Su Jiyai calmly waved her hand, and a galaxy-colored portal appeared in front of them.

The portal spun with stars, light, and strange purple ripples. It looked like a piece of the universe had been cut out and placed there.

Qin Feng lifted his hand without a word.

Xi Ping, serious as always, reached out and held it.

Then Jake, who looked quiet but his eyes glowed faintly red, calmly took Xi Ping’s hand.

One by one, they stepped forward and jumped in.

The world around them twisted, stretched, then snapped back into place.

When they opened their eyes again, Su Jiyai blinked. Her blue eyes widened in shock. At the sa ti, Jake froze too.

The two of them exchanged a look, and in both their minds, the sa thought echoed.

We are back... to Vampire World.

Su Jiyai’s heart pounded. Jake’s eyes turned sharper, darker.

"This..." Su Jiyai whispered. "This is the Vampire World?"

Jake gave a small nod. His lips pressed tightly together. "Yes. The air, the sll, the energy... I rember. We’re back."

There were too many mysteries surrounding Jake.

One of them involved the possibility of him being a resident of the vampire world in the first place.

’Maybe,’ Su Jiyai thought, ’now they would finally get answers.’

She looked around. The ground was purple. Strange mist floated above jagged rocks.

"This place..." Su Jiyai frowned. "It doesn’t look like the cities I saw last ti."

Jake’s expression turned calm, though his eyes held a flicker of acknowledgent.

"This mountain... I know it. When I first ca here, I was teleported to this exact place. They had said it was a forbidden forest sothing"

Su Jiyai tilted her head. "Forbidden? Why?"

Jake shook his head.

"I don’t know all the reasons. But they say it hides old things, ancient things. Dangerous too. But..." His eyes glanced at the glowing moss along the rocks.

"I think the herbs you want... they could be here."

Su Jiyai’s eyes lit up at once. "Then we cannot waste ti. We need to find them quickly."

The others nodded. Jake went his own way, Xi Ping quietly went in the direction opposite to him, while Qin Feng stayed with Su Jiyai.

Su Jiyai changed back into her human form, her blue hair cascading down her shoulders, her wolf ears fading.

She brushed off her cloak and turned to Qin Feng.

"We should split too," she said.

But Qin Feng shook his head at once, his jaw set tight. His hand clenched slightly. "No. I don’t want to leave you alone."

Su Jiyai blinked at him, surprised. "Why? You are acting strange. What’s wrong?"

Qin Feng’s face was calm, but his heart was filled with anxiety.

"I don’t know. I just... feel sothing. My chest is heavy. I think sothing big will happen soon."

Su Jiyai frowned, stepping closer. She gently hugged him, her voice soft.

"It’s okay. You are just anxious. This world is unfamiliar. That is all."

Qin Feng shook his head.

"No. It’s not that. I’ve traveled to many worlds. I’ve seen worse. But this feeling... it’s different. It feels like danger. Like fate."

Su Jiyai’s heart sank a little at his serious tone. But she quickly smiled, patting his back.

"Then, if you worry so much, I’ll give you a talisman. You can teleport to anyti if sothing happens."

But Qin Feng shook his head again. His eyes glowed faintly. He suddenly reached out and grabbed her hand.

Su Jiyai felt a sudden jolt run through her body. She gasped. "What... what did you do?"

Qin Feng looked straight at her.

"I left a mark on you. A soul mark. No matter where you are, even if soone tries to cut off all roots or trap you in a spatial lock, I’ll know."

Su Jiyai’s jaw dropped.

So much precaution? Not like she had thrown away all of it, but... Qin Feng was overthinking.

She frowned. "Why would anyone use spatial lock on ? Why are you imagining such strange things?"

Qin Feng shook his head.

"I don’t know. But I’ve seen things like this before. And I don’t want to risk it. I needed to make sure I can always reach you. Not to ntion the only way to break a connection is spatial lock and hence I left a mark that couldn’t be cut off just because of spatial lock."

Su Jiyai looked into his eyes for a long mont. Then, slowly, she nodded. "Alright. I understand."

She turned to leave, but Qin Feng’s voice suddenly ca out, low and deep.

