I know.
The Regent silently responded in his mind.
From the beginning, he had known the plans of Duge’s Clone.
Moreover,
he had been waiting for the fusion of Duge’s Clone.
As the Regent of Pan-Universe Entertainnt, naturally, he could not, like others, possess a body that only had a little over twenty skills. If he were to possess one, it would be the most powerful one.
But his thoughts could not be shared with others.
The Speaker of the Council, the Great General, the heads of various major families, and the chairpersons of the entertainnt companies together ford the pinnacle of power in the Pan Universe civilization.
They would agree to him being a bit stronger than them but would absolutely not tolerate seeing him far ahead, able to suppress everyone.
Thus, even though he had guessed what Duge’s Clone intended to do, he never exposed it and instead pushed from behind using Duge’s actual body, turning this matter into an established fact.
The Regent never believed that those few hundred quick-trained warriors, each possessing a little over twenty skills, could defeat Duge.
Only that super-body, which amalgamated over a thousand keywords and more than two thousand skills, was the weapon to fight against Duge.
And as the most powerful individual in the Pan Universe civilization, once Duge’s Clone created the super-body, he would naturally take it over to confront and defeat Duge.
By then, even if the others were reluctant, they would have to pinch their noses and accept the fact.
Afterwards, by using Duge’s Clone to create a new super-body and placating people like the Speaker of the Council, he would still be the leader of Pan-Universe Entertainnt.
If they did not agree to these terms, then he would eliminate them all and elevate a new group of people, becoming the true king of Pan-Universe Entertainnt with no one else to share his power.
Unexpectedly, at the last mont, the Speaker of the Council saw through this loophole.
The Regent frowned slightly, breaking the silence, "Shen Long, I was negligent. However, the priority is to eliminate Duge’s actual body. Once Duge’s actual body is gone, the Shard Spirit isn’t worriso since it’s still under our control."
He surveyed the room, "This is also good for us, having a super-body with thousands of skills, theoretically, it could break the keyword-related troubles plaguing our race. But it’s better if just a few of us use the powerful super-body. If every clan mber had a super-body, it would be detrintal to our rule..."
With a super-body containing over a thousand keywords, did Duge’s actual body, which only had twenty-sothing skills, still matter?
It could squash him in a minute, right?
What really mattered was who controlled the super-body, right?
The Speaker of the Council and others looked at the Regent with complicated feelings.
But at this mont, they also knew, they couldn’t compete with the Regent for the super-body.
Fortunately, when the Regent controlled the super-body, Duge’s Clone would be summoned back to Pan-Universal Headquarters, and they would still have a chance to seek benefits for themselves.
The Speaker of the Council nodded, "Gagar, you lead the troops to battle Duge’s actual body, I’ll stay at the headquarters to arrange the follow-up resettlent. If Duge’s Clone fuses, he will also control over a thousand keywords, having comparable strength to you, so we must guard against that."
A threat?
The Regent chuckled, "Don’t worry, I’ll watch him. Next ti he deploys, when you create the super-body for you, I’ll suppress him from below, not giving him a chance to grow."
"Let’s hope so," laughed the Speaker of the Council, "Gagar, if Duge’s Clone fuses and deploys again, you can directly use the God Annihilator Cannon on him without waiting for him to train the skills. Duge’s Clone’s ambition is hardly smaller than Duge’s; keeping him strictly as a tool would be best. Over two thousand skills are enough for our use."
"I’ll be careful." The Regent looked at the Speaker of the Council and nodded, his unease not dissipating.
But after much thought, he couldn’t figure out what he might have overlooked. He reviewed the situation ntally while keeping an eye on Duge and the Shard Spirit on the screen, "Keep constant watch on both of them, and if you detect any signs of Duge breaking through Universe barriers, regardless of whether the Shard Spirit has fused into the super-body, recall them imdiately to prevent Duge from absorbing them..."
He spoke halfway.
He suddenly froze.
Could this be what had been troubling him?
A Duge possessing over a thousand keywords would be unbeatable by any force called upon by the Pan-Universe Entertainnt!
"Gao Qiao, send a ssage to Duge’s Clone, telling him to fuse and consolidate the thousand keywords into one body the mont he awakens the skills," commanded the Regent decisively.
Previously, he had been waiting for Duge’s Clone to secretly fuse so he could benefit from it.
Now, realizing that the super-body might fall into Duge’s hands, regardless of his wishes, he demanded that the Shard Spirit take initiative in the fusion.
The super-body must be in his control, without any mishaps.
"Yes," Gao Qiao responded.
"Pang Da, constantly monitor Duge’s main body, using the smart brain to calculate the timing of him breaking the Universe barriers, down to the second," continued the Regent.
"Yes," Pang Da responded.
"Monitor the background data of Duge’s Clone; report any anomalies to imdiately..." The Regent thought quickly, trying to cover every loophole he could imagine.
He suddenly thought, if Duge’s Clone were to lose control like the main body, it would be a disaster for him too.
There were too many unforeseen circumstances.
