Chapter 260: Chapter 260: Wolf Cub Chapter 260: Chapter 260: Wolf Cub It had been such a long ti since she last saw Qin Feng and wanted to surprise him.

The familiar sensation of teleportation washed over her, and in an instant, she found herself standing in Qin Feng’s room.

However, the space was eerily empty.

The silence in the room told her imdiately that Qin Feng wasn’t there.

“Where is he?” Su Jiyai muttered, glancing around.

She waited for him, but as the minutes turned into hours, there was no sign of Qin Feng.

Her patience finally wore thin.

“System, it’s been two hours.

I don’t have ti to wait anymore.

Teleport to Crystal Cove.” [Understood, host.] In the blink of an eye, Su Jiyai was transported to the outskirts of Crystal Cove.

Su Jiyai took out her veil and wore it.

“Invisibility on,” she whispered.

Instantly, the veil shimred and she disappeared from sight.

“System, give an update on the area,” she instructed ntally.

[Ten level 3 zombies have been detected nearby.] Su Jiyai’s sharp eyes scanned the area as the system inford her of the nearby level 3 zombies.

A smile crept across her lips, hidden under the veil.

“Perfect.

Let’s test out my new abilities.” The ten level 3 zombies ca into view, their decayed forms lumbering toward her, but Su Jiyai was no longer the prey.

She was the hunter.

“Let’s see what you’ve got,” she muttered, charging toward them at breakneck speed.

Her agility had increased to an astonishing level—she was a blur, zipping through the zombies’ ranks before they even realized what was happening.

With a single thought, she conjured flas, letting them burst forth from her paws in controlled, deadly arcs.

The first zombie disintegrated in a brilliant flash of fire.

Another lunged at her, but Su Jiyai effortlessly sidestepped, releasing a burst of flas that engulfed its body.

She jumped high into the air, spinning and slashing through two more zombies, her fire slicing them like a hot knife through butter.

“Whoa…

I’m faster than I thought!” Su Jiyai marveled as she landed gracefully, barely breaking a sweat.

The remaining zombies were reduced to smoldering ashes within monts.

Su Jiyai stood in the middle of the battlefield, her fur crackling with residual flas.

She hadn’t even broken a sweat.

“I’m not even tired?

This is insane!” [Host’s physical abilities have drastically improved due to your recent upgrades,] the system chid in.

“Yeah, no kidding,” Su Jiyai said, steadying herself.

“Alright, that was fun.

Now, let’s get back to business.” Taking out the teleportation scroll, she tore it in half.

A rush of energy filled the air as the linked teleportation activated.

Within seconds, three figures appeared before her—Xi Ping, Jake, and Fu Lin, all looking slightly disoriented from the sudden travel.

Xi Ping blinked, looking around in confusion.

“Whoa…

didn’t think I’d be here this fast.

I was just in the middle of a sandwich.” Fu Lin, always the calst, simply adjusted his clothes.

“Efficient.

I like it.” Jake rolled his eyes at two country bumpkins and continued to look around.

Trying to find Su Jiyai.

Su Jiyai turns off the invisibility function and jumps in his arm.

Then she ows at him and Jake understands what she is saying.

Turning toward Xi Ping who was a little lancholic and Fu Lin who was trying to find Boss Su too, he informs, “Boss Su is not going to co, instead her assistant…” Jake raises the blue wolf-looking cub in front of Xi Ping and Fu Lin, and says, “She is Boss Su’s assistant.” Xi Ping felt as if she had seen the blue wolf-looking cub before, however, she didn’t delve into it and instead nodded.

She had long known that Boss Su would not co and didn’t doubt Jake’s words since she saw the sa scroll as hers in Jake’s hand.

Fu Lin too doesn’t doubt Jake’s words and nods.

Jake stares at the blue wolf cub and sighs thinking that Su Jiyai had truly changed a lot since he had seen her last ti.

If not for Su Jiyai’s sll, he might have not believed she was the blue cat he had cradled in his hands earlier.

Su Jiyai, in her blue wolf cub form, owed at Jake again, signaling that it was ti to get serious.

Jake understood her imdiately, his expression turning serious as he turned toward Xi Ping and Fu Lin.

“Alright, listen up,” Jake said.

“We have to split up and gather all the details about the corrupted people in the base within the next four hours.

No mistakes.” Xi Ping and Fu Lin both nodded in agreent.

They were seasoned enough to know that this mission needed precision and speed.

Su Jiyai, still cradled in Jake’s arms, tapped his pocket lightly with her paw.

Jake raised an eyebrow before realizing what she wanted.

She had asked the system to place invisibility batches in Jake’s pocket.

“Oh, right,” he muttered, reaching into his pocket and pulling out three small brooches.

“These are invisibility badges.

As long as you wear them, you’ll be completely invisible.” He handed one each to Xi Ping and Fu Lin, keeping one for himself.

Su Jiyai watched as they both clipped the brooches onto their clothes.

The two of them vanished instantly, blending into the surroundings.

Jake quickly did the sa, turning invisible.

He set Su Jiyai down on the ground gently and whispered, “I’ll ask you later how you managed to go from a blue cat to a blue wolf cub, but for now, let’s get this done.” Su Jiyai rolled her eyes at him, clearly thinking, Is this really the ti to be concerned about that?

She gave a slight growl and trotted off, leaving Jake to his part of the mission.

As Su Jiyai prowled through the shadows of the Crystal Cove base, her senses were on high alert.

The system had given her information about the area earlier, but her main goal now was to see if there was any hidden branch of the institute operating within the base.

Being invisible under her veil and in wolf cub form gave her a huge advantage.
