The temperature inside the safe house is rapidly rising. Before long, it feels like a massive oven. Ulva's body seems to be getting cooked.

"Get ready to open the door!" Waldo says in a deep voice, following the system's instructions. Outside, the monsters are actually transford bodies of past challengers. However, they are much stronger than the survivors.

Typically, regular challengers wouldn't stand a chance against these creatures.

However, the monsters have a fatal weakness—they fear fire. It's difficult to kill them through other ans because in the darkness, they are not only exceptionally powerful but also nourished by the mysterious energy floating in the air.

Once injured, they quickly recover, making them nearly impossible to kill unless the opponent is significantly more powerful. Only fire can restrain them, and Waldo happens to possess the ultimate ability [Fire Control].

"Open the door!" Waldo commands. Tristan pulls the door, and suddenly, he is thrown against the wall by a powerful force.

A massive figure appears outside the door, with crimson eyes larger than lanterns. The enormous body squeezes into the relatively narrow space, breathing heavily with a deep, coarse sound. It exudes a terrifying aura, incredibly evil, full of violence and slaughter.

As Tristan opens the door, the monster extends a huge pale hand, attempting to kill Waldo at the doorway.

However, Waldo is not one to be killed so easily. At this mont, he is prepared, and his aura reaches its peak. He unleashes powerful flas, resembling a flaming war god, erupting like a volcano, burning everything.

"A tiny monster trying to kill ? Die!"

"Die!" Waldo roars.

The entire safe house is filled with flas, turning into a fiery abyss. The pale hand reaching out suddenly pauses. Subsequently, the large-sized monster emits a strange cry.

"Squeak!"

The sound is exceptionally sharp and piercing. Following this, Waldo, holding a long spear, charges towards the monster.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Like nurous explosions of dynamite, roars and explosions resound continuously. The intense battle causes the safe house to tremble. The walls around are heated to a glowing red due to Waldo's flas.

"Kill!"

Waldo's face is solemn. He can sense the terrifying aura emanating from the monster, even stronger than his own. However, Waldo remains composed and unafraid because he is confident in defeating the monster.

His thods are diverse, and the monster is powerless against him. Additionally, with his mastery of the max-level ability [Fire Control], he naturally has the upper hand, capable of completely suppressing the opponent.

"Kill, kill, kill!!!"

Waldo roars in madness. The monster in front of him has almost no defense capability and quickly succumbs, barely clinging to life.

"This... this... this... such terrifying strength!"

Inside the safe house, Tristan's face turns pale. Despite his robust physique and considerable strength, witnessing the intense energy fluctuations from Waldo's battle with the monster leaves him with a sense of fear and trepidation.

Especially the formidable flas on Waldo's body. Even though the flas haven't touched him and there's a considerable safety distance, Tristan still feels his soul as if being scorched, experiencing a tingling sensation. This makes Tristan's face even paler.

"I never expected Waldo's strength to be so terrifying. At first, I thought his strength was similar to mine, and I believed I could catch up quickly. Then, one day, I could seek revenge! But now..."

Tristan's heart is ashen. Various thoughts in his mind are quickly extinguished.

Waldo's strength is much more formidable than Tristan had imagined.

What Tristan is unaware of is that, even at his peak strength after fully erupting and awakening his most powerful bloodline, he is at most comparable to the main god of the underwater giants. However, Waldo can effortlessly overpower three gods of the sa level!

This wide gap between them is like an unbridgeable chasm. However, can Waldo defeat a monster with such strength?

A hint of concern appears on Tristan's face. He is well aware of how terrifying the monster's strength is, especially considering the clear explanations provided by the system. Even if Waldo can defeat or kill the monster, what price will he have to pay?

The strength of the monster is formidable, and killing it might not be an easy task for Waldo. It's likely far from simple.

In contemplation, Tristan's expression changes slightly.

"Master, did you successfully kill the monster?" Tristan's face undergoes several changes, and finally, he opens his mouth with a shocked expression.

The intensely fierce battle suddenly calms down. The endless flas disappear. Waldo, covered in dark fresh blood, holds a massive severed head in his hand—a grotesque and mutilated head.

"It's done," Waldo sighs in relief, a hint of satisfaction in his expression. To be honest, this monster is the most powerful opponent he has encountered, even stronger than the main god of the underwater world he faced before. In this battle, Waldo used almost all of his abilities, except for the [Stop the World] ability.

Finally, he managed to kill it. Only Waldo can truly appreciate the level of danger involved.

As for Tristan, there's no way for him to know. In Tristan's eyes, Waldo has killed the monster in a short ti, and at least on the surface, he seems unhard.

This is an extrely frightening thing. Tristan's speculations about Waldo's strength elevate to another level. Is this guy an ordinary challenger? Tristan keeps shaking his head.

In the following monts, Tristan becos even more respectful towards Waldo, avoiding any missteps.

Moreover, he personally lends a hand in dealing with the monster's corpse, despite how disgusting it may be. During the process, Tristan's eyes suddenly light up. He discovers a beautifully shimring, pristine white light above the monster's corpse—a treasure chest.

"Is it a supply chest?" Tristan is montarily stunned. A hint of greed flashes in his eyes, but he quickly conceals it. Excitedly, he says, "Master, co and see! There's a supply chest here!"

"A supply chest?" Waldo is taken aback. Upon seeing the chest, his eyes light up. It's a brand new chest, the first one Waldo has obtained since arriving in the dark realm. He wonders what kind of chest it is and what might be inside.

Hopefully, it's food!