"I love you."

Su Jiyai froze. Her heart skipped.

Then she turned back, her lips curving into a smile.

She walked to him, tiptoed, and gave him a quick peck. Then, with a playful grin, she kissed him deeply.

"I love you too. And don’t worry so much. Everything will be fine."

Qin Feng’s face softened, though there was still a tinge of worry. He nodded slowly.

After that, the two finally separated and went their own ways.

Su Jiyai kept her steps slow. The deeper she went into the purple mountain, the stronger the sll of herbs beca.

Her sharp nose could detect the faint fragrance of strong herb plants.

Soon, she bent down and plucked a glowing leaf. Her eyes brightened. "One herb... two herbs... I already got two out of twenty."

Her heart thumped faster.

"This might be the last dinsion hunting. After this, the antidote will be ready. We can finally cure Uncle Kane. We can cure everyone. Maybe... this world will be free of zombies forever."

That thought alone made her chest warm.

But then...

Rustle.

She froze. Her ears twitched. Slowly, she looked up.

A young man stood there, half-hidden by the purple mist. His face was sharp, his posture noble, his black cape flowing. And his eyes...

Su Jiyai’s breath caught.

Those eyes. That face. He looked very much like Jake.

The young man’s eyes widened too. Shock crossed his face. Then, suddenly, he shouted.

"Aunt! What are you doing here?"

Su Jiyai’s jaw dropped. Her whole body stiffened.

"What... what did you call ?" she asked in disbelief.

Aunt? Does she looks that old?

The young man stepped forward, pointing straight at her.

"Aunt! You look exactly like her. The sa hair... the sa eyes... everything!"

Su Jiyai blinked hard.

"Who are you to talk to like this? You didn’t even introduce yourself, yet you are calling nas. Rude."

The man froze, stunned. Nobody had ever talked to him like that. But... for so reason he didn’t hate.

"I... I am Ronald. The Second Prince of the Vampire Empire."

Su Jiyai tilted her head, unimpressed.

"Second Prince? So what? You should still introduce yourself properly before shouting at soone."

Ronald felt like soone had slapped him.

He was a prince. He was respected everywhere. But this woman... she looked so beautiful that he almost forgot his anger.

Her long blue hair shimred in the purple light, her blue eyes sparkled like the ocean, and her aura was both soft and strong.

For so reason, Ronald’s heart skipped.

"She’s so..." he thought, unable to finish the sentence.

Su Jiyai, noticing his dazed look, frowned. "Are you even listening?"

Ronald blinked rapidly.

"Y-yes! Sorry. I just... You look so much like her. My aunt. She disappeared a long ti ago. But seeing you... It’s like she ca back."

Su Jiyai folded her arms. "And why should I believe your words? Maybe you’re just mistaking for soone else."

She wasn’t worried that Ronald would feel that she was different from them. At least she was half vampire blood now.

Not to ntion, it would be better if she kept attracting all the attention so that this prince doesn’t detect the presence of Qin Feng or Xi Ping.

Ronald shook his head strongly.

"No. I cannot mistake it. The resemblance is too much. And... if you are not Aunt, then tell , who are you?"

Su Jiyai sighed. She didn’t want to reveal too much yet.

But at the sa ti, her curiosity was burning.

If what he said was true, then maybe this "aunt" had sothing to do with Jake’s origins... and maybe even her own.

So instead of answering, she asked calmly, "What was your aunt’s na?"

Ronald’s lips trembled. His eyes softened. "Her na was... Anna."

He said in a soft voice, almost like he was rembering sothing very beautiful from a long ti ago.

Su Jiyai’s interest shot up imdiately. Her eyes lit with curiosity as she asked, "Do you have any photos of her?"

Hearing those words, Ronald snapped back to his senses and looked carefully at Su Jiyai.

His face tightened, but he still nodded.

"Yes. I do. But it is not with right now. The portrait is hung up inside the main hall of the royal mansion."

Su Jiyai froze. Her eyes widened as a mory flashed in her mind.

She rembered the day when she was escaping from the Third Prince. There had been a painting hung on the wall. Among them, she had seen a face that looked... so much like hers...
