Chapter 266: he felt foolish

At that mont, Mia and Olivia had been standing beside Alex all along.

Seeing him suddenly pull out a bottle of drink, both of them paused in surprise.

Because the bottle in Alex’s hand looked strangely familiar.

But perhaps because it had been so long, they were montarily bewildered.

Then, watching Alex gulp down the entire bottle with a satisfied expression on his face, they finally realized.

“Hey hey hey, you actually have cola! I want so too!” Mia couldn’t help but exclaim.

She promptly snatched it from Alex’s hand.

Only to find the bottle empty.

Disappointnt flashed in her eyes.

“Don’t worry, I’ve got plenty of these!” Alex laughed and pulled out several bottles of cola.

“Oh, no, this taste, it’s so refreshing!” Mia exclaid after taking a big sip, showing a satisfied look.

This amused both Olivia and Alex.

Suddenly, Alex grinned mysteriously. “Perhaps I’ve found a new business opportunity, hehe…”

The business opportunity he referred to was the cola he had just acquired.

Olivia seed pensive.

Then she nodded slowly, saying with a smile, “Indeed, cola could very well be a best-selling product. After all, regardless of anything else, cola once dominated the beverage market. Many people love it!”

Alex nodded in agreent.

“Of course. I bet these folks can’t resist cola once they see it again after so long!”

After saying this, Alex added mysteriously, “And I’ve got an ace up my sleeve!”

This imdiately piqued the curiosity of the two won.

“What ace up your sleeve?!”

“Instant noodles! Cola with instant noodles is an unbeatable combination!” Alex declared. “Most survivors might resist the temptation of instant noodles or cola alone, but they won’t stand a chance against cola with instant noodles!”

Finish off the noodles and then take a sip of cola.

It’s unbelievably good!

Alex had a feeling that cola and instant noodles would lead to a significant amount of trading.

Just then, Alex suddenly rembered.

Yesterday afternoon, soone had asked him if he could lower the price of instant noodles.

“I can’t believe it. They thought five experience points was expensive, and now that I’ve raised it to ten, are they trying to rob my ancestors’ graves?” Alex silently complained.

So he opened the trading platform.

Only to find out that the over forty boxes of instant noodles he had listed were all gone, sold out.

“Indeed, the price was still quite low. Instant noodles are still popular!” Alex thought to himself.

However, the next mont, his expression turned strange.

Because things were not as simple as they seed.

Under the listings, there were nurous ssages from buyers.

Accusing him of price gouging and stating that instant noodles were too expensive.

These comnts left Alex scratching his head.

To the point where he seriously wondered, are five experience points really that expensive?

Co on!

They’re actually quite cheap, aren’t they?

Then, when Alex saw the experience points he gained from the backend transactions, he blinked slightly.

Wait a minute…

These experience point data seems off?

“Ah, damn it, I ssed up!” Alex suddenly realized.

Instantly, he felt foolish.

“I accidentally set the price from five experience points to fifty experience points!”

Alex finally understood why that person had sent him a private ssage.

However, it was too late to change anything now.

At least everything had been sold, so no losses there.

Next, Alex adjusted the price of instant noodles.

He set it at twenty-five experience points per box.

Then, he listed the cola.

Two experience points per bottle.

This ti, Alex planned to sell in volu.

He had no other choice.

Survivors nowadays knew the importance of experience points.

They clung to their points like a miser.

It wasn’t easy to wrest them away.

Thankfully, the entire East District was open, and there were still plenty of people. Buyers were not lacking.

Soon, a new trading ssage appeared on the sales platform.

“Shocking! Instant noodle prices slashed by fifty percent! Your favorite cola now only costs two experience points!”

At this mont, Wright was enjoying his noodles, humming a tune.

“Ah, still tastes good, that unforgettable flavor!” Wright sighed.

However, after finishing, he felt a bit regretful.

This stuff was too expensive, almost a luxury.

It didn’t feel worth it.

For survivors today, experience points were still precious.

Unless necessary, they wouldn’t trade away large amounts.

Soon, as usual, Wright opened the trading platform to see if there were any good finds.

Wait!

Instant noodle prices slashed by fifty percent?

“Wow, it’s actually cheaper! They were so arrogant yesterday, how co they’re lowering prices today?”

“Could it be my words yesterday had an effect?”

Wright pondered.

Little did he know, Alex’s price adjustnt had nothing to do with his words. It was simply because Alex had realized his pricing mistake.

Then suddenly, Wright widened his eyes.

“Wait, what’s this? Cola? Damn! It really is cola!”

Stunned, Wright stared at the trading information, unconsciously licking his lips.

At first, he thought he might be seeing things.

But soon, he confird it was indeed cola!

“Damn! It’s really cola! I haven’t had cola in ages!”

Thinking about the taste of cola, Wright couldn’t help feeling nostalgic.

Especially when cola was paired with instant noodles, it was incredibly refreshing!

“The price of cola isn’t too bad either!”

Wright thought for a mont.

Deciding, he purchased a batch of instant noodles and cola.

Quickly, he ssaged Alex directly, “Bro, how much instant noodles and cola do you have? I need quite a bit.”

Soon after, he received a reply.

“I have plenty. Whatever quantity you need, I’ve got it. Just hope your experience points are enough!”

Seeing this response, Wright felt reassured.

“Wow, seems like he’s got a lot in stock to talk like that!”

Then, he said, “Alright, give twenty boxes of noodles and two hundred bottles of cola first!”

With these noodles and cola, Wright figured they’d last him quite a while.

A total of nine hundred experience points!

“Nine hundred experience points, that’s quite a lot! But it’s not really a loss!”

Wright felt a twinge of pain as he spent the experience points.

Nine hundred experience points would take quite so ti to accumulate.

However, noodles and cola were consumables and quite popular.

If he didn’t purchase them now, he might miss out entirely!

Though he felt the sting, he didn’t regret his decision or see any fault in it.

Soon enough, his backpack was filled with various flavors of instant noodles and bottles of cola.
