Pang Zhi was quickly found by the subordinates dispatched by Pang De and "escorted" back to the Pang family. These people initially thought they were capturing so vicious character, but they approached Pang Zhi’s coordinates based on the tracking chip like they were facing a formidable enemy, only to be completely dumbfounded upon seeing Pang Zhi!

Although Pang Zhi had always been quite inept and never participated in the Pang family’s operations, those involved in the investigation all had seen his 3D photograph and naturally recognized him at first glance.

However, like Pang De, they worried that he might be soone else impersonating him, so instead of being overjoyed, they cautiously escorted him to Pang De.

In the previous call, Pang De had already confird that this was the real Pang Zhi. As soon as he saw Pang Zhi’s foolish appearance, he was instantly so angry his hands itched. He pretended not to recognize him and forcefully pinched Pang Zhi’s face with his strong hand, leaving several blue fingerprints before reluctantly believing that Pang Zhi wasn’t an impostor.

Nonetheless, although Pang Zhi managed to co back alive, which was a huge surprise to Pang De, he suppressed his joy and had a doctor conduct a full-body examination on Pang Zhi. After confirming that his injuries were not severe, just superficial wounds that would heal with a few days’ rest, and no one had tampered with him, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

He was happy, but Sun Yue was so angry she could almost grind her teeth to dust! Yet, she had to pretend to be a virtuous wife and mother, not letting Pang De notice. Not only did she have to accompany him throughout, but she also had to forcefully suppress her inner hatred to softly comfort Pang Zhi!

Pang Zhi wasn’t comfortable either. To avoid raising suspicion from Pang De and Sun Yue, he returned without even eating dinner and was now starving! By the ti the doctor finished the examination, Pang Zhi was already extrely hungry!

Although Pang De still looked stern, with a "I’m very displeased with you" expression, when he heard Pang Zhi’s stomach constantly growling, he specially instructed the kitchen to prepare food for Pang Zhi.

Things regained after being lost are always especially cherished, and Pang De felt the sa way about Pang Zhi. However, due to Pang Zhi’s deliberate display of incompetence, Pang De couldn’t help but gritting his teeth, wishing Pang Zhi wasn’t his son!

The dinner was very sumptuous. Watching Pang Zhi eat with great gusto, Pang De’s appetite improved as well. Although his face remained cold and he didn’t show any warmth toward Pang Zhi, he noticeably ate more than usual.

Sun Yue, on the other hand, was miserable and had no appetite at all! It was already past al ti, and she felt hungry too, but since Pang Zhi was not dead and nothing happened to him, she was almost furious internally and couldn’t eat anything!

However, Pang Zhi ate incredibly happily. He used to have a big appetite, and now with his superpower awakened, his appetite doubled! Pang De and Sun Yue noticed he ate more than usual but didn’t consider the possibility of "superpower awakening"; instead, they resented him even more.

Pang De’s resentnt stemd from his disappointnt in Pang Zhi for being useless and akin to a pig. Sun Yue was more malicious, believing Pang Zhi was born to bring her trouble!

Pang Zhi sensed the unintentional malice in Sun Yue’s eyes and couldn’t help but sneer internally, wishing he could anger Sun Yue to death! Unfortunately, Sun Yue was more resilient than he imagined, not only surviving but even inquiring about what happened after he lost consciousness, trying to find out who saved him.

Pang Zhi wasn’t foolish enough to reveal the truth to her. Pang Xiao had prepared a narrative for him in advance, making him unafraid of Sun Yue’s questioning! After all, he was unconscious at the ti; what could he possibly know?

Pang Zhi replied to Sun Yue in a bad mood, then retired to his room. Although Pang De was unsatisfied with Pang Zhi’s attitude toward Sun Yue, thinking this son narrowly survived, he couldn’t help but indulge him.

Because of Pang Zhi’s injuries, Pang De specifically granted him five days off to rest properly. Unfortunately, accustod to being a strict father, Pang Zhi didn’t notice the change in his attitude, dismissing it entirely!

After returning to his room, he began updating the dynamics on his personal hopage, detailing today’s thrilling experience. Naturally, he didn’t ntion the awakening, only saying he woke up on the street after fainting. Subsequently, he also noted Pang De granting him five days off to rest at ho, as a way to report the situation to Tang Yiyi.

Tang Yiyi had long guessed he would take a rest, so she wasn’t surprised to see this ssage. Actually, since she agreed to team up with Song Yunxiu, this matter had occupied her mind.

Since being tricked by Liu Pengyi and Liu Zhenlan, she found it hard to trust others, always viewing them with so suspicion. Despite not sensing any malice from Song Yunxiu, she hadn’t fully believed him. Coupled with tomorrow’s trip to the Second Level Hunting Area, which was much more dangerous than the First Level Hunting Area, she dared not take Tang Yuan along.

Fortunately, Pang Xiao arranged two reliable people, giving her peace of mind about leaving Tang Yuan at ho.

The next day, she got up early on purpose. After breakfast with Tang Yuan, the two people arrived. She left Tang Yuan in the safest bedroom, equipped with enough food, and left Milk Tea to accompany him before locking the bedroom door, leaving Pang Xiao’s arranged people in the living room.

This was considered double protection; even if those people seed trustworthy, she didn’t dare let them contact Tang Yuan directly.

Fortunately, nowadays children are invaluable, and most parents are extrely cautious, so her actions weren’t inappropriate or suspicious to those two people.

When she reached the city gate, Song Yunxiu was already waiting. It wasn’t yet the agreed ti, and Tang Yiyi didn’t expect him to arrive so early, feeling sowhat odd. Even stranger, Song Yunxiu hadn’t driven but was standing alone by the wall.

She drove over and slowly stopped beside Song Yunxiu, rolling down the window to tentatively ask, "Why so early? Have you had breakfast?" This was both a probe and a pure courtesy.

To her surprise, Song Yunxiu shook his head straightforwardly and even asked her back, "What did you eat? I’ll go buy it now."

Because it’s the city gate, there are countless superpower users entering and exiting daily, so several small breakfast shops have opened nearby. They all were small, though, and their taste wasn’t sothing to rely on. While others might not mind, soone like Tang Yiyi, who is used to various delicacies, couldn’t stomach it.

On hearing this, she simply smiled, "I already ate and brought you a portion. Do you want it?" This was her real probing! After saying this, she quietly watched Song Yunxiu, waiting for his response.

If Song Yunxiu harbored ill intentions, he certainly wouldn’t trust the food she prepared!

Song Yunxiu glanced at Tang Yiyi with surprise, then decisively opened the passenger door and sat inside. Clearly, he intended to accept Tang Yiyi’s food.

Tang Yiyi was more surprised; this person displayed no suspicion or vigilance! However, she didn’t say anything, silently handing the prepared food box to Song Yunxiu.

Breakfast, which she prepared just this morning, consisted of crab roe soup dumplings paired with shrimp congee and several light and refreshing side dishes, with ample serving sizes. As soon as the box was opened, the rich aroma wafted out. Tang Yiyi noticed that although Song Yunxiu’s expression didn’t change, his eyes lit up! (To be continued.
