Chapter 366: bubble tea

“Must you tornt ? Can’t you go tornt Chi Yan instead?” Su Yinhe asked him.

“I’m showing my affection for you, so I want to make it for you. Chi Yan gets nothing.”

“Thanks a lot.” Su Yinhe was once again at a loss for words.

“Oh, don’t ntion it. Co on, what would you like to drink?” Lin Murong acted as if he didn’t understand human speech.

Su Yinhe sighed, alright then.

Since he insisted on making her a drink, she could only indulge him.

“I want a bubble tea, without the bubbles or the tea.”

Lin Murong: “???”

Bubble tea without the bubbles or tea? What’s left then?

“Then…what is it?”

Lin Murong felt his CPU was overheating.

“Plain water, thanks.” Su Yinhe was overly polite.

Lin Murong: “…”

“I feel like you’re playing with .”

Su Yinhe stood up, grabbed a throw pillow, and started hitting Lin Murong’s head frantically over a dozen tis.

“Wasn’t it you who asked to tell you? I did. Now get to it.” Su Yinhe hit with all her might.

She wondered if she’d hit a little too hard.

By mistake, the pillow burst.

Lin Murong felt the pain too.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch, it hurts.” Lin Murong turned into a whiner, lanting to Su Yinhe.

“You’re so rough.”

“Tsk, go on, didn’t you say you were going to make bubble tea? Hurry up.”

After a beating, Lin Murong sulkily went to make Su Yinhe’s bubble tea.

Plain water without the bubbles and without the tea.

Very easy to make.

Just boil so water.

Lin Murong waited for the water to boil and cool down, then poured it into a tea cup.

After this step, he should have just packed it to give to Su Yinhe.

But after doing so, Lin Murong stopped and pondered for a few seconds.

He always felt that the task Galaxy had given him wouldn’t be that simple.

Then, he opened a packet of sugar, carefully added it and stirred.

With that much sugar, it wouldn’t dissolve right away, especially since he added so much.

Lin Murong stirred for a long ti before the sugar fully dissolved.

Then he packed this cup of sugary water and sent it up to Su Yinhe.

“Galaxy, your plain water is ready.” Lin Murong presented the sugary water to Su Yinhe as if it were a treasure.

The tea cup was transparent, revealing the color of the liquid inside.

Hm, transparent.

It looked like an ordinary cup of plain water.

There shouldn’t be any tricks.

Su Yinhe let down her guard and took a sip.

The next second, her facial expression froze.

Miscalculation.

A huge miscalculation.

She hadn’t anticipated that Lin Murong, the damn guy, could turn plain water into sothing tricky.

How much sugar had he added in there?

Was he trying to get rid of her?

“How is it, sweet isn’t it? I added sugar specially for you. Girls all like sweet things,” Lin Murong said, seeking praise with an expectant look.

Su Yinhe swallowed the cloyingly sweet sugar water, looking at him with a forced smile.

“Sweet, very sweet. Any sweeter and you could send Chi Yan away too.”

“Huh? What does this have to do with Chi Yan?” Lin Murong was utterly confused.

Seeing that he didn’t grasp her aning, Su Yinhe didn’t feel like explaining further.

Only Chi Yan could stomach such a cup of sugary water.

Su Yinhe set the syrup aside.

She didn’t plan on drinking any more.

If she did, she would get diabetes.

“What’s wrong? Not satisfied?” Lin Murong saw she wasn’t drinking and felt very disappointed.

“I can only say, I can’t say I’m satisfied,” Su Yinhe sighed.

“Why? This is a syrup I specially concocted for you,” Lin Murong couldn’t understand.

“For ? Why don’t you make one for Chi Yan? No, this must be made for Chi Yan,” she accused.

“This… what are you talking about. This is for you, Chi Yan doesn’t even deserve it.” Chi Yan beat him up every day, how could he possibly make one for Chi Yan.

Su Yinhe often suspected that she was just a stand-in.

Lin Murong claid every day to do things for her, but what he ended up making were always things that Chi Yan liked.

She suspected that Lin Murong was just using the excuse of treating her well to actually treat Chi Yan well.

She was just a shield.

Su Yinhe’s facial expression beca more and more bizarre.

The way she looked at Lin Murong grew increasingly strange.

Lin Murong: “!!!”

What’s with that look, Galaxy?

“Galaxy, can you stop looking at like that? I’m a bit scared,” Lin Murong coquettishly twirled his orchid fingers, his face feigning shyness.

Su Yinhe: “Ugh.”

Su Yinhe almost threw up on him, she was scared, truly scared.

She was genuinely afraid Lin Murong would go crazy.

“Scram.” After expressing her revulsion, Su Yinhe just uttered one word.

“Fine fine fine, I’ll scram, hmph. It’s just that you don’t like , you only like Chi Yan. So, I’ll go, and don’t miss when I’m gone,” Lin Murong said as he walked away, sighing dramatically.

He looked like a brokenhearted man.

As if he was about to part from life itself in the next mont.

Su Yinhe: “…”

Scared, truly scared.

So scared of this kind of lunatic.

Lin Murong left, and the disgustingly sweet syrup he made remained.

Su Yinhe stared at the syrup on the table for a few seconds before picking it up, preparing to go find Chi Yan.

When she sought him out, Chi Yan was looking at a cookbook.

It’s winter, after all. Ti for so nourishing food, he thought about what to make to enrich Galaxy’s diet.

Chi Yan was absorbed in his reading, a pen in hand with a notebook on the table.

“Chi Yan, have so water,” Su Yinhe handed over the syrup.

Chi Yan’s eyes lit up.

“For ? Did you make this?” Chi Yan asked before picking it up and taking a drink.

Sweet and delightful, it was the taste he liked.

“Ah, well, not exactly. This was made by Lin Murong,” Su Yinhe flipped through the cookbook Chi Yan was reading.

Upon hearing this, Chi Yan’s expression changed in a flash.

“Is that so. He seems to be quite idle every day. Just circling around you all the ti.”

Su Yinhe: “…”

Right.

Could it be that Chi Yan was, jealous?

“Cough cough cough. It’s nothing, it’s nothing, he’s… gone to do other things,” Su Yinhe knew he was getting angry again and began the familiar process of appeasing him.

“That’s better.” Sotis, Chi Yan genuinely wanted to get rid of Lin Murong.

Because Lin Murong was always clinging to Su Yinhe, and he didn’t like it when he found out.

“Oh my. Just relax,” Su Yinhe patted his hand.

“I’m not happy, and I can’t relax. My heart is only so big, and it’s full of you,” Chi Yan started sweet-talking.

Su Yinhe felt her heart pounding.

“Cough cough cough. I know, I know you’re really fond of .”

“Galaxy, can you keep your distance from him?” Chi Yan put down what he was holding, buried his head in Su Yinhe’s shoulder, seemingly acting coy.

“Alright, alright, I promise, I promise you everything,” Su Yinhe was absolutely smitten.

She just loved this. When Chi Yan talked to her like this, she simply couldn’t resist.
