Chapter 35: New Business Opportunity, Selling Ice Pops
Alex spotted a new business opportunity in the chat channel.
Survivors now are all troubled by this scorching weather.
With his own refrigerator, he could make ice pops himself and then sell them to the survivors!
He wasn’t worried at all about not being able to sell the ice pops.
With so many survivors, there will always be soone unable to resist the heat and buying ice pops to cool down.
Alex imdiately called Mia and, after explaining the idea, happily began to prepare to mass-produce simple ice pops.
Simply pouring cola or other beverages into the homade box molds, then casually placing wooden sticks in them, and adjusting the refrigerator temperature to the lowest.
It didn’t take long before a large box of ice pops was ready.
Alex opened the chat channel.
ID 10086: “Guys, do you want ice pops? (Attached a picture of ice pops)”
ID 348458: “No need, no need, shouldn’t, at least can’t, damn it, are you here to attract hatred again?! 10086!”
ID 834674: “Normally in the sumr, I love eating ice pops the most, please, 10086, give an ice pop! Good people will have a peaceful life!!”
ID 34582: “I’ll call you daddy, can I have an ice pop?”
…
ID 10086: “Stop with the useless chatter, I’ve put them on the trading platform, you can buy them there.”
So survivors even privately ssaged Alex.
ID 34543: “Hey, big brother, I’ll show you sothing nice, how about giving two ice pops in return…”
Later, Alex received a photo from that survivor.
Extrely provocative.
The survivor pulled down the neckline of their shirt, revealing ample cleavage.
Unfortunately, Alex remained unmoved, even chuckled.
He thought she was the sa as before, the Alex who used to joke around with friends in the group for a mysterious link.
Thinking she could buy him with so sexy pictures.
With a playful attitude, Alex sent a ssage to the survivor, saying, “What can I see from this? Take it off.”
What he didn’t expect was that this female survivor was only after a few ice pops and really sent him an indecent photo.
Obviously, she was well-versed in this tactic, not the first ti she exchanged her body for goods.
Otherwise, she would have hesitated at least.
Not long after, the other party even sent a short video.
In the video, she kept touching herself and moaning provocatively, saying, “Hey, if you want to eat so other sticks, that’s not impossible…”
Alex watched the plain face of this stranger in the video, feeling no emotional fluctuations at all, even wanting to shut it off directly.
But he still wanted to promote his product: “Hehe, is that all? If you want ice pops, let’s trade with resources. Seeing how hard you’re bargaining, I can give you a discount.”
ID 34543: “Damn it! Why didn’t you say so earlier, wasting my ti!”
Alex just replied with a smiley face and didn’t say much.
Not exactly angry, but even a little contemplative.
Encountering this kind of situation for the first ti, where goods were exchanged for favors, it felt a bit strange.
Perhaps, this was just a common problem among n.
Leading virtuous won astray, urging fallen won to reform.
In this world, it’s not about who’s right or wrong, just different ways of living.
Alex suddenly reached out and patted Mia’s head, who was earnestly scanning through the trading platform for deals, and said, “Still, having a wife at ho is better…”
Hearing Alex’s inexplicable sentint, Mia blushed a bit.
“Who’s your wife, I haven’t agreed to that yet.”
Although they hadn’t known each other for many days, the two naturally ca together.
After all, in the end-of-days world, emotions ignited like a wildfire, catching on instantly.
No matter the future, if they wanted to be together, they naturally would be.
In the past, adult relationships carried too much burden.
Marriage, houses, raising children.
The heavy burden could crush young people.
But in the end-of-days world, Alex and Mia didn’t need to consider these things, didn’t need to care about their past identities and class differences.
Here, they could reveal themselves to each other without reservation, relying on each other.
Alex smiled and said, “Nothing, just a girl sent so provocative pictures wanting to exchange them for ice pops, I didn’t even look and just brushed her off, impressive, right?”
Mia rolled her eyes.
“Alex, I’ve noticed your cheekiness is increasing…”
Alex laughed heartily and hugged Mia.
“Haha, is it? I didn’t notice.”
Rather than saying Alex’s cheekiness was increasing, it’s more like in front of Mia, he showed his true self.
If possible, Alex even thought, in the zombie world, finding a utopia with Mia, farming and weaving together, wouldn’t that be nice?
Unfortunately, such beautiful visions can only exist in fantasies.
After the extre heat passed, Alex and Mia plunged back into the intense battle of gathering resources.
With more and more survivors coming to the villa area where Alex and Mia were, Alex beca increasingly aware of the great crisis ahead.
Alex knew that once there were more survivors, one day, he would be attacked by the masses.
With his abundant resources, he was like a boss in a ga that needed players to team up to defeat.
Defeating him would drop all the resources.
The fortified walls, the P92 pistol, the gasoline generator, and even Mia, everything would be taken by others.
This outco was unacceptable to Alex.
So, Alex showed a more nervous and urgent attitude than before, just to collect more, better, and more useful resources.
So that he could withstand the danger when it ca.
Out in the wild, a few zombies were lured by Mia with crossbow bolts, only to suddenly fall to the ground.
Blood flowed from the back of their skulls.
Alex erged from behind several zombies.
Since Alex learned the skill of concealnt, Mia was responsible for attracting the attention of a few zombies in front, while Alex approached to shoot or stab.
Due to the close range, Alex’s accuracy skyrocketed.
This greatly increased their efficiency in hunting zombies.
Mia walked over and asked, “Alex, do we need to continue?”
Alex glanced at the ti and shook his head.
“No, let’s go back. It’s almost noon and we need to replenish our lunch supplies. Let’s go back to the villa and rest.”
On the way back, Mia looked at the contents of the chat channel and joked, “It seems like 10086, who has been causing everyone trouble lately, has fallen out of favor. No one has ntioned you much these days. Unlike a few days ago when everyone was cursing you, really annoying.”
Alex held the steering wheel, indifferent, and said, “It’s good to be quiet. It just happens to decrease our attention. Let’s take this opportunity to gather more resources.”
“But, I’m still curious. Is that guy called the Sheriff really that powerful?”
Mia smiled and said, “Even if he is, he’s not as powerful as you.”
Alex enjoyed Mia’s affirmation.
No man would be unsatisfied with praise from his own woman.
Maintaining a calm deanor, Alex said, “Well, indeed.”
