Shelter, eastern steel wall.

Lin Yi looked at Solomon.

"How about the drones? Do they have night vision goggles? Or caras, you know what I an!"

"Boss! Yes, they do, and they’re ready for deploynt anyti."

Solomon had already set up a temporary reconnaissance center inside a truck.

It was equipped with workstations with computers and various complex devices.

All the equipnt was secured, and the drone pilots even had their seat belts on.

All this was set up in case they needed to evacuate suddenly, or work while the vehicle was in motion.

But there was no ti to plan out every detail, as the drone pilots still needed to take the drones outside, then run back into the truck to operate them from there.

The small and silent flying machine rose to about thirty ters in the air, heading toward the fragnt...

The entire area between the first and third steel walls was packed with humanoid creatures.

It was difficult to make out clearly through the cara, but they looked a bit like monsters from movies.

With no clothes, those terrifying claws and slightly elongated faces gave a horrific feeling.

After the drone reached the edge of the shelter, its cara spotted a large number of monsters...

There were thousands, maybe even tens of thousands.

All the monsters were gathered at the entrance of the shelter, seemingly waiting for sothing.

"Solomon, tell all the soldiers at the frontline to switch their vaccine bracelets to ones that can resist the third-level virus!"

After seeing that massive group of monsters, Lin Yi finally understood what was happening.

There couldn’t be that many mutants in one place, so these must be evolved zombies!

And for so reason, he had a feeling that they weren’t second-level, but third-level...

"Where’s that useless Da Chuan?!"

"Boss, are you calling ?"

"Of course, I’m calling you! You have a pri opportunity to earn a ton of Experience Points, look at the screen, rember where those monsters are, fly over and roast them all to ash, understand?"

"Understood, boss!"

Da Chuan shouted like a child, thinking how those ordinary zombies couldn’t do anything to him.

But then he realized, if they were ordinary zombies, the boss wouldn’t send him.

Are these really ordinary zombies? Damn! Are they even zombies?

As Da Chuan thought, he started to feel a bit nervous...

"Boss! Look!" At this mont, Solomon pointed at the screen and shouted.

On the screen, the gathering of monsters suddenly turned around and ran in the opposite direction at the fastest speed.

Lin Yi watched this scene and nodded.

"Looks like my plan worked perfectly."

He dragged a piece of the Wandering Island fragnt between both sides, just to stall the enemy’s speed, and see if he could give them a hard hit.

It seems to have taken effect!

~~~~~~
Twenty minutes earlier.
Ark Monarch, Child of the Sun.
Sual VI.
Sitting on his throne, his lackluster yet dignified voice echoed.
"If they don’t surrender, kill half of them imdiately and capture their lord alive."
"As you command, Your Highness!"
Beneath him, a gigantic creature resembling a common beetle was vaguely visible.
From afar, it appeared dark green, like a stagnant swamp covered in algae, but from ti to ti, black flashes swept across its surface, creating an extrely unsettling sensation.
The owner of this gigantic beast evidently didn’t consider it dangerous, as a tent and throne were erected on its scarred and pitted shell.
As this creature stretched its enormous limbs, the tent and throne swayed back and forth.
Child of the Sun Sual had been tracking for several days and finally closed in on this appetizing prey.
As the red curtain was drawn open, revealing the lord’s golden figure,
He languidly reclined on soft embroidered cushions, with his wide sleeves draped over the armrests, adorned with a ticulously crafted gold crown studded with precious gemstones and beads.
The lord’s thick red hair was braided into a large plait, interwoven with strands of pearls that hung down his back, with two small chains hanging in front.
His ginger beard was also braided, fixed with a glistening diamond in so mysterious manner.
The monarch’s face was clean-shaven.
Unlike most of his subjects, Sual possessed flawless white skin, he was one of the few chosen ones capable of deriving nourishnt from real food rather than relying on the sun.
A warrior with milky white translucent skin bowed and left to relay the lord’s orders.
At the feet of the gigantic beetle, a real army was forming up, tens of thousands of warriors dressed in black armor made from insect shells.
They were eager for battle, ready to make their mark on the battlefield.
Beside them stood an even larger army composed of beetles.
They would assist the Sun Warriors in locating and conquering human territory that had been tracked for several days and nights.
The insects were deep brown, resembling ants... but the size of tigers!
Grotesque legs, ghastly antennae, and snapping mandibles combined to form a dizzying and terrifying spectacle.
Twenty minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
With a slight tremor, the fog wall dissipated.
A general riding atop a black beetle the size of a bull shouted, "Attack!"
"In the na of the Sun!"
The warriors shouted in unison as the army advanced.
~~~~~~

Bang!

