"Think it through before you speak! In addition, the Ninth General furrowed his brow and asked, "Have you thought of sothing or discovered sothing? Don't beat around the bush; just speak up and let everyone hear!"
Upon hearing this, the Fifth General nodded. He indeed had made a discovery. A suspicion had been lurking in his mind for quite so ti, and the battle last night had further confird his hunch.
"We've been in the Surface World for quite so ti now, but have any of you ever seen a person nad Waldo? I don't think so," he said.
Upon hearing this, everyone exchanged puzzled glances. They had only heard of Waldo's na and had battled him in the underwater world. However, despite their long stay in the Surface World, they hadn't caught even a glimpse of Waldo. But was there anything unusual about this?
"Waldo has always stayed in Dawn City, a city we can't even breach. So, isn't it normal not to have seen him?" soone remarked.
The Fifth General's point wasn't quite understood by many, but the other two demigods furrowed their brows in thought.
The Fifth General continued, "This is highly abnormal! If we hadn't reached Dawn City, and Waldo didn't appear, that would be understandable. However, we've already arrived at Dawn City and launched a large-scale assault."
"Waldo, as the lord of the city, has no reason not to appear. Moreover, with Waldo's power, he could easily have hunted us down when we were defeated. Yet, he didn't do so. Waldo has remained invisible from start to finish. This can only an one of two things: either there was never a person nad Waldo in Dawn City, or sothing has happened to him, preventing his appearance."
"Taking into account the events prior, where Waldo was defeated by the Supre God and promptly fled the underwater world, he likely sustained severe injuries."
"After returning to the Surface World, he relentlessly eliminated any opposition to showcase his unbeatable strength. However, does this not suggest that Waldo's injuries are extrely serious?"
"In order to prevent unforeseen circumstances, he swiftly dealt with the factions that opposed him to avoid future troubles."
The Fifth General's explanation was detailed and deliberate.
Word by word, it fell into the ears and minds of the people. At first, they felt sowhat okay, but as the Fifth General's explanations grew progressively profound, their emotions could no longer remain calm.
It began with small ripples, gradually spreading and amplifying. Ultimately, it stirred up a storm in the hearts and minds of the people.
The group of individuals, their eyes gleaming brightly, exclaid, "Yes! Everything about this situation is anything but ordinary! Our large army has reached Dawn City, and we're even launching an attack. How could Waldo remain indifferent all along? When he escaped from the Supre God in the underwater world, he likely suffered severe injuries.
His primary goal in returning to the Surface World was probably to eliminate opposing factions as a precaution!"
"With this, everything makes sense. I've been wondering why Waldo hasn't shown up, and now we have the reason!"
The people instantly had an epiphany. This Waldo very likely encountered so issues but had been concealing them.
The Ninth General hesitated for a mont and asked, "So, should we mobilize all our elite forces and attack Dawn City as the Second General suggested?"
The Sixth General responded, "Even though the situation is very likely as we've speculated, we can't be 100% certain. So, we should be as cautious as possible."
Others nodded in agreent. Indeed, they couldn't afford to be careless.
One of them proposed, "How about this: the rest of us provide cover, and the four of us enter Dawn City. If Waldo has any tricks up his sleeve, we can escape!"
Another added, "I agree! Once we enter Dawn City, we can directly eliminate their high-ranking mbers. With no leadership, Dawn City will crumble on its own!"
Soon, a decision was made.
On that evening, the night sky was filled with brilliant stars. However, whether it was the giant army's camp or Dawn City, both were brightly lit, illuminating the entire snowy world.
Nurous snow beasts lingered around the periter of the giant army but dared not approach, as they were intimidated by the aura emanating from the giant army.
Late at night, everyone remained alert, resisting the urge to doze off, and stayed vigilant against the potential return of the giant army.
"Stay focused! If anyone dares to slack off, don't bla for being rciless! Once I catch you, your life won't be yours anymore! Keep your spirits up! Stay attentive, and watch for any signs of the giants!"
On the city walls, nurous survivors brimd with determination, their eyes sharp, and their attention heightened. Nobody dared to slack off. The lesson from last ti, where a slacker paid with their life, remained fresh in everyone's mory.
Moreover, the survivors had witnessed the ever-changing sches of the giants, so they knew not to underestimate them. A lapse in concentration might cost them their lives and, potentially, endanger all the survivors.
Suddenly, a loud alarm sounded from atop the city walls.
"Oh no! The giant army is on the move!"
Everyone imdiately returned to their battle positions to face the formidable foe. "Hurry, hurry!"
"Listen up, everyone, be prepared for battle! Long-range artillery units, get ready, and be ready to follow my command! Drone units, all systems go! Launch the drone swarm for remote attacks! Anti-air units, be on guard and watch out for the enemy's chanical giants! Secure the sky and don't let them approach Dawn City's airspace!"
Roaring commands filled the airspace above Dawn City, resonating like thunder, reaching the ears of every survivor. In an instant, the entire Dawn City buzzed with activity.
Fortunately, everyone had ntally prepared for this. Consequently, they swiftly returned to their battle stations, fully prepared for the impending conflict.
"The damned Undersea Giants are back! Are they not afraid of death?" Calvert stood on the city wall, gazing into the distant snowy plains, his expression dark and grim.
Beside him, Silva wore a similarly gloomy expression. "I had thought that after suffering this setback, the giant army wouldn't dare to attack Dawn City again, at least not in the short term. I can't believe they are still coming. They truly have a death wish!"
"If they dare to co, we will certainly give them a warm welco! Let them co; we'll make sure they regret ever coming!" Silva's voice was cold, seething with boundless anger. "That's right. Dawn City is no pushover. They won't be able to chew through us, and they will undoubtedly be defeated!" Calvert added coldly.
anwhile, in the distance, the giant armies had swiftly assembled their forces in a very short amount of ti.
Soon, the army set out.
A thunderous roar filled the air as thousands of troops marched in perfect formation.
In an instant, the entire land seed to tremble as if an earthquake had struck. The fervor of battle burned brightly.
The colossal deities once again lood above the various legions. Their presence was intimidating. Even from a distance, they exerted imnse psychological pressure on the survivors atop the walls of Dawn City.
Fortunately, these survivors had already experienced and successfully defeated them once. As a result, they didn't beco distracted or lose their focus.
