What is Pan-Universe Entertainnt up to?
Having retreated from the Alien Battlefield, Duge still couldn’t figure out the answer to this question while lying in the reflection pod.
After the battle at Earth Guard Base, even though Duge redesigned the script for the remaining Alien Warriors, their morale had completely collapsed. They humored Duge with perfunctory responses on the surface but none dared to oppose him any longer.
Better a bad life than a good death.
It’s much better to return to their planet and face Judgent than to oppose Duge and die on the spot.
Besides, Duge made it clear his intention was to draw out the Alien Battlefield, enjoying several good years on Green Star just the sa.
Once the grown Alien Warriors banded together, the Hill people, despite their superior physique and higher-level civilization than the Green Star people, would be no match for them.
Duge experienced the thrill of Pan-Universe Entertainnt using the Alien Warriors for their final harvest.
Having obtained the space-jump technology of the Hill civilization, he left part of their spacecraft for the Green Star people to study.
Duge then took all the Alien Warriors and commandeered the remaining Hill spacecraft to et the wandering Hill civilization along the Star Map.
Duge originally planned to leave so Alien Warriors on Green Star to continue acting in Pan-Universe Entertainnt’s drama, but the abnormal behavior of Pan-Universe Entertainnt made him realize that sothing might have gone wrong outside.
So.
He ceased all pretense.
He wanted to use this thod to probe the bottom line of Pan-Universe Entertainnt and also give Green Star a window for emigration.
Duge had suggested to the President to destroy Green Star and learn to wander the universe like the Hill people.
He didn’t know whether the President was willing to give up a comfortable life; if he wasn’t, then being harvested by Pan-Universe Entertainnt was their fate.
Duge had done the best he could, and there was no need to expose himself like a savior to rescue a group of strangers he had no connection with.
After about a year of space travel, Duge collided head-on with the Hill civilization.
During that year, Duge spent most of his ti becoming familiar with the spacecraft’s structure and the Hill’s interstellar culture, while the spiritual power of the Alien Warriors following him had hardly increased. Their ranking seed frozen, unchanging.
The anomaly had led other planetary Alien Warriors to believe they had escaped the control of Pan-Universe Entertainnt and could now fly freely.
But everyone celebrated too soon.
A year later, when they encountered Hill civilization’s warships and were about to fight, the Alien Battlefield suddenly ended.
...
Could it be that Pan-Universe Entertainnt wanted to use them to find the Hill civilization and then use the Hill’s power to strike at Green Star?
But there was no need for them to do so.
Ending the Alien Battlefield at Green Star would allow them to harvest Green Star just the sa.
They could even choose, after a year, to take over the bodies of the Alien Warriors and simultaneously harvest both Hill and Green Star civilizations.
To manage the bodies of the Alien Warriors in the universe and then return to Green Star, at least a year of space travel would be needed, which made no sense!
Was Pan-Universe Entertainnt planning to create a simulation of the Hill civilization invading Green Star?
Duge was utterly perplexed.
Just as he pondered what Pan-Universe Entertainnt was up to,
the scene before him changed, and he was brought before Bai Long.
After eting, Bai Long conducted another deep scan of him.
Having completed the scan, Bai Long sat in his chair, looking at Duge with a gaze that was both scrutinizing and profound.
"Mr. Bai Long," Duge greeted with a smile, "Is there a problem?"
"Less than three million in spiritual power, affinity with water and light attributes," Bai Long said coldly, looking at him. "Duge, you’ve grown fast!"
"Mr. Bai Long, that’s not my fault, I don’t know how it happened, but I just awakened the Solar Divine Power," Duge said, scratching his head. "But in the last Alien Battlefield, I kept our agreent; I neither used the Sea Divine Power nor the Solar Divine Power. I honestly used the keywords. You can’t punish for that, can you?"
"Did you really not use Solar Divine Power?" Bai Long asked.
"When Lu Tingjie took out of Earth Guard Base, the Solar Divine Power activated defensively on its own," Duge said with an embarrassed smile. "But that was involuntary use. I don’t know how to control the Solar Divine Power inside . At that ti, I even made up an excuse to cover it up."
"Let’s set aside the matter of divine power for now," Bai Long waved his hand, cutting off Duge, "Aren’t you going to explain the use of the low-profile keywords? After Wu Yanlong exposed you, you stirred up all of Green Star’s resources with a high profile. Yet, at the Earth Guard Base, your attributes did not decrease at all."
"..." Duge paused, then asked, "Mr. Bai Long, isn’t the increase in attributes due to keywords determined by you? Isn’t this normal? Low-profile in life, high-profile in action. I always thought that was the case."
"Low-profile in life, high-profile in action?" Bai Long frowned.
"Mr. Bai Long, you’re giving too much credit. No matter how talented, I’m just a native from Qiyuan Star. I can’t even figure out how you project us onto the Alien Battlefield, so how could I control keywords myself?" Duge said with a bitter smile. "The power of the Sea God and Solar God, I also don’t understand how they entered the Alien Battlefield with ..."
Bai Long fell silent.
He knew asking Duge to explain was asking too much. Duge was cunning; it was fundantal to his survival, and he was not likely to tell the truth.
