A mont of silence.

With a beard, Captain Saine looked at Duge, the muscles at the corner of his eyes twitching involuntarily, "Supre God, are you sure you want to do this?"

Every ti he addressed Duge as the Supre God, he felt a sense of sha deep inside.

He acknowledged that Duge was powerful, but even the people from the Heavenly Gods Clan dared not call themselves Supre God, let alone soone who was rely a native from The Wasteland.

It could be said that Duge’s self-proclamation had already offended the Heavenly Gods Clan.

Claiming to eradicate the Thorne Divine Tribe, proclaiming himself as the Supre God, and declaring himself a follower of the Goddess of Freedom...

He was nothing but an arrogant and ignorant madman!

If it weren’t for the fact that he couldn’t defeat Duge, bearded Captain Saine would have taken his fleet as far away as possible a long ti ago.

Now he was truly caught in a dilemma.

To run would an being killed by the madman before him, and not to run might very well lead to annihilation by a joint force of the Thorne Divine Tribe and the Heavenly Gods Clan...

Indeed, was the Divine Artifact such as the Origin of Mankind not sothing beyond the reach of a small rcenary group like his?

"Of course," Duge affird with a nod, "Captain Saine, I am not asking for your opinion but giving an order. If you’re unwilling to comply, I don’t mind replacing the captain and setting you free..."

Madman!

Captain Saine’s forehead throbbed heavily, swallowing all the words of persuasion he had intended to say, humbly he replied, "Great Supre God, I have no doubts about your intentions; I will proceed imdiately..."

Captain Saine activated the universal broadcast, conveying the ssage across the universe while internally swearing that if it ca to it, they would perish together — if he must die, they would all die together.

Duge was aware of what the captain would say, but those words, in essence, would not be of any help.

If so, why let him question himself?

Duge’s power was imnse now; he was no longer the minor character who initially had to use rhetoric to secure his rights, or rather, a small rcenary leader did not qualify to warrant his explanation of his actions.

"Kou Nan, are you sure this is okay?" Jannie asked softly.

Honestly, she was equally startled by the Sub-light Speed Impact Cannon of the Saine rcenary Corps.

She knew technology was powerful, but she hadn’t expected it to be powerful enough to grant mortals the ability to slaughter gods.

If she hadn’t possessed the superpower to transform into Nothingness and had remained the minor Sea God as before, a shot from the Impact Cannon probably would have ended her life.

Besides, there was a more formidable Star-exterminating Cannon, rumored to destroy an entire planet with one blast. Without the planet, what would the Sea God amount to but nothing...

"Trust , as long as the Origin of Mankind is in our hands, our safety will never be compromised," Duge said with a smile, reassuring Jannie, "Besides, with our current abilities, killing us won’t be that easy.

Jannie, you should now inspire those warriors of the Saine rcenary Corps, give them the faith to confront the upcoming challenges..."

Understanding, Jannie moved silently among the mother ship and the various escort ships, fostering romantic links for the warriors of the Saine rcenary Corps and the brave agents from Earth without a trace.

The power of love is mighty.

For the sake of their loved ones, they too would fight fiercely for Emperor Star.

...

The Wasteland has no advanced civilization, that’s common knowledge.

Thus, when news of the Origin of Mankind spread, most rcenary groups, rangers, and wanderers ca rushing to take advantage of the opportunity.

These desperadoes, in the face of imnse profit, hardly cared about the Thorne Divine Tribe.

Seize the Origin of Mankind, use it for oneself, perhaps then sell it to turn a tidy profit and wash one’s hands clean.

In the vast universe, how could the Thorne Divine Tribe possibly find them?

Desperadoes need not worry about the conflicts between civilizations, resource allocation, and such; they rove the stars, seizing every mont.

Thus, the first to arrive were organizations like rcenary groups.

Of course, so civilizations nearer to The Wasteland ca too, but they had more concerns and approached the seizure of the Origin of Mankind stealthily, not daring to reveal their races...

The Saine rcenary Corps isn’t well-known in the universe, so their transmitted information, besides eliciting laughter, wasn’t taken seriously by anyone.

Instead, this let them breathe a sigh of relief that the Origin of Mankind hadn’t been taken, prompting them to accelerate their advance.

The appearance of the rcenary groups also made the Thorne Divine Tribe realize the crisis, pushing their engines to the limit, almost wishing they could reach the skies in one step to reach Emperor Star and annihilate everyone coveting their Divine Artifact.

Well aware of the looming conspiracies, the Thorne Divine Tribe could no longer care less; the Origin of Mankind was their lifeline, finally having a clue after so long, they could not afford to lose it again.

Fifty years might not show much, but with the Origin of Mankind continually missing, the supply of new talents not forthcoming, the Thorne Divine Tribe really faced an existential crisis.

After all, they had always concealed the news of the loss of the Origin of Mankind, but now the entire universe was aware.

...

The arrival of the Saine rcenary Corps seed to have broken a barrier.

In the next two or three days.

Various pirates and rcenary corps arrived successively.

They, like the Saine rcenary Corps, underestimated The Wasteland, then one after another they were defeated, lost their freedom, and beca subordinates of Duge, becoming in-laws to the special agents of Emperor Star.

Emperor Star initially lacked its own interstellar defense force. But now, the outskirts of Emperor Star were densely packed with various escort ships.

This greatly boosted the confidence of the Emperor Star populace and made the scientists of Emperor Star lant that had they known there would be so much readily available technology, they wouldn’t have bothered with their research and simply waited instead!
