Inside the Shelter.
Lin Yi looked up at the sky, pondering silently, "Are those clouds real or just illusions?"
He knew those "stars" were actually space-ti fragnts filling the Sea of Space-Ti.

"Hahaha! I’ll sleep when I’m dead!" Hubert laughed again, in his forties, still full of energy even so late.
"So, shall we talk?"
"Of course!"
Lin Yi felt a nagging sensation that tonight might not be peaceful.
That was also why he couldn’t sleep.
Thus, the two spent a long ti discussing how to best prepare for the upcoming battle.
By the ti they finally finished planning, it was already 3 AM.
And the enemy’s attack happened just then—
It began!
Hubert stood on the wall, observing through the sniper rifle’s scope, reported.

There was, at least on the surface, an enemy stronger than both humans and Beastn combined, invading them simultaneously!

At this ti, Hubert was getting the soldiers ard and, seeing him return, quickly said.
"Boss, they’re about to charge. What should we do? Engage them at the fence, or attack from the wall?"

He planned to let the Beastn engage in close combat while other soldiers provided cover from the wall.
Currently, Shelter had ample ammunition, so there’s no need to conserve bullets.
If there’s no Zombie General leading the infectors, then the enemies are just handing over Experience Points.
"If the infectors are too smart, too dangerous, we’ll draw them to the wall here."

"He’s testing our new equipnt, getting it ready for battle. He’s mounted the Fire God Machine Gun on a military jeep."
The battle was about to explode!
The infectors surged out from the forest like a landslide, numbering in the thousands!
"Fire! Single shots!" Hubert shouted.
Instantly, gunfire erupted from the wall.
The searchlights brightly illuminated the fence and the area a few yards around it.

But the soldiers wouldn’t let that happen.
