anwhile, in the underwater world, a dark red moon still emitted its faint glow. Three red suns hung high in the sky of the underwater world, eternal and seemingly never to descend, just like the world itself, which had no changes between day and night.

In the vast and devastated land, nurous giants of unusual appearance searched for sothing. These giants varied in types,so were chanically modified giants, while others were genetically modified giants.

So had four arms, so had dark red skin covered in tumors, and so even had horns growing on their heads. Although genetically modified giants looked bizarre, their strength surpassed that of the chanically modified giants.

There was a clear distinction between chanical giants and genetic giants, and those who underwent genetic modification had their brains altered due to spending extended periods subrged in a solution underground.

They appeared nauseating to those who saw them from a distance.

Genetic modification, despite being the path chosen by most gods, was a difficult road, with only a few able to perfect it, while countless others ended up with flaws. When the modification failed, they turned into the grotesque beings they were, neither human nor ghost.

chanical modification seed better, at least, their brains remained normal.

The chanical giants whispered to each other, but they dared not speak loudly because if the genetically modified individuals heard them, it could lead to conflict, and the chanical giants were outnumbered and less powerful. They would surely suffer in such a confrontation.

At that mont, a deity exuding a powerful and majestic aura observed the genetic giants below, who were diligently searching for sothing.

The deity furrowed their brow and commanded, "Pay close attention, and report imdiately if you notice anything amiss!"

Everyone fell silent and focused, and all the giants beca as quiet as the grave.

The aura of the demigod was overwhelmingly oppressive to them. Although not long ago, the earth-shattering events in the underwater world had severely damaged the authority of the gods.

Most of the demigods were slaughtered, and even the supre high god was outwitted by an outsider. However, the authority of the gods remained unshaken, high and mighty.

When the gods were angry, they could turn the world upside down. The voice of the Fifth Warlord rolled like a tidal wave, spreading far and wide. Then, he departed to other areas, urging the other giants to search diligently.

So many days had passed, and they hadn't found anything. This didn't make sense! The Fifth Warlord was worried.

"It doesn't add up! If there's no supposed passage, how did those surface-dwelling humans arrive, and how did they leave?"

The main gods went to great lengths, even risking their own vitality to find those humans.

However, they were surprised to discover that those humans had already left this world, aning there must be so kind of passage to the surface world.

But it had been so long, and they still hadn't found it. If they couldn't find the passage soon, the main gods might not spare them.

At that ti, even the Void God and the Sun God's pleas would be useless. The Fifth Warlord's mood beca sowhat heavy.

And just at that mont, he suddenly looked ahead. There was a strange disturbance coming from that direction. He could then see in the distance, black storm clouds gathering in the sky.

anwhile, countless red beams of light converged in the surroundings, with various visions erging. Among these visions, there were boundless and turbulent seas, huge suns hanging in the sky, radiating endless brilliance.

There were roaring rivers and mighty mountains, stretching for miles and flowing into the sea. Giant serpents let out long cries, and various exotic creatures emitting noble auras appeared one by one.

Upon seeing this scene, the Fifth Warlord was stunned.

"What is this? We don't have this in our world! And that sun, it's completely different from our red sun, even larger and more inviolable, radiating a radiance that our red sun cannot match. Where do they co from? Is it the surface world?"

Boom!

The Fifth Warlord's mind shook, and his thoughts buzzed. At the sa ti, he widened his eyes, staring in disbelief at the unfolding scene.

Then, he received a large number of ssages from so nearby giants.

"Report, Lord God, we've made a discovery! There are strange occurrences here, suspected to be from the surface world!"

"We've found a pitch-black passage, and we don't know where it leads!"

"A passage to the surface world?! Have we actually found it?"

The Fifth Warlord's mind was suddenly shaken, and he couldn't remain calm anymore. Without a second thought, he accelerated rapidly, bursting forth like thunder, and the surroundings blurred before him in an instant.

Just a mont later, he had already reached the vicinity of the passage. Above his head, myriad visions manifested, filled with vibrant colors and various phenona. He felt a sense of enchantnt, and his heart was filled with fascination.

A massive, pitch-black passage, resembling a colossal vortex, appeared on the horizon. What lay on the other side of the vortex remained a mystery, a dark, foreboding void that seed to extend into the depths of the afterlife, inspiring awe and fear.

This should be the passage connecting the surface world to the underwater world, right? The Fifth Warlord's eyes shone with a peculiar light as he muttered, "And, this location is the closest to the Third Base. In the abandoned city not far from here, there are traces of surface-dwelling human activity.

There's no doubt that those surface-dwelling humans ca in through this passage and left from here."

At this mont, other underwater giants began to gather. So looked up in astonishnt at the phenona in the sky and the eerie, disconcerting passage.

In a mix of excitent and apprehension, the crowd gathered.

"You, co here!" The Fifth Warlord casually picked up one of the genetically modified giants and threw them into the dark vortex.

He added, "Go over there to investigate the situation, and if you find anything, report it imdiately."

The giant was tossed into the dark vortex as if it were a small chick and had no resistance.

Not long after entering the passage, a piercing, desperate scream echoed back.

The Fifth Warlord frowned.

"What's going on? Could there be so danger on the other side of the passage?"
