Chapter 161: Chapter 161: Love Letter Chapter 161: Chapter 161: Love Letter “What?” Su Jiyai was surprised.

She was only planning to help a little.

Who would have thought that the system would suddenly give her such a big surprise?

“Wait!

Why didn’t you tell earlier?

When we et for the first ti?” Su Jiyai asked.

The system responded in its usual calm tone, [Host, the connection to the chosen one’s family was only established after this encounter.

Earlier, there was no direct interaction.] Well, that sounded like a random reason.

So, she had stumbled upon the chosen one’s brother without even realizing it.

It seed her luck stat was still working overti.

The thugs, still frozen in place after seeing the tall, muscular man, exchanged nervous glances.

The leader hesitated, unsure whether to continue his intimidation or back off.

“These people?” Hua stamred, clearly not expecting Su Jiyai to intervene.

“They’re…

uh, they’ve been collecting paynts.

I’ve been struggling to make enough to pay them back.

It’s…

complicated.” Su Jiyai crossed her arms, her expression hardening.

“Well, complicated or not, harassing soone isn’t the way to solve things.” The thug leader, realizing he was losing control of the situation, puffed up his chest in a final attempt to assert dominance.

“Listen, man, this isn’t your business.

Hua owes us money, and we’re just here to collect.

We don’t care who you are or who you think you know.” Su Jiyai’s gaze turned cold, and the air around her seed to shift.

“You’re right, I don’t care about your business.

But I do care about what happens to the people I invest in.

Hua is under my protection now.” The leader blinked, his confidence faltering.

He could sense there was sothing off about this man.

Su Jiyai chuckled in her heart.

What a joke, though she deliberately used a muscular man’s build to intimidate them, but in reality she was far more than capable of dealing with them.

After a tense pause, the leader stepped back, motioning to his goons to leave.

“Fine,” he growled, clearly not happy about backing down.

“We’ll go, but this isn’t over.

Hua, you better pay up soon, or next ti we won’t be so nice.” With that, the thugs slunk away, disappearing into the alley.

Hua exhaled, his shoulders finally relaxing as the tension left his body.

“Thank you,” he said, his voice shaky but filled with relief.

“I didn’t know what to do.

I’ve been in debt for months, and they’ve been threatening every day.

I don’t know how I’ll ever pay them back.

By the way, who are you?

And why did you help ?” “Angel.” Su Jiyai said softly.

In her heart, she asked, “System what is the gender of the chosen one?” [Female.] “What is the relationship?” [Brother and Sister.] “Great!” Su Jiyai cheered.

“Write a short letter to explain the entire situation.” [Okay host.] She turned toward Hua and said, “Since I helped you, I need your help with sothing.

Can you deliver this letter to your sister?” “My sister?” Hua repeated, still not fully grasping the situation.

Su Jiyai nodded calmly, handing over the neatly folded letter that the system had just helped her write.

“Yes, I need you to give this to her.

It’s important.” Before Hua could respond, his phone buzzed loudly in his pocket.

Startled, he quickly pulled it out and glanced at the screen.

It was a call from ho.

“Excuse ,” he muttered, holding the phone to his ear as he stepped away.

Su Jiyai leaned against the RV, her eyes narrowing slightly.

“System, can you keep tabs on this call?” she asked ntally.

[Already monitoring, host.] A faint hum filled Su Jiyai’s mind as the system tuned into the conversation.

On the phone, Hua’s mother sounded anxious.

“Hua, you need to co ho right away.” “Mom, what’s going on?

Is everything okay?” Hua asked, clearly worried.

There was a brief pause before his mother spoke again, her voice filled with shock and numbness.

Hua froze, his face going pale.

“What?

What do you an, my biological sister?” His mother hurriedly explained, “We just found out today.

There was a mix-up at the hospital when you were born.

The girl we raised as your sister—she’s not actually related to us by blood.

But your real sister, the one we were supposed to bring ho that day, she found us.

Hua, you have to co back and et her.

She’s here with us right now.” Hua stood still, completely stunned.

He had grown up with his sister, and now to find out that she wasn’t his real sister, that his true sibling had just entered his life—he didn’t know how to process it all.

“Mom, I—I’ll co back right away,” Hua finally stamred, his voice shaky with emotion.

“Just…

I need a mont.” “Of course, son,” his mother said gently.

“Co as soon as you can.” Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow when she heard the entire conversation.

Now she understood what the system ant.

If there was a mix-up during the birth…then it would explain why in the morning when she t Hua, the system didn’t detect him as the brother of the chosen one, right?

Maybe the mont the chosen one acknowledged her parents, the system detected Hua as the chosen one’s brother.

How smart.

It seed the universe had a way of revealing things at just the right mont.

Hua hung up the phone, his hand trembling slightly as he stared at the screen.

He turned back to Su Jiyai, still clearly shaken.

“I…

I can’t deliver the letter anymore,” he said, handing it back to Su Jiyai with an apologetic look.

“I thought it was for my sister, the one I grew up with.

But now…

I don’t know.

Everything’s changed.

My real sister just ca back into my life, and I need to go et her.

I’m sorry.” It wasn’t a new thing for him.

Hua thought the letter was a love letter.

Su Jiyai chuckled softly, taking the letter from him.

“You misunderstood,” she said, her voice gentle but firm.
