Chapter 206: Saturation Attack

Soon, ten minutes had passed.

Alex reached the target location.

At this mont, a massive horde of zombies followed behind him, numbering nearly five thousand.

This was an incredibly terrifying number.

Among them, the level 2 zombies were noticeably larger.

Especially the three level 3 zombies, which looked like small mountains.

Before long, Mia and Olivia saw a tank speeding toward them from a distance.

Zombies leaped onto the tank, but were quickly thrown off or crushed into pulp.

Behind the tank, an endless sea of zombies stretched out.

“Oh my God, why are there so many zombies?”

“How many are there? At least five or six thousand, right?”

“Alex is amazing! He managed to attract so many zombies. If anything goes wrong, the consequences will be unimaginable!”

“Indeed, there’s a lot of risk. But Alex must have a way to handle any unexpected situations.”

Mia and Olivia watched the distant scene, feeling a sense of incredulity.

They were actually quite far from Alex, yet they could clearly see the vast horde of zombies following him, which was even more shocking.

Olivia turned to Mia with a smile, “First ti using such a big weapon, are you nervous?”

“Not nervous, actually a bit excited!” Mia replied with an embarrassed smile.

“ too.”

The two won glanced at each other and laughed.

At that mont, Alex’s voice ca through.

“I’ve reached the designated spot, and the zombies are in the ambush zone. Fire in ten seconds.”

Alex’s voice was urgent.

The two won imdiately sobered up and looked into the distance.

Sure enough, thousands of zombies had entered the strike range of the rocket launchers.

In front of the zombie horde, the tank suddenly stopped, and a figure quickly exited, stowing the tank into a backpack.

The next mont, Alex disappeared from the spot.

At this instant, all the zombies lost their target and stopped.

They roared and howled, seeming confused and disoriented.

Alex had moved so smoothly and disappeared so quickly, leaving thousands of zombies in chaos.

“Ten!”

“Nine!”

“Eight!”

“Three!”

“Two!”

“One!”

“Fire!”

Mia and Olivia pressed the launch buttons almost simultaneously.

In the next mont! Boom! Boom! Boom! …

Rocket after rocket shot into the sky like dragons, soaring upwards!

In the blink of an eye, dozens of rockets were launched.

The rapid firing of the rockets resembled a machine gun burst! The scene was spectacular!

And after just five or six seconds…

The rockets precisely landed among the horde of zombies in the distance! Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom! In an instant, a large area was engulfed in flas.

In a flash, countless zombies were consud by fire, and many were torn to pieces.

Only the level 2 and level 3 zombies could withstand the first wave of rocket explosions! However, soon, the second wave of rocket saturation bombardnt arrived!

Nurous rockets filled the sky, densely packed, and fell together.

In an instant, the area with the zombies was engulfed by rockets again! This is what saturation attack is! Rocket accuracy may be poor, but it’s perfect for wide-area bombardnt.

These densely packed zombies were the best targets! Soon, the second wave of rockets arrived.

Even the level 2 zombies couldn’t withstand it.

When everything finally quieted down and the smoke cleared.

The entire area was in ruins.

The ground was pockmarked with craters.

Everywhere, there were broken corpses and dark blood flowing.

At this mont, the vast majority of zombies had been eliminated.

Only a few had narrowly escaped the bombardnt, but they were barely clinging to life.

Mia and Olivia, having arrived on the scene, quickly finished them off with a few precise shots.

Besides these stragglers, the only survivors were the three level 3 zombies.

Level 3 zombies possessed incredibly tenacious life forces.

So, despite the damage, they were relatively intact.

However, they were still heavily injured.

Even the most resilient bodies couldn’t remain unscathed after multiple rocket bombardnts!

“Roar!”

“Roar!”

“Roar!”

At this mont, the three zombies were exceptionally furious.

They roared at Mia, Olivia, and Alex.

In truth, their intelligence wasn’t low.

Naturally, they understood that these humans had tricked them, which made them extrely angry.

“Consider it an honor to die by our hands!”

Alex scoffed, stepping forward.

With his critical-hit katana, he swiftly decapitated the three level 3 zombies.

The heavily injured zombies stood no chance against Alex and were easily dispatched.

Alex then crushed their skulls with his fists.

Soon, he retrieved three luminous, milky-white Originiums from the remains.

These were three Originiums, signifying three evolution points!

“Finally, I have obtained three Originiums, which ans three evolution points. With this, I finally have ten evolution points!” Alex was quite exhilarated at this mont.

“Ten evolution points can upgrade one of my abilities by one level.”

“It’s been incredibly difficult to gather these ten points.”

“Indeed, the difficulty is imnse. Only level 3 zombies have Originiums, and level 3 zombies are often very formidable!” Mia and Olivia remarked from the side.

Over these past days, they had co to understand clearly that hunting level 3 zombies was no easy task.

“Alex, which ability are you planning to upgrade?” Olivia asked suddenly. “Actually, I think you should prioritize upgrading [Teleportation].”

“After all, this ability currently provides you with the most assistance and is the most frequently used. Plus, teleportation is your most crucial survival skill, almost ensuring your safety.”

Alex nodded.

“I agree. No matter what, this ability can always help at critical monts. Whether in combat, assassination, or survival, it’s the best. Compared to it, Pyrokinesis and Invisibility are less crucial.”

This was a conclusion he had reached after much deliberation.

Teleportation was an ability he heavily relied on.

“When are you going to upgrade the ability? I can hardly wait,” Mia asked eagerly, her excitent showing clearly on her face.

“Don’t rush. Let’s first tally up our experience points,” Alex reminded.

They had killed a significant number of zombies over the past days but hadn’t conducted an accurate tally.

Soon, the three of them had calculated a rough number.

In this large-scale zombie annihilation battle with the rocket launchers, Alex and his team had eliminated nearly six thousand zombies in one go.

Among them, one-fifth were level 2 zombies.

Thus, just from this battle, they gained over seven thousand experience points.

Adding the kills from the previous three days…

During their ti in the western district, the trio had collectively hunted nearly twenty thousand zombies.

The total experience points they had amassed ca to over twenty-seven thousand.

“Adding what we had left from before, we have a total of thirteen thousand.” Alex summarized.

He had already decided that in a little while, he would level up again.

But for now, there was no imdiate hurry.

“Alright, I’m going to upgrade my ability now,” Alex announced.

He then focused his attention on his personal interface.

“Upgrade the ability [Teleportation]!”

With that thought, ten evolution points instantly disappeared, and [Teleportation] successfully advanced to level 2.

“Is there any change?” Mia asked curiously.

Olivia also looked at him with great interest.

However, at this mont, Alex didn’t seem to show any noticeable change.

Unlike leveling up, evolving an ability didn’t cause any apparent commotion.

“Changes? I’m not entirely sure yet. I only know that [Teleportation] has been upgraded to level 2. The specifics will require so testing,” Alex replied, shaking his head.

As soon as he finished speaking, his figure disappeared from sight.

“Huh? Where did Alex go?” Mia exclaid, wide-eyed.

“Alex’s teleportation has a limited range, usually no more than thirty ters. He should be around here sowhere!” Olivia responded quickly.

Mia nodded repeatedly.

“That makes sense. Let’s find him then. He can’t have gone far!”

With that, the two won started looking for Alex.
