Its destructive power can’t be held back by the vehicle’s defenses, let alone this flimsy protective shield! You refusing to let out is just trying to kill , isn’t it?" Her righteous attitude left the female guard speechless.
The other guards didn’t want to deal with Yiyi initially, but since she laid the situation out so clearly, if they didn’t release her and sothing happened, they might be held accountable! Considering this, the faces of the guards turned grim. One of them said, "This is your decision to co out; if sothing happens, don’t say we caused it!" As he spoke, he turned off the protective shield and released Yiyi from the restraints.
Yiyi quickly stretched her limbs, then grabbed the nearby seat to steady herself, confidently stating her demand, "We’re facing a Mutated Worm, and battle could happen at any mont. By law, you must give so weapons!" Her demand was indeed reasonable, as the law did stipulate that during a Mutant Beast attack, everyone should have a weapon. Either to fight or to take their own life, it’s better than being bitten to death by a Mutant Beast!
So, despite their dissatisfaction with her, they had to give her an Alloy Dagger. The dagger was sharp, but unfortunately, it was useless against an adult Mutated Worm. An adult Mutated Worm’s defense was astonishing; an Alloy Dagger couldn’t even pierce its skin. Holding it in hand was only useful for suicide, nothing more! For Yiyi, it was better than nothing.
