Chapter 386: Chapter 386: Ma Xing Chapter 386: Chapter 386: Ma Xing His eyes scanned over the strange symbols, but now, instead of excitent, all he felt was doubt.

“This… this can’t be right,” he muttered.

“I spent so much money on this!

Why isn’t it working?” Ma Xing propped herself up on her elbows, looking amused.

“Wait… you actually paid for this thing?” Su Jin hesitated before nodding.

“Yeah… 100,000 points.” Ma Xing’s smirk instantly faded.

She stared at him, then suddenly burst into loud laughter.

“You… you got scamd!” she said between laughs.

“Oh my god, Su Jin, I thought you were dumb before, but this… this is on a whole new level!” Su Jin’s stomach dropped.

“What?

No way.

This is a real technique!” He pointed at the scroll.

“It has to be!

Those guys looked so serious!” Ma Xing wiped a tear from the corner of her eye, still chuckling.

“Of course they looked serious!

That’s how scamrs work, dummy!

They act mysterious, make up so ancient-sounding na, and then take advantage of gullible people like you!” Su Jin clenched his fists.

“No… that can’t be true.

What if I just haven’t unlocked its secrets yet?” Ma Xing rolled her eyes.

“Alright, let’s test it then.” She grabbed the scroll, pretending to read it dramatically.

“Ooooh, Heavenly Dragon Void Art!

So powerful!

So mysterious!” She waved it around.

“I bet if I burn this thing, it’ll release so hidden divine energy, right?” “Stop joking around!” Su Jin snatched the scroll back, his face burning with anger and embarrassnt.

Ma Xing sat up, her expression softening just a little.

“Look, Su Jin.

I know you wanna get stronger, but throwing your money at random strangers isn’t gonna make you so cultivation genius overnight.” Su Jin stared at the scroll in his hands.

Now that he thought about it, there really was sothing suspicious about those two n.

The way they disappeared so fast, the way they acted all mysterious but never really explained anything… Had he really been tricked?

His whole body felt cold.

100,000 points.

Gone.

Just like that.

Ma Xing sighed and poked his forehead.

“Well, at least you got sothing out of it.” She winked playfully.

“Not all bad, huh?” Su Jin stopped groaning and turned to look at the beautiful Ma Xing.

Indeed he earned sothing.

Even though he got scamd of 100,000 points, he still got to sleep with a young beautiful woman like Ma Xing!

At least those 100,000 points gave him the courage to pursue what he wanted.

Su Jin pinned Ma Xing down on the bed, his lips trailing down her neck as she giggled beneath him.

They continued eting in secret for over a week, their affair growing bolder with each passing day.

After a week.

“You’re getting addicted to ,” Ma Xing teased, running her fingers through his hair.

Su Jin smirked.

“Can you bla ?” She laughed and playfully pushed him away before sitting up.

“I have an idea.” “What is it?” Su Jin asked, lying back against the pillows.

Ma Xing leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear.

“Let’s do a little roleplay.” Su Jin raised an eyebrow.

“Haven’t we already done plenty?” “This one’s different,” she whispered, her eyes glinting with mischief.

“I’ll act like a helpless girl, and you pretend you’re forcing .” Su Jin hesitated.

“That’s… a bit much.” “Oh, co on,” Ma Xing pouted.

“It’s just a ga.

You trust , don’t you?” He did.

Over the past week, he had started to believe Ma Xing truly liked him.

She had been the one chasing him all this ti.

What harm could a little play-acting do?

“Alright,” Su Jin sighed.

“How do we start?” Ma Xing grinned and suddenly threw a pillow at him.

“Stay away from !” she shouted dramatically.

Su Jin chuckled.

“Oh no, whatever shall I do?” She tossed more pillows and sheets at him, but none of them actually hit him.

It was all playful, calculated.

Su Jin dodged them easily before lunging forward, grabbing her wrists, and pinning her to the wall.

“You’re mine now,” he whispered, playing along.

Ma Xing gasped, shaking her head.

“No, please, let go!” Her voice trembled, and tears welled in her eyes.

For a split second, Su Jin paused.

She was really good at acting.

Then, before he could say another word, the door suddenly burst open with a loud crash.

A powerful aura filled the room like a tidal wave, suffocating Su Jin.

A massive figure stood in the doorway.

Du Xiao.

Su Jin barely had ti to react before a giant fist crashed into his face, sending him flying across the room.

His body hit the floor with a painful thud.

“Bastard!” Du Xiao roared, stepping forward like an enraged beast.

He turned to Ma Xing and gently pulled her behind him.

“Are you okay?” Ma Xing clung to his arm, her face buried in his chest.

“Du Xiao… he—he tried to force himself on …” she sobbed.

Su Jin’s eyes widened in horror.

“What?!

No!

That’s not what happened!” Du Xiao’s expression darkened.

“You dare try to lie after what I just saw?” He didn’t give Su Jin a chance to explain.

Another punch landed squarely on Su Jin’s stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

He doubled over, gasping for air.

By now, a crowd had gathered outside the room, drawn by the commotion.

Among them was Wei Xin.

Wei Xin’s face was unreadable as she stepped forward.

“What’s going on?” Du Xiao turned to her, his voice dripping with anger.

“Your husband was caught trying to assault Ma Xing.” The crowd erupted into murmurs.

Su Jin crawled to his knees, his lip bleeding.

“Wei Xin, listen to !

She’s lying!

We were—” Wei Xin didn’t respond imdiately.

She turned her gaze to Ma Xing.

“Is this true?” Ma Xing nodded, tears streaming down her face.

“I kept telling him no, but he wouldn’t stop…” More whispers filled the air.

“Disgusting.” “I always thought Su Jin looked a little shady.”
