The scar-faced youth sitting opposite the carriage turned Duge’s face toward him and examined it carefully, "Laowu, you misjudged. This brat is probably from so rich family, his face may be dirty but the skin underneath is soft and tender, and he’s quite distinct looking. If we clean him up and sell him to Dragon Willow Villa, we could make a big score."

Tie Tou herded cows every day, enduring wind and sun, and hardly getting enough to eat, one could say he was emaciated and his skin rough. But these past few days, Duge’s spiritual power had been nourishing him, along with so minor changes to his attributes, resulting in his coarse and dull skin being replaced with a new layer.

Apart from being dirty, it really was soft and tender.

The guy called Laowu carefully pinched Duge’s face, his tone filled with surprise, "Brother Niu, you’re the ticulous one. This little fella might really be from a wealthy family that lost him. We’ve struck it rich this ti, though it’s a pity for his little butt, it’s probably going to suffer..."

"Don’t rush to send him to Dragon Willow Villa," Brother Niu chuckled, "Later on, let the brothers find out if any nearby towns have lost children, and see if the price they’re willing to pay is high. Maybe by returning him, we could earn even more and face less trouble.

Otherwise, if so high-ranking official sleeps at Dragon Willow Villa and finds his own son, it’s us who will be out of luck in the end. Laowu, in our line of work, we must be extrely cautious; only the brave yet careful can survive for a long ti..."

"You’re right, Brother Niu, that’s the reason we all admire you!" Laowu bit into a flatbread, chewing as he spoke, "What a pity we’re not quite capable enough. Otherwise, with Brother Niu’s brains, you could have made a na for yourself in the martial world."

"That’s wishful thinking," Brother Niu stroked the scar on his face, "There are always people better than us, mountains beyond mountains. When facing martial artists, better keep out of their way; those folks truly don’t value human life!"

"What Brother Niu said is true..." Laowu mumbled in agreent.

The carriage jostled along, winding through the city and eventually stopped in front of a secluded courtyard. The man called Laowu grabbed Duge with one hand and slapped the door.

The carriage didn’t stay; it drove off down the alley.

Duge could sense three more people in the courtyard; two were drinking under a tree, and one was training his strength by lifting a stone lock.

Upon hearing the knocking,

The one training with the stone lock dropped it and hurriedly ran to open the door. Seeing Brother Niu and Laowu, he groveled and greeted them, "Brother Niu, Laowu."

Then, he reached out to take Duge.

But his hand hadn’t touched Duge yet.

Duge’s eyes suddenly opened wide, and his hand reached down, already snatching a short blade from Laowu’s waist.

In the stunned gaze of the man across him, Duge’s knife-wielding hand forcefully flicked upward, cleanly slicing off Laowu’s wrist.

Laowu cried out in pain, wailing miserably, and let go of Duge.

Brother Niu, who was walking ahead, had sharp reflexes. Without looking back, he lunged forward to distance himself from Duge.

But Duge wouldn’t give him the chance. Although he only had the strength of an adult, he had played through so many Alien Battlefields, and his combat skills were not sothing a few lowlifes could match, especially since he had the elent of surprise.

Brother Niu hadn’t expected a presumably unconscious child to suddenly attack them.

Thud!

A muffled sound.

The short blade in Duge’s hand had stabbed into Brother Niu’s lower back.

Another scream sounded as Brother Niu scurried out, faster than before.

The young man who had co to open the door finally reacted, bellowing furiously and swinging his fist at Duge’s head.

Duge dodged his head to the side, the short blade flicking upward, conveniently stabbing into the young man’s abdon.

The young man, as if he had never been so gravely injured, stared in disbelief at Duge, his eyes rolling back as he collapsed to the ground, passing out from shock.

At this mont.

The two drinking had also co to their senses. They grabbed the sabers lying beside them and charged at Duge, but after running a few steps, both stopped dead. Looking into Duge’s eyes, fear filled their own.

Shortly after.

One of them collapsed to his knees with a thud.

The other’s hand loosened, and with a clang, the saber in his hand fell to the ground.

Duge didn’t chase after Brother Niu. Instead, he dragged the short blade down from the young man’s abdon, slicing him open, then he pulled out the man’s intestines. Turning to face the two charging n, he revealed a ferocious smile.

Slicing a hand, stabbing the lower back, piercing the abdon...

These successive actions were done almost in the blink of an eye, and each ca with a spray of blood, sothing Duge couldn’t avoid due to his attributes.

being short, the blood of the three n sprayed over his head and face. Coupled with his expressionless face as he pulled out the intestines, he looked just like a debt-collecting demon. Who wouldn’t be terrified?

Moreover, they had done so many bad deeds and hard countless children. Seeing Duge, they instantly thought of a reaping demon and didn’t dare resist.

Brother Niu turned around and saw the scene of Duge pulling out intestines, howling in horror. Ignoring the wound on his back, he struggled to scale the wall and escape, while Laowu, who had his left hand chopped off by Duge, turned and ran towards the exterior of the courtyard.

Duge tripped Laowu with a hook of his foot, then with a flick of his wrist, flung the blood-stained short blade into the air.

Thunk!

The short blade nailed into the wall, scaring Brother Niu into a shiver and flopping onto the ground with a thud.

"You think you can run after offending ?" Duge glanced around the courtyard at the few people, sneered, and stepped on Laowu. He closed the courtyard door and slid the bolt into place before bending down and dragging Laowu and the young man with his intestines hanging out to the center of the courtyard. He moved as gracefully as if he were dragging two dead dogs.
