Xu Jinkui even had a feeling that the mont when Elder Daoming refilled his spiritual energy would be the ti for him to overco the tribulation and ascend.
...
Of course.
Duge’s ti was precious, and he did not simply wait around at Dragon Tiger Mountain.
After becoming a Nascent Soul, distance was no longer a problem for him, and he needed more information from the outside world.
In the past few days, the news of the Wuyou Sect’s destruction had spread, but it had not increased his attributes by much.
Obviously.
After learning of Wuyou Sect’s deeds, people did not think their destruction was cruel, and so even began to question whether Duge was an Evil Demon after the sect’s fall.
Their reasoning was simple, purely believing that Evil Demons acted on a whim and should not obsess over one thing. Moreover, Evil Demons shouldn’t grow at such a fast rate.
Duge’s actions were more akin to those of a nefarious being using the na of an Evil Demon, or rather, an upright cultivator borrowing the na of a demon...
Hearing these rumors, Duge was helplessly frustrated. Not committing evil acts made it too hard to increase his cruelty parater, and luckily, he had already developed a skill.
Otherwise, with the way things were going, he could turn himself into a living Buddha.
But now, Duge was no longer fixated on the second skill related to cruelty. He intended to let things take their natural course, as this situation actually worked to his advantage.
Trying to forcefully increase his cruelty could very likely push the stable situation he had established back into a passive state.
What made Duge sowhat dejected was that he hadn’t developed his second persuasive skill either. By all accounts, he had convinced a sect’s cultivators to rebel.
Such a significant event should have brought him a second skill!
Incomprehensible!
Since it was incomprehensible, Duge simply stopped worrying about it. Following the geographical map left by Heavenly Master Xu, he road in all directions around Dragon Tiger Mountain, even going as far as to take a look outside the South Peak Emperor’s lair...
Within Dachu Country’s borders lies the Suspended Mountain, known as South Peak, towering more than two thousand ters with thriving incense offerings. Here, the palace of the South Peak Emperor is built, with the Great Emperor worshipped within. Devotees offering incense flowed incessantly.
Above Suspended Mountain, hidden in a mist where devotees could not see, Day Roaming Gods and Night Roaming Gods continuously ca and went; clearly, that was where the real Daoist site of the South Peak Emperor was located.
Duge could not see through the formation guarding the outer area of the South Peak Emperor’s Daoist site and did not dare to recklessly enter. He circled around Suspended Mountain from a distance and then left.
Two Day Roaming Gods had returned two days ago, and the South Peak Emperor showed no signs of action, clearly indicating he did not intend to get involved with the matters at Dragon Tiger Mountain.
If the South Peak Emperor would not intervene, then the Heavenly Master’s Mansion would have to handle it themselves.
...
Indeed, it was as Duge had expected.
On the morning of the third day.
Duge was demonstrating Daoist Rhy to the disciples of Dragon Tiger Mountain.
Suddenly.
A flash of white light passed by.
Two n in green robes appeared in the Heavenly Master Hall.
After the two n appeared, everyone present was stunned, including the two n who had popped up unexpectedly.
"Daoist Rhy?"
One of them couldn’t take his eyes off Duge and blurted out.
"Ancestor?" Xu Jinkui recognized the visitors, abruptly standing up with a pale face, instinctively gripping the Sky Gang Sword.
"Who are you?"
The person who Xu Jinkui called ’Ancestral Master’ did not shift his gaze away from Duge, asking seriously.
He had descended to investigate the evil demons, never expecting to see such a scene. Everyone on Dragon Tiger Mountain was contemplating a child whose body was entwined with Daoist Rhy.
Having only glimpsed that Daoist Rhy a few tis, he had gained so insight. If evil demons all possessed Daoist Rhy, he would wish for several more to co to Dragon Tiger Mountain!
"I am the newly recognized ancestor of Dragon Tiger Mountain," Duge winked at him and said, "Junior, having seen the Daoist Rhy upon your ancestor, shouldn’t you co over and pay your respects?"
"Ancestor?" Xu Jinkui’s Ancestral Master raised his brows, looked towards Xu Jinkui, and asked, "Xu Jinkui, what’s going on?"
"..." Xu Jinkui was startled and turned his head to look at Duge, asking, "Ancestor, may I speak?"
"What’s there to say, you’re no longer thinking of starting a sect, activating the Mountain Protection Array, and dealing with them."
With a shout, Duge unleashed the Dark God Power that swept over the two bewildered immortals, while at the sa ti conjuring the Black Tortoise Pearl, pressing down towards both of them.
He had wasted three days on Dragon Tiger Mountain, all to wait for these two, hadn’t he?
The alliance, forged purely by bluffs and binding interests, could collapse at any mont; Duge currently had no real ans to constrain them.
If they encountered soone more powerful, people like Xu Jinkui might betray him at any ti, and his efforts over these days would be in vain.
Only by truly getting Xu Jinkui and others to cause a disaster and thereby dragging the entire Dragon Tiger Mountain into the water would they truly be of one heart with him.
By then, if he also helped them improve their talents and transford all of them into Divine Envoys, then Duge would indeed have a group of subordinates truly belonging to himself.
There were only twelve more days until the end of the month; he could wait no longer.
Moreover, it was a good opportunity to test the capabilities and ttle of the immortals using these two...
...
Bang!
No sooner had the Dark God Power enveloped the two descended immortals than they easily broke out.
Enraged, Xu Jinkui’s Ancestral Master glared at Duge, and with a flick of his palm, a Longsword appeared, saying, "Such sinister energy, indeed the way of the Evil Demon, today this old man must eradicate you..."
"Junior, I am filled with Daoist Rhy, do you really want to kill ?" Duge did not hold back his Daoist Rhy at all, chuckled, and said, "Take back to Heavenly Court, contemplate and understand daily, and who knows how swiftly your cultivation level will improve?"
The Ancestral Master was taken aback.
"Even if you offer up to Heavenly Master Xu, it would be a great achievent. Junior, think carefully, if you kill , you’ll end up with nothing." Duge continued to use his Tirelessly Ruinous ways, holding the other party at bay, to first ensure he was in an invincible position.
"Do you think you can escape?" The Ancestral Master looked at Duge, chuckled dryly, and said, "Xu Jinkui, activate the Mountain Protection Array, trap this Demon Head, afterward I’ll go to the Heavenly Master’s residence and speak on your behalf for your ritorious deed."
Duge also looked towards Xu Jinkui, with a smile that was not quite a smile, as if watching how he would decide.
Xu Jinkui took a deep breath and resolutely raised the Sky Gang Sword: "Yes, Ancestral Master."
The Mountain Protection Array activated.
A flowing light enveloped the Five Peaks of Dragon Tiger Mountain.
Xu Jinkui and the other Peak Masters of the Five Peaks were covered in a rainbow of lights.
"Good, let’s see where you can run?" The Ancestral Master didn’t believe that in just a few short days, Xu Jinkui could have betrayed the Heavenly Master’s residence, and he laughed arrogantly, "Junior, if I were you, I would surrender and earn yourself a slim chance of survival."
"Really?" Duge smiled and suddenly called out, "Xu Jinkui."
Before his words fell.
Countless beams of sword light descended from the sky, shooting straight towards the two descended immortals.