A gunshot, followed by more than a dozen gunshots.

The monsters roared and began to run faster.

The five-ter-tall walls were easily scaled by the rapidly piling zombie corpses.

But the human soldiers were already prepared.

The first monster that climbed the wall had its head chopped off, marking the start of the battle.

After losing so of their zombie kin, these monsters began to retreat slightly.

But the giant dragon Da Chuan had already flown towards the piece of Wandering Island.

His orders were to lt the enemies!

After reaching a safe distance, the dragon hovered in the air, flapping its massive webbed wings, creating a gale.

Then it inhaled the air into its scorching large lungs and spewed a hellish fire at the unguarded monsters.

From the human soldiers’ perspective, the scene was quite magnificent, as if a helicopter was strafing the enemies with an extraordinarily powerful flathrower.

Dozens of monsters were charred within seconds, and countless others were burned.

[You have killed 57 zombies, gaining 171 experience points...]

The dragon flew higher, starting to circle the battlefield, and thirty seconds later, it opened its mouth again.

When the monsters saw this, they scattered in all directions, trampling over each other in panic.

The giant dragon Da Chuan spewed fire at the moving targets, burning thirty to forty more monsters within just two seconds, harvesting the experience.

Lin Yi watched all this from afar.

He was very disappointed.

He had expected that this dragon could incinerate an entire army with one breath... or at least kill a few hundred, not just dozens...

Of course, Da Chuan’s cowardice also played a part, as this guy didn’t dare get too close to the monster army, so it sprayed from a distance, greatly reducing the power of the flas.

Another bad news was that ordinary weapons were extrely ineffective against these evolved zombies.

Zombies had hard bones and thick skin, and even modern FNSCAR rifles struggled to penetrate their skulls...

But the soldiers, by concentrating firepower and using 19-10 assault rifles, accurately shot so zombies in the eyes and open mouths, successfully taking so down.

What greatly disappointed Lin Yi was that the black soldiers from the underground shelter did not receive shelter recognition or rewards after killing zombies in the Sea of Space-Ti,

They couldn’t upgrade or receive rewards.

Apparently, after this war, they must take these black soldiers to Earth to gain recognition.

"Ahhh!"

The dragon roared as it hovered in the air after the latest strafing.

Its massive body began to change.

Its bones started expanding, its wings began to lengthen, and within a minute, the dragon had grown to the size of a dium bus, with a wingspan of twenty-five ters.

Besides the increase in body size, the shape of its scales slightly changed, the slant of its wings altered, its tail’s tip beca longer, covered with countless spikes.

After killing over a hundred monsters, Da Chuan gained substantial experience points, leveling up to level 10.

He imdiately used his skill points on the "Dragon" skill, and this transformation was the result.

The dragon spewed fire again, and this ti, many zombies were engulfed by flas.

The enemies had initially adapted to its attacks and calculated its approximate attack range.

But after Da Chuan upgraded, its attack range expanded by one and a half fold, and the heat doubled.

The dragon incinerated 150 zombies in one breath, and the enemies began to flee.

anwhile, these evolved zombies attempted to break through to the fourth steel wall.

They even tried to pile up a large heap of corpses, but those corpses just rged into the soil and disappeared.

"This is the ho field advantage."

Lin Yi grinned widely.

Hubert and Solomon couldn’t help but agree.

In the Wandering Island and the beastn’s ark, when the enemy piled up similar heaps of corpses, they had to retreat because the corpses beca the enemy’s cover.

But now it’s different. In the strategy to kill a large number of enemies in a short period, on the territory of the shelter, all enemy corpses will be absorbed by bottomless pits.

This ans the only thing they have to do is kill the enemies as quickly as possible.

Currently, only infantry have been deployed for this appetizer battle, the archers haven’t participated, and mages are only providing support.

The mages ordered not to let their magic points drop below 90%.

The beastn were on the side, responsible for throwing lots of Killing Cocktails...

No, Killing Cocktails had been redeveloped by Louis and renad—Hellfire Compound Jars.

The power increased not just threefold, their flas could directly burn into the zombies’ bones.

The strength in the beastn’s arms enabled them to throw far and accurately, and for now, no lee engagents were planned for them.

These zombies were very clever, using their injured companions as shields and zigzagging when they saw they couldn’t invade.

After an hour of fighting,

They finally retreated.

[Invasion has been repelled]

The bodies of your fallen enemies are being collected.

You have gained 66,710 units of biological material.

[Gained 20,013 coins and 200 rewards]
