Inside the shelter.

After reading the skill book.

Lin Yi began to review the energy core report.

From the Battle of Brussels, they obtained 2,370 Second Level energy cores and 241 Third Level energy cores.

Now the warehouse has 4,529 Second Level energy cores and 323 Third Level energy cores.

Only energy cores dropped by zombies count, as mutated animals almost never drop energy cores.

Satisfied, Lin Yi returned to the battlefield.

But it would take another hour to collect all the loot, so he returned to the treasury with Piero.

Piero was wrapped in a towel, having been relaxing at the rehabilitation center, about to et a catwoman...

The mont he had dread of was finally about to co true!

A beautiful alien with cat ears and a cat tail was waiting for him...

Then Lin Yi summoned him over!

"Ah?! Boss? Boss! Why did you... What? Wow! Is this for ? Are you sure? Really?"

As soon as Piero appeared, Lin Yi handed him the Fla Magic Master skill book and stood there to watch his reaction.

Lin Yi barely held back his laughter.

"Boss! Is it really for ? Thank you so much, I won’t let you down!" Piero shouted.

The skill book turned to ashes and disappeared.

His Fla Magic power increased by 100%!

It also worked on magma!

"Alright, go relax. I want the others to be happy too."

Before Piero could say another word, Lin Yi sent him back to where he ca from.

After Piero left, Solomon appeared in the room.

Lin Yi gave him the brand-new dagger and a bottle of Evolution Potion.

Of course, he kept a bottle for himself too.

Lin Yi planned to give the Master Doctor skill book to Professor Mark once he finished making the Stat Reset Potion.

He was still considering the Grand Mage skill...

Just as he was about to teleport to Earth, a series of ssages hit him.

[Warning!]

The Heart of the World fusion is complete.

Earth and the Tilian Planet are now connected.

The resource absorption rate for both planets has decreased.

The evolution speed of the infected has decreased.

The number of invasion points has reduced.

Intruders will now be penalized, while defenders will gain rewards.

[Note: You can now travel between Earth and the Tilian Planet!]

"Finally, it’s done."

Lin Yi teleported in front of the laptop, which had been unusable during the fusion process. Now he prepared a new vending machine.

As agreed, it would sell biofuel for twenty coins, corn-based fuel for ten coins, and water for five coins.

After dealing with the laptop, he decided to go ho for so rest.

Lying on the soft bed, he took a nap, and the door was knocked by Solomon.

The loot had finally been collected.

"How are the gains? The stuff dropped by red zombies is more than that of the regular zombies, right?"

"We made a killing! We got nearly three and a half million coins, 13,600 white rewards, and 500 green rewards.

We haven’t finished counting all the bodies, but since red zombies always drop coins, I estimate we gathered about seventy thousand corpses."

"So, they not only provide a ton of experience points, but also drop loads of coins and rewards! We made more money killing red zombies than from trading!

In one day, we made three and a half million damn coins! And think about all the stuff we can get from these rewards... They may all be First Level, but..."

After talking with Solomon, Lin Yi laced up his combat boots, finally fully dressed.

He didn’t want to equip the Fourth Level armor, and it was too late to go to Lille now.

"Tomorrow we have a whole day, we’re leaving the Tilian Planet to search for fragnts. Talk with Hubert to develop a ’defend and purge’ plan."

"Okay, boss! But I think dealing with a Third Level enemy... is no problem for us!"

"By the way, who ca up with the idea for the Beastman Shield? That’s a really good idea."

"Dante, the axe was also his idea."

"Oh, I see..."

After teleporting to Earth, Solomon quickly began evacuating everyone and everything.

The first things dismantled were the walls and obstacles like anti-tank hedgehogs, followed by a considerable number of sniper towers, and the remaining ammunition and supplies, including cans of burning agent, arrows, bullets, water, and fuel.

With everything dealt with, only a piece of blood-soaked, plowed land remained...

Back at the shelter, Lin Yi hosted a feast for everyone who participated in the battle.

Soldiers, assemblers, even engineers, everyone was invited.

Lin Yi hadn’t had lunch and was starving.

He allowed everyone to drink to their heart’s content.

The brewery had been operational for so ti and was producing at full capacity, so the shelter had a large stock of beer.

They decided to celebrate in the yet unfinished industrial district, because it was spacious enough and far away from the residential area to not disturb anyone.

The largest group at the celebration was the Children of the Sun; they may not have fought, but they helped collect the loot, which was important.

However, they were really dawdling when collecting the loot...

The chefs were tirelessly busy providing food for this large crowd.

Humans, Faru people, Hilania people, Taru, Children of the Sun, everyone gathered to enjoy the feast.

