Waldo appeared to be very confident, seemingly unafraid of an attack from Ronald and his group. Seeing this, Alanna and Helen felt relieved. They knew that Waldo must have made appropriate arrangents and had a plan in place.
In fact, as they suspected, Waldo had already thought about this issue while preparing for the livestream. Ronald was an ambitious person, skilled in disguise and ruthless in nature.
For ordinary people, experiencing such a large-scale operation would inevitably leave them exhausted and their strength greatly diminished. This would be their mont of vulnerability, and Ronald wouldn't miss this golden opportunity.
Once missed, there might not be another chance. He and his Black Wolf Brigade would gradually fade into obscurity.
Waldo was certain that Ronald was likely to make a move against him at this mont. Therefore, Waldo had already contacted Delgado from the Guard Camp early on, instructing them to closely monitor Ronald and the movents of the Black Wolf Brigade.
The armored vehicle continued to advance. Soon, they would enter the city area. At this point, the speed of the armored vehicle gradually slowed down.
"What's going on?" Helen looked at Waldo with so confusion.
Alanna's eyes narrowed slightly as she asked, "Is it Ronald?"
Waldo nodded slightly but appeared relaxed and casual, showing no signs of nervousness.
"Exactly, we are about to enter the ambush set up by Ronald. However, what he doesn't know is that their every move has already been exposed," Waldo explained. Then he continued, "Helen, you take the wheel."
"Alright."
Afterward, Waldo and Helen swapped positions.
At this point, Waldo got in touch with Delgado from the Guard Camp.
Waldo: "Bert, how's everything I asked for?"
Delgado seed a bit displeased on the other end and said, "Heh, you kid, when it cos to the glamorous stuff, you don't call on us from the Guard Camp. You only rember us for the dirty and tiring work?"
His words carried a heavy tone of resentnt. Those who didn't know the truth might think there was sothing unsavory between Waldo and him.
Waldo sighed and said, "Yeah, yeah, it was my mistake this ti. Won't happen again! Delgado, how's everything going?"
Delgado laughed heartily on the other end and then said, "That guy Ronald, he's a bit naive after all. He thought he set a trap, but little does he know that every move of his has been monitored by our people. His every move and the whereabouts of his few n are firmly in my hands. Today is Ronald's doomsday!"
Hearing this, Waldo finally felt relieved. As long as he had Ronald's every move under control, whatever Ronald did wouldn't be a cause for concern.
At this mont, Delgado said, "Where are you now? Send your location."
"Okay." Waldo then sent his location to Delgado.
After checking the coordinates, Delgado imdiately said, "You co here first. Let's regroup, and then we'll strike Ronald's hideout together and wipe him out."
"Alright. But Bert, let's get one thing straight. You handle those small fries around Ronald, but leave the five deputy commanders of the Black Wolf Brigade and Ronald to . I'll take care of them," Waldo said.
Delgado took a mont to think and then nodded. "No problem. The five deputy commanders of the Black Wolf Brigade are all top 100 survivors, strong as they co. I wouldn't dare say I could defeat them, let alone dealing with Ronald. Only you have the confidence and the nerve for this."
Waldo chuckled and didn't say much more.
The armored vehicle continued to move forward and entered the urban area. At this mont, Delgado contacted Waldo again, "On the rooftop to your front right, there's a Black Wolf Brigade sniper. On the left rooftop of the building, there's a Black Wolf Brigade mber with a single-shot rocket launcher."
"Got it!"
Waldo calmly responded. He then retrieved an M200 sniper rifle from his backpack and rolled down the car window. He aid in the direction of the rooftop of the building to the right and fired a shot.
Bang!
Due to the suppressor attached to the rifle, the gunshot wasn't very loud. Moreover, the sound of the armored vehicle's engine masked it. In that mont, a bullet traveled through the various obstacles in the environnt.
In the next instant, a Black Wolf Brigade sniper who had been concealed on the rooftop of the building to the right had his head instantly splatter into a burst of blood. He died instantly.
His eyes widened in shock, not understanding why he had suddenly died. Who had fired the shot? Was it soone on the armored vehicle? But was there a rifle with such a long range and high accuracy?
He didn't know that Waldo was using the M200 sniper rifle, which actually had the longest range and highest shooting accuracy. His death was not unjust.
Just a mont ago, he had just finished a conversation with another mber in the adjacent building. They had agreed that when the armored vehicle entered the range of the sniper rifle, they would open fire together.
However, he ended up being the first to die, in a sudden and unexpected manner. He didn't even have a chance to send a warning.
"The second target, on the rooftop of the left building," Waldo thought to himself.
Quickly, the second bullet was chambered. At the sa ti, Waldo, with his extraordinary vision, spotted a figure on the rooftop of the left building.
"Daring to ambush here will co at a cost! Let's see if you have the luck to survive!" Waldo smirked coldly, his eyes filled with icy determination.
In the next mont, the M200 sniper rifle was aid.
Bang!
A bullet was fired. anwhile, on the distant rooftop of the left building, a Black Wolf Brigade mber with a rocket launcher was already prepared.
All he needed was for Waldo to enter their attack range, and he would not hesitate to launch a rocket, directly destroying the armored vehicle Waldo was in.
"I've waited too long for this mont! Waldo, as powerful as you are, can you withstand the power of a rocket?" The Black Wolf Brigade mber sneered.
He had disliked Waldo from the start, ever since Waldo had boldly killed Brigham and his group. He had developed a strong animosity towards Waldo.
This ti, he had willingly volunteered to take the risk of assassinating Waldo. As his prey approached, he grew increasingly excited. In his mind, Waldo, the strongest survivor, would et his end at his hands.
But then, for so reason, he felt an unprecedented sense of impending danger.
