Murong was outright defenseless.
"I’m defeated, I’m really defeated."
Murong downed two large bowls straight away.
Su Yinhe was engrossed in watching the drama, unaware that Chi Yan was thinking about all sorts of strange things by himself.
Chi Yan fed her a piece, then ate one himself, thankfully Murong wasn’t around to see this or she would have cried out "Stop the dog abuse!" once again.
His timing was just perfect, as Su Yinhe finished the show, the fruit was also finished.
Everything was just perfect.
He always had such good control over ti.
"Is it good?" Chi Yan asked her.
Su Yinhe still had the last piece of waterlon in her mouth.
She chewed, the waterlon was sweet, juicy, and delicious. "It’s good."
"Do you like it?" he asked again.
"Like it? Of course, I like it. How could I possibly not like it?"
"Then I’ll make another one for you next ti. Or, I can go make a few more now and store them in the space. When you feel like eating, just take one out..."
"No need, no need, you... don’t need to make so many. Don’t push yourself too hard. I’d feel really bad," she said.
"It’s not hard, just cutting so fruit. How could it be hard?" Chi Yan touched her head.
"I know, it’s just, I feel for you," Su Yinhe pouted coyly.
Chi Yan’s gaze deepened as he looked at her.
"Alright, thank you. I really... like you a lot." He always thought she was so great, how could he possibly not like her? His feelings for her were growing stronger.
He really wanted, desperately wanted to keep her all to himself.
To let only himself see her.
No one else was allowed to look.
She was his, and his alone.
But, he couldn’t do that, it would make her unhappy.
He didn’t want her to be unhappy; he wanted her to do whatever she wished. To be happy.
"Ah... why... suddenly confess again, it’s a bit embarrassing," Su Yinhe touched her face, feeling it warm up.
Really now.
"I don’t know. Maybe it’s because..." I like you too much.
Because he liked her so much, he couldn’t help himself, the affection was just uncontrollable.
"Alright, alright, I know, I know what you’re going to say. Don’t say it," she... was embarrassed. Really embarrassed.
Chi Yan watched her and chuckled softly.
"Alright, as you wish."
Murong road about and ended up here anyway.
Luckily, his timing was still good, and he hadn’t walked in on anything.
But it was a close call.
"Yo, Galaxy, you’re really enjoying yourself, with drama, snacks, milk tea, and a man. If I’m not mistaken, there’s also an empty fruit plate," Murong said, casting a glance at Chi Yan.
His last sentence was tinged with an obvious sarcastic tone.
Su Yinhe: "..."
"Hehe, it’s all good. After all, I’m the boss, right? If I don’t enjoy, who will?" Su Yinhe raised an eyebrow at him.
Murong: "..."
Well... that’s... correct?
"Hmm... what are you doing?" Su Yinhe asked, unable to restrain her curiosity at Murong’s strange behavior.
Murong was actually...
Sniffing...
the plate.
Yep, the one that had held the fruit.
Is it that fragrant?
What a weird hobby.
"? I didn’t get any, so I’m not even allowed to sniff it?" Murong said, sounding sowhat aggrieved.
Su Yinhe: "..."
Okay, yet another story she knew nothing about.
Su Yinhe looked at Chi Yan.
Sothing else must have happened between the two of them.
"No, he’s just not right in the head." Although Su Yinhe hadn’t spoken, he knew what she wanted to say; her gaze was very telling.
Su Yinhe: "..."
Hmm, the diagnosis is confird, both of them are not quite normal.
In such a big supermarket, she is the only normal person.
They are all abnormal.
Only she is the most normal.
"You’re the one who’s abnormal! Brother Chi, you’re slandering !" Murong was angry. He hadn’t even gotten to eat the fruit plate, and now he was being slandered by Chi Yan.
That’s too much.
"Whether it’s slander or not... you know it yourself," Chi Yan said expressionlessly.
Murong: "..."
It seed... maybe it wasn’t slander.
But...
He felt indignant, even if his argunt wasn’t strong.
Never mind that.
"No way, you’re slandering. Apologize! Otherwise, I... I will..." Murong tried to finish his sentence for a long ti but still couldn’t.
"Heh. Take your ti then," Chi Yan remarked.
"Hey! Galaxy! You do sothing about this," Murong, having no way to handle Chi Yan, turned to Su Yinhe for help.
Su Yinhe: "..." She didn’t really have a solution either.
She couldn’t... confront Chi Yan. Besides, she didn’t want to confront him.
Su Yinhe’s eyes darted around, and she decided to target Murong instead.
"Murong, do you want so French fries?"
Murong: "??? Sure..." Murong was a bit hesitant as he spoke.
It wasn’t because he was too full to eat more, as he ate quickly and digested quickly.
He would be able to eat again soon.
It was just that the way Su Yinhe asked felt sohow ominous.
"Ok then, go peel so potatoes. Once you’re done, I’ll make you so French fries," Su Yinhe gestured a heart with her fingers towards him.
Murong: "????"
"You’re personally going to make them?!!!" Murong shrieked.
"Yeah, isn’t it touching?" Su Yinhe winked at him.
"Touching, so incredibly touching," Murong said, a bit scared, "But, actually, I can go without eating them." It wasn’t that he didn’t want to peel the potatoes; he was just a bit frightened.
"Not eat? Why not? By what right do you not eat? Eat! You must eat for ! How can you not eat? I’m personally making French fries, and you don’t want to eat them?" Su Yinhe’s face took on an unpleasant look.
"But... I wouldn’t dare trouble our boss to do such a thing. I can do it myself. And I’m not that fond of French fries." He wasn’t really fond of them in the first place.
Murong wanted to cry "boo hoo".
"No, you love them now. Wait for to make them." Su Yinhe patted his shoulder.
"Ah... okay then," Murong had a somber look on his face, now with a very bad premonition.
"Good boy. Go peel them," Su Yinhe gestured a heart at him again.
Murong: "..."
Damn it.
He really didn’t want French fries anymore.
But Su Yinhe was forcing him to want them.
That was wicked.
And he couldn’t even resist.
Murong obediently went to peel the potatoes.
Su Yinhe felt she was very clever, quietly avoiding an argunt.
Only, after sending Murong to peel potatoes, she had forgotten about Chi Yan.
Once Murong left, Chi Yan beca unhappy.
"You’re making him French fries?"
"Ah, yes. What about it?"
"I don’t agree," Chi Yan was very displeased.
"Why not? It’s just French fries."
"You haven’t made them for . But you’re making them for him first," Chi Yan was still displeased.
"Ah, but... erm... you... don’t eat these types of things, do you?" Those deep-fried things, Chi Yan’s least favorite.
"I might not like them, but these are made by you," Chi Yan liked anything Galaxy made.
"You... *cough cough cough*." Su Yinhe was a bit embarrassed again.
"Well... once they’re done, you eat first, and Murong can have the leftovers," Su Yinhe proposed a solution.
Chi Yan was still not quite satisfied.
