"..." Birmingham had an unspeakable hardship.

In his eyes, the planet that Duge was attacking was perfect, and he wouldn’t allow it to suffer any damage.

It was an indescribable feeling, very wondrous.

He knew his behavior was abnormal.

At that mont, he suddenly understood what that woman ant by ’Emperor Star Guardian I’ before they started fighting.

He must have been cursed!

Birmingham kept telling himself that it was just a planet that had nothing to do with him, and if it was destroyed, so be it.

It had nothing to do with him, but he couldn’t help himself!

Every strike Duge launched towards Emperor Star Guardian I hit him as if it were striking his own heart...

No one could withstand Duge’s beating alone, not even the War God.

Soon, blood trickled from the corner of War God’s mouth, and he stared at Duge with fury, "Despicable, what have you done to ?"

There was a thin atmosphere on Emperor Star Guardian I that didn’t hinder sound transmission.

"Nothing much, I’ve just found this planet quite displeasing for a long ti." Duge smiled, his eyes emitting a Burning Ray, slicing through the ring-shaped mountains towering on Emperor Star Guardian I.

"Don’t." War God’s eyes reddened, and his spear transford into a shield. Holding the shield, he moved back and forth to block all the rays, "Despicable man, can’t you fight fair and square?"

"War God, I even showed you my back," Duge shrugged, using his telekinesis to lift a teor floating in space, dragging it towards Emperor Star Guardian I.

War God had no choice but to release a blast of Divine Power, shattering the teor Duge pulled down.

But what followed was a teor Rain, streaking through the atmosphere as beautiful fireballs, crashing onto Emperor Star Guardian I like shooting stars.

"No!" War God roared hysterically, dashing back and forth to smash all the teors.

An invincible man with a weakness was no longer invincible.

...

"What are those two doing?" The leader of Nebula rcenary Corps widened his eyes, incredulously saying, "I can’t make heads or tails of this."

"Neither can I." Captain Saine furrowed his brows, "Why is War God preventing Supre God from attacking Emperor Star Guardian I?"

"It’s simple, Emperor Star Guardian I is now Birmingham’s lover." Jannie watched her handiwork with pride, "He doesn’t allow any harm to co to his lover; you have to admit, Birmingham really is a man deeply in love!"

"..." Everyone in the cabin reflexively widened their eyes.

The leaders of several rcenary corps turned to their lovers, and then, with terror in their eyes, looked at Jannie. Their hearts were pounding like drums, as they finally understood what had happened—no wonder they had encountered true love upon arriving at Emperor Star.

At the sa ti, they felt so relief that at least their lovers were sentient beings, unlike War God, who had been destined to fall in love with a planet...

"That’s right, it was my doing. I am the Goddess of Love, those blessed by will find their true love." Jannie looked around at everyone, her mood suddenly uplifted, and then, she decisively abandoned her identity as the Sea God.

The constraints of being the Sea God were too great; being the Goddess of Love suited her better. Love could be eternal, regardless of occasion, location, or species...

Richard Wood and the others broke out in a cold sweat, feeling the battlefield grow more fantastical by the mont.

Edward and the others were incredibly grateful for their swift surrender; otherwise, being tornted by Duge in such manner would be worse than death.

...

"War God sir, do you need our help to strike that man?" The lieutenant, having received no response from Birmingham, looked anxiously at the increasingly erratic War God and asked.

Duge, with his keen ears and sharp eyes, even though their communicators were built into their armor, heard the lieutenant’s call. He chuckled and said, "War God, I have to remind you, once the lee starts, your lover could very well be destroyed!"

War God’s eyes suddenly widened. Just the thought of the perfect planet being destroyed caused him heart-wrenching pain. He quickly roared, "No, without my command, no one is allowed to launch an attack, or else, you will be the enemy of my lifeti."

With those words,

everyone on the War God Ship was dumbfounded.

"What exactly have you done to ?" Birmingham was close to madness; he had endless strength, but Duge’s Divine Power was too high-level. One passive hit after another, even his armor started to crack. If it continued, he feared he would be worn down to death here, "What exactly do you want?"

"Birmingham, can we talk?" Duge ceased his assault, looked at Birmingham with a smiling face, and asked, "Right here on Emperor Star Guardian I."
