Capítulo 682: Green Plum Wine

“Is this so high-quality Green Plum Wine, it’s got a really rich flavor, you want to try so?”

Su Yinhe was engrossed in her drama and had no idea that Chi Yan was thinking all sorts of weird things to himself.

Chi Yan fed her a piece, then ate a piece himself; it was a good thing Lin Murong hadn’t strolled over or else he would have cried out ‘dog abuse’ again.

His timing was impeccable, just as Su Yinhe finished the drama, the fruit also happened to be finished.

Everything was just perfect.

He always had excellent control over ti.

“Is it good?” Chi Yan asked her.

Su Yinhe still had the last piece of waterlon in her mouth.

She chewed, the waterlon was sweet, juicy, delicious. “Good.”

“Do you like it?” he asked again.

“Like it, of course, I like it. How could I possibly not like it?”

“I’ll make you another one next ti. Or, I could make a few more now, store them away, and whenever you feel like having so, you can just take them out…”

“No need, no need, you… don’t have to make so much. Don’t overdo it. It’d make feel bad.”

“It’s not hard work, just cutting so fruit, how could it be hard work.” Chi Yan stroked her head.

“I know, but, I just feel for you,” Su Yinhe said coyly.

Chi Yan’s gaze deepened as he looked at her.

“Alright, thank you. I really… really like you a lot.” He always found her so great, how could he not like her? His fondness for her was growing.

He desperately wanted to keep her all to himself.

Only for him to see.

No one else was allowed to.

She belonged to him alone.

But, he couldn’t do that, it would make her unhappy.

He didn’t want her to be unhappy, he wanted her to do whatever she wanted. To be happy.

“Ah… why… suddenly confessing again, it’s kind of embarrassing.” Su Yinhe touched her face, feeling it heat up.

How embarrassing.

“Don’t know. Maybe it’s because…” just too fond of you.

It was because he was too fond of her that he couldn’t restrain himself, the affection was always hard to contain.

“Alright, alright, I get it, I know what you’re about to say. Don’t say it.” She… was embarrassed. Truly embarrassed.

Chi Yan looked at her and chuckled softly.

“Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

Lin Murong ended up strolling over after all.

Thankfully, his timing was okay, he didn’t walk in on anything.

It was a close call, though.

“Yo, Galaxy, you’re really enjoying yourself, with dramas, snacks, milk tea, and a guy. And if I’m not mistaken, an empty fruit plate to boot,” Lin Murong said, glancing at Chi Yan.

His last comnt ca out with a peculiar intonation, obviously teasing.

Su Yinhe: “…”

“Heh, it’s alright. After all, I’m the boss, if I don’t enjoy myself, who will?” Su Yinhe raised an eyebrow at him.

Lin Murong: “…”

Well…. was he wrong?

“Hmm… what are you doing?” Su Yinhe couldn’t help but ask, watching Lin Murong’s strange behavior.

Lin Murong was actually…

…sniffing…

…the plate.

Yeah, the one that had held the fruit.

Was it that fragrant?

What a weird hobby.

“? I didn’t get to eat, so I can’t even sll it?” Lin Murong said with a mournful tone.

Su Yinhe: “…”

Okay, another story she didn’t know about.

Su Yinhe glanced at Chi Yan.

Sothing else must have happened between them.

“Nothing, he’s just not right in the head.” Although Su Yinhe didn’t say it out loud, he knew what she wanted to say, her gaze said it all.

Su Yinhe: “…”

Yep, diagnosis confird, they’re both a bit off.

In such a huge supermarket, she seed to be the only sane person.

They were all insane.

Only she was the epito of normalcy.

“You’re the abnormal one! Brother Chi, you’re slandering people!” Lin Murong was furious—not only had he missed out on the fruit platter, but now he was being slandered by Chi Yan.

This was too much.

“Whether it’s slander, you know best,” Chi Yan said, expressionless.

Lin Murong: “…”

Actually… it really wasn’t slander.

But…

His argunt wasn’t strong, yet he was full of bluster.

It didn’t matter.

“No way, you are slandering , and you need to apologize! Otherwise, I… I will…” Lin Murong stuttered, unable to finish his threat.

“Heh. Take your ti.” Chi Yan taunted.

“Hey! Galaxy! Do sothing about him.” Lin Murong, helpless against Chi Yan, turned to Su Yinhe for support.

Su Yinhe: “…” She didn’t really have any solutions, okay?

She couldn’t… confront Chi Yan. Besides, she didn’t want to confront him.

Su Yinhe’s eyes darted around, and she decided to target Lin Murong.

“Hey Lin Murong, do you want so fries?”

Lin Murong: “??? Sure…” Lin Murong was a bit nervous saying it.

It wasn’t that he was too full to eat; he ate quickly and digested fast.

He could eat right away.

But, Su Yinhe’s question sounded sohow ominous.

“Okay then, go peel so potatoes. I’ll make fries for you once they’re peeled,” Su Yinhe gestured a heart shape at him.

Lin Murong: “???”

“You’re making them personally?!!!!” Lin Murong’s voice was shrill.

“Yeah, touched, aren’t you?” Su Yinhe winked at him.

“Touched, very touched,” Lin Murong said, sowhat scared, “but actually, I don’t have to eat them.” It wasn’t that he didn’t want to peel potatoes; he was just a bit scared.

“Not eat? Why not? Why won’t you? Eat! You have to eat! How could you not? I’m personally making fries, and you don’t want to eat them?” Su Yinhe looked displeased.

“But… I wouldn’t dare trouble our boss with such a task. I can do it myself. I’m not that fond of fries.” He really didn’t like fries to begin with.

Lin Murong felt like crying.

“No, you like them now. Wait till I make them for you,” Su Yinhe patted his shoulder.

“Ah… okay then.” Lin Murong looked despondent, harboring a very bad premonition.

“There you go. Start peeling,” Su Yinhe gestured a heart shape at him again.

Lin Murong: “…”

Damn it.

He really didn’t want fries anymore.

But Su Yinhe was forcing him to want them.

Dammit.

He couldn’t even resist.

Lin Murong obediently went to peel the potatoes.

Su Yinhe felt she was very clever, avoiding an argunt without making a scene.

But, having sent Lin Murong off to peel potatoes, she had forgotten about Chi Yan.

As soon as Lin Murong left, Chi Yan was unhappy.

“You’re making fries for him?”

“Ah, yeah. What’s wrong?”

“I don’t agree,” Chi Yan was visibly upset.

“Why not? It’s just fries.”

“You haven’t made them for . You’re making them for him first,” Chi Yan complained.

“Ah, but… erm… you… don’t like this kind of stuff, right?” This kind of stuff, deep-fried, was Chi Yan’s least favorite.

“It’s not that I like it, but you made it.” Anything made by Galaxy, he would like.

“You… *cough cough cough*,” Su Yinhe was a little embarrassed.

“So… when they’re ready, you eat first, and Lin Murong can have the leftovers,” Su Yinhe suggested a solution.

Chi Yan was still not quite satisfied.
