, we can not only stay in warm houses and rest properly but also settle down completely without worrying about Snow Beast attacks!”

Keith and his subordinate, looking at the map, were in good spirits.

Ideally, there would be no more snow or wind.

Even if heavy snow or strong winds did occur, they were confident they could handle it!

At this mont, the lieutenant reminded him, “We’re approaching the vast plains. We just need to cross this expanse to reach Dawn City.”

“However, based on the information we’ve received, there are many Snow Beasts on the plains, so we need to stay highly alert.”

Hearing this, Keith’s expression grew a bit serious.

“I understand.”

“The most dangerous part is this final stretch.”

“But we have no choice but to cross it directly.”

“Taking a detour would add at least another week to the journey, making it even more dangerous!”

“Pass the word down: everyone must remain highly vigilant and cross the plains as quickly as possible!”

“Once we’re through, we’ll be completely safe and won’t have to worry about survival anymore!”

The lieutenant stood straight.

“Yes, sir!”

Keith hesitated for a mont, deep in thought.

In the end, he decided to contact Alex first.

After all, he was about to arrive at Dawn City.

Regardless, he needed to let Alex know.

“Let’s contact Mr. Alex first. Given Alex’s character, he’s unlikely to refuse.”

Keith then found Alex’s ID and sent a private ssage.

“Hello, Boss Alex. I was a survivor in City No. 25. When the Ocean Era arrived, I was fortunate enough to gain so opportunities and eventually beca the leader of a small alliance.”

“However, our strength is ultimately limited. After entering the Ice Age, we didn’t make it into the top 100 globally and didn’t receive a city-building order.”

“Before this, everyone in our alliance lived on the Noah’s Ark. But as the threat from the snow beasts grew, we had to find a new ho.”

“To ensure everyone’s survival, I chose Dawn City!”

“Now, my team is not far from Dawn City. I sincerely hope that Boss Alex can provide us with a place to stay!”

“Lastly, I, Keith, vow to serve Boss Alex faithfully, with no second thoughts or complaints!”

After sending the ssage, Keith felt a bit anxious.

After all, this was his first ti communicating with Alex.

At the sa ti, he was worried that Alex might not read his ssage.

Or, even if he did, whether Alex would agree to his request.

“Huh?”

“Boss Alex replied to ?”

Keith was montarily stunned.

Because Alex actually replied to him.

And the speed was so fast that calling it an imdiate response would be no exaggeration!

Then, he felt a huge surprise!

It was as if he was overwheld with joy.

Alex’s reply was very simple, just two words.

“Sure.”

But for Keith, it was an enormous relief!

Keith imdiately replied, “Thank you for your acceptance. I sincerely thank you on behalf of the 6,000 mbers of Vanguard Alliance!”

“In the future, when we enter Dawn City, these 6,000 people will unconditionally and absolutely obey your orders! I will also find my own place and will not be presumptuous!”

On the other side.

Seeing Keith’s private ssage, Alex couldn’t help but laugh.

“The term ‘Boss’ feels so endearing.”

“I didn’t expect that even after such a long ti, soone would still refer to as Boss.”

“This Keith is also quite lucky. He was inconspicuous in East 8 Zone, but in the Ice Age, he directly beca the leader of a small alliance.”

“His experience is a bit of a small legend.”

“Want to co to Dawn City? Of course, you can. It will help strengthen Dawn City’s power!”

Then he replied, “Once you arrive in Dawn City, don’t worry too much. As long as you follow the rules and regulations of Dawn City, you can continue to manage your own people.”

Previously, Alex had to strip the leaders and rulers of various alliances of their power because those individuals were not genuinely loyal to him. Moreover, the large number of people they brought with them gave the impression of occupying and taking over.

Thus, he had to impose so restrictions.

But now, such asures were no longer necessary.

On one hand, Keith’s attitude was acceptable.

On the other hand, Keith was not very strong, and his group was not too large.

If he had any ill intentions, it would be easy to eliminate him.

Therefore, letting him manage his own 6,000 people would actually create fewer problems.

After saying this, Alex thought for a mont and added,

“The snow plains outside Dawn City have frequent snow beast activity. You should be extra cautious.”

“However, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. The snow beasts are usually solitary and don’t pose a significant threat. If you encounter any unsolvable crises, feel free to contact .”

For Alex, this was just a routine reminder.

But for Keith, it was a shiver of excitent.

He was so thrilled that he didn’t know what to say.

In the end, he could only reply briefly, “Thank you for the reminder, Boss!”

Soon, their communication ended.

With no more worries, Keith stepped out of the makeshift tent and ordered his team to set off again towards Dawn City.

As far as the eye could see, the ice plains seed endless.

The snow on the ground was incredibly deep.

Fortunately, the weather was good at the mont—no wind or snow.