The atmosphere was very lively, and when Lin Yi ntioned "cultural exchange," things got even more animated.

To everyone’s surprise, the Children of the Sun were the first to get drunk, completely unable to handle their liquor.

Both n and won got thoroughly intoxicated and ended up passed out on the ground.

The Taru were pretty much drinking relentlessly.

They were young and strong, and the recent battle had their blood pumping, enough to keep them partying until dawn.

Lin Yi suggested organizing competitions, fighting tournants, and other events for the Beastn.

Chen Youyou quickly found a talented event planner to set it all up.

This 29-year-old Belarusian claid that hosting such a party was a piece of cake for him.

The Hilania people perford so native dances, but they needed female partners to accompany them, so their wives and daughters were also invited to the party.

They staged a wild performance, singing around the bonfire, dancing madly, and even engaging in close-range combat to the music.

The Faru people showcased their specialty: dancing in the air, which amazed everyone.

Their performance was spectacular, especially when over twenty Second Level Elves danced in perfect sync.

Right after these Faru Elves finished performing, they received a series of marriage proposals.

"Solomon, what’s up with the Children of the Sun? Why do they all look like Schwarzenegger?"

"Boss, you an their muscles? They’ve been training... very hard. Eating a lot too, so they’ve turned out like this."

He put the Children of the Sun through the most arduous boot camps he could arrange, hoping to weed out as many as possible.

But his plan completely backfired, and instead, more Children of the Sun joined the army...

They were extrely focused, all wanting to beco warriors.

Thanks to the food and water provided by the Shelter, they quickly started bulking up and building muscles.

Solomon kept increasing the difficulty of the training... and in just a week and a half, they transford from pale, scrawny shells into an entire army of muscular soldiers.

And it’s not just the n; the won turned into muscular won too...

"To be honest, they’re a little intimidating, already equipped with weapons and armor, but how do we get enough vaccines for everyone?"

"Boss, don’t you rember the new drug you told about?"

"Hey, I completely forgot. But... what if we encounter so Third Level zombies?"

"Those bugs you told about! Those that can grow fruits that, when eaten, provide temporary virus immunity?"

"Looks like I better have a chat with Siri in the morning."

The feast lasted most of the night.

Lin Yi told everyone not to drink themselves into oblivion, as they needed to seize a fragnt the next morning.

But... most of the party attendees didn’t even make it to bed, including those Elves.

One Second Level Faru almost had an encounter with a Beastman, but it couldn’t happen!

Their... body size difference was too significant.

Anyway, Lin Yi was certain that there were plenty of drunken antics that night, especially among the Children of the Sun.

...

Morning.

Lin Yi woke up slightly later than usual and nearly missed breakfast.

All the won were having breakfast, and all the n were late.

"The boss is here!" Annie shouted.

The won paused their "extrely important" conversation and stared at the bewildered boss.

Lin Yi was dumbfounded, so he poured himself a cup of coffee and grabbed a piece of toast.

"What’s going on with you all?"

"Boss, I heard you turned the recovery center into a won’s institute! And you’re forcing those poor slave girls and soldiers... is that true?"

Annie frowned, full of concern.

Lin Yi was taken aback, not understanding.

"We offered them the choice to switch to other jobs; so switched, and so didn’t, but they can still change jobs if they want to."

"But that’s not fair! What other work can they do?!"

Anne said, "Besides... why do we even need all those... things?"

"My people killed nearly seven hundred thousand red zombies yesterday; they’re fighting almost every day, getting hurt every other day. They risk their lives, and so have sacrificed.

Mages often exhaust themselves ntally and physically by casting too many spells and draining all their Magic Value. If we deprive them of the only bit of joy they have in life, what’s left?

Will it take long for them to break down? Or go insane? Or put themselves in a deadly situation?

You don’t understand warfare at all, nor can you feel the trauma that cos with it.

If we do as you say, in my opinion, it won’t be long before no one is left to guard the Shelter.

Then who will fight? You?"

Lin Yi’s words left the girls speechless.

"That’s why we need that film, so everyone can understand what the soldiers have gone through.

Their contributions will not be forgotten.

Oh, Chen Youyou, is the film ready?"

"It’s done. They’ve made several different versions and even added subtitles in ten different languages, including alien languages."

Chen Youyou replied with a smile.

She and her sister quietly ate their breakfast throughout the ti.

Lin Yi nodded: "Thanks, I can still count on you... unlike so people."

Lin Yi stretched his words, casting a glare at Anne, who had her head lowered.

"Annie... we got a new batch of rewards yesterday, you know where, go there after you eat!"
