After double-checking, she confird it wasn’t an illusion.
Olivia also noticed the ssage and was equally surprised.
“The battle was so intense before, with those zombies charging relentlessly as if they would never stop, and now they suddenly retreated?!”
Olivia was just as shocked by the outco.
But the facts were undeniable!

Why did this happen?

It had to be Alex! No one else could have achieved this!
Surely, Alex killed the zombie lord.
Without command, the zombies lost their fighting spirit.

Skylar was stunned when he received the frontline report.
His first thought was of Alex.
Only the death of the zombie lord could cause the zombie horde to retreat!
Who else could have done it but Alex? Clearly, no one else!

Before Alex could speak, they eagerly started talking.
Alex couldn’t help but laugh.
However, he patiently reassured them, “Don’t worry, I’m fine.”
“I told you, the zombie lord wouldn’t be a match for . At worst, I could escape. There’s no need to worry about . You two are just overthinking!”
“It’s not overthinking! We were afraid you’d act recklessly and get into trouble. What if sothing went wrong?!” they retorted.
Alex could only nod repeatedly, admitting his fault.
Looking back, his actions were indeed risky.
If the Petrification ability had failed or if the zombie lord had broken free when he ignited the flas…
