When Zhou Yang returned ho with food, everyone else was already there. In addition to Zhao Feng, Li Zheng and Wu Tian, both friends of Zhou Yang, were also present. The four had t at the Superpower Academy and gradually beca friends through frequent interactions. After graduating, they didn’t join any other Hunting Teams; instead, they ford a small team and went hunting outside the city every day. Although their yields weren’t plentiful, they enjoyed much more freedom.

Their Superpower Talent was D Level, considered below average, with very limited growth potential, making them hardly worth cultivating further. No decent Hunting Team would let them join, and even if they joined less prestigious teams, they’d probably end up as cannon fodder!

Zhou Kun had joined a Hunting Team before and endured countless dangerous situations, several tis almost losing his life! Though he managed to survive, he was left with nurous hidden injuries, preventing his superpowers from ever advancing, and even affecting his ability to fight! Having suffered himself, he naturally didn’t want his son to go through the sa. Therefore, when Zhou Yang first awakened his superpowers, Zhou Kun gave him constant warnings.

If it weren’t for Zhou Kun’s persistent warnings, Zhou Yang and his friends might have joined other Hunting Teams long ago and wouldn’t enjoy the freedom they have now. Hunting outside the city every day gave them broader experiences and made them increasingly aware of the dangers of hunting. They grew more grateful to Zhou Kun for his persistent warnings early on. Every ti they visited the Zhou Family, Zhao Feng, Li Zheng, and Wu Tian brought gifts, showing great respect to Zhou Kun and Mrs. Zhou.

Upon returning ho, Zhou Yang heard Zhao Feng and the others chatting passionately with his father, Zhou Kun. Zhou Kun had decades of hunting experience and knew many survival and escape techniques, which were exactly what Zhao Feng and the others were eager to learn. Every weekend, Zhao Feng and his two friends would co to the Zhou Family to seek advice from Zhou Kun about hunting and survival skills.

Being Zhou Yang’s teammates, Zhou Kun, in consideration of Zhou Yang, treated them generously, never holding back on sharing anything he could answer!

As a result, the three beca even more eager to learn from him. When Zhou Yang entered the room, he heard Zhou Kun recounting an escape ordeal from the past. Zhou Yang had heard this story so many tis before that he could recite it from mory, so when he saw Zhou Kun with a flushed face excitedly talking with a wine glass in hand, he couldn’t help but shake his head and laugh: "Dad, how many tis have you told that story? My ears have grown calluses from listening."

Hearing this, Zhao Feng laughed, raising his voice: "Hey! Zhou Xiaoyang, don’t be ungrateful! Uncle Zhou’s storytelling is great, we love listening to it!" Saying this, he wrinkled his nose and eagerly eyed Zhou Yang’s bag of food.

Before Zhao Feng could ask, Wu Tian had already stepped over quickly, snatched the stuffed food bag from Zhou Yang’s hands, and started unwrapping it while asking, "Wow, what is this sll? It’s so appetizing! Zhou Xiaoyang, where’d you buy this? Slls great."

Li Zheng maintained a calm deanor but unconsciously walked over, eyeing the bag Wu Tian was opening while casually asking Zhou Yang: "Did you really buy these dishes from your friend? You’re not fooling us with sothing bought elsewhere, are you?"

Even Zhou Kun couldn’t ignore the wine anymore, putting down his glass and coming over to join the inspection. He gasped, still asking: "Yangzi, did you really buy this from Xiao Tang’s place? Hard to believe that girl, despite her delicate look, has such skill! Sun Jian sure is lucky to find such a talented girl!"

As they talked, Zhou Yang, Zhao Feng, Li Zheng, and Wu Tian swiftly unwrapped the packages. Only the box of braised pork remained untouched as Zhou Yang claid it first! He knew exactly what he had bought, so upon seeing the box untouched, deduced it was the extra dish sent by Tang Yiyi.

Zhou Yang had been curious about the dish himself for so ti, eager to see what’s inside and unwilling to let anyone else open it, so he hurriedly grabbed it.

Zhao Feng and the others were already entirely captivated by the enticing aroma of the dish, hardly noticing Zhou Yang’s move. But once he took hold of it, the trio’s attention quickly shifted, their eyes fixed on the box he held, gleaming with curiosity.

Zhao Feng, the first to speak up, said: "Zhou Xiaoyang, you’re not sharing? We’re all good buddies, don’t be stingy!"

Zhou Yang just wanted to open it personally, but hearing Zhao Feng’s complaint, recalling his earlier disdain, Zhou Yang raised an eyebrow and hesitated to open the box, scolding Zhao Feng: "Zhao Xiaofeng! Can you really talk like that? Who was the one earlier talking down? Who didn’t want to eat?"

Zhao Feng, accustod to their banter, had gained a thick skin over ti. He imdiately feigned innocence and, looking around, indignantly declared: "Who said that? Co on, own up! Can’t you see Zhou Xiaoyang is embarrassed and angry now? How could you say that? That’s too much!"

Wu Tian and Li Zheng simultaneously turned away in disdain, not bothered by Zhao Feng. Zhou Yang also glared briefly at Zhao Feng, then ignored him, focusing on the box in his hands. The box felt hot, constantly reminding him of its presence, releasing a faint, familiar aroma. Zhou Yang instinctively sniffed, fixed on the box.

The others were at first puzzled, not understanding his fixation and possessiveness. Yet seeing Zhou Yang’s serious deanor made them start to take the small box seriously too, secretly guessing its contents.

Without further ado, Zhou Yang quickly lifted the lid. The freshly cooked braised pork was still hot, releasing a burst of steam that spread rapidly. Along with it, the rich aroma belonging to the braised pork unfolded dominantly, swiftly filling the room.

Zhou Yang had slled this aroma previously at the Sun Family, pestering Tang Yiyi to buy so to bring ho and taste. The more Tang Yiyi refused, the more it occupied his mind; on the way back, he resolved to order so the next day! This unexpected delight overwheld him, staring at the deliciously glistening braised pork, he almost drooled excessively!
