Under the daily care and nourishing dicinal als provided by Zhang Xue, Pang Zhi’s injuries gradually healed, and he looked better with each passing day. Ever since he could get out of bed, he impatiently wheeled himself in front of Tang Yuan, afraid that Tang Yuan might forget him after a period of absence.

Tang Yuan was startled by him but didn’t cry. Instead, he stared at Pang Zhi with his big eyes, his little brow furrowed, and his mouth uttering dissatisfied "ya ya" sounds. If he were a bit older and stronger, he might have rushed over to beat Pang Zhi up!

Pang Zhi was dealt a heavy blow by this and spent the entire day in front of the mirror wallowing in self-pity, claiming he must be too ugly and thus disliked. Whenever he saw Tang Yiyi, he would insist on losing weight, only to be smacked on the head by Tang Yiyi, which finally subdued him.

By this ti, there were only seven days left until Pang Zhi’s birthday. He spent each day looking at the calendar and counting the days, eager to see Pang Xiao. Yet, when video chatting with Pang Xiao, he acted all haughty with a "I’m fine, you don’t need to co" attitude, making Pang Xiao suspicious if he got into trouble again, prompting him to discreetly contact Tang Yiyi to verify.

Pang Zhi had no clue about this. Tang Yiyi found Pang Xiao’s position as an elder brother challenging, so she spilled the beans about all the foolish things Pang Zhi had done these days, even attaching a secretly recorded video. Whether satisfied with the video or wanting to thank her for taking care of Pang Zhi, Pang Xiao sent her a substantial amount of Credit Points, making Tang Yiyi feel embarrassed.

However, as Pang Zhi’s birthday approached, Tang Yiyi beca anxious again. But her worry wasn’t about his birthday; it was her inability to advance her Superpower.

Since Pang Zhi’s incident, she felt she was still too weak. Watching Pang Xiao with reddened eyes guarding outside the ICU for Pang Zhi, she couldn’t help but think, what would she do if sothing happened to Xiao Tang Yuan?

Then she realized that even the re thought filled her with uncontrollable rage, wishing she could kill anyone who hard or intended to harm Xiao Tang Yuan.

But Tang Yuan was still so small, far more vulnerable than Pang Zhi. If soone indeed had intentions against Tang Yuan, could she really protect him?

Tang Yiyi asked herself this question silently, realizing she was still too weak. She didn’t even dare to imagine if the sa event happened to Tang Yuan, how she could protect him from harm. He was so fragile that even a gentle touch could be fatal.

From that mont, she was desperate to beco stronger!

It happened just when Pang Zhi was severely injured, and she couldn’t afford to be careless with his daily treatnts. Now that Pang Zhi was visibly recovering, even capable of walking daily with assistive devices, Tang Yiyi’s desire to beco stronger surged again.

She suddenly didn’t want to wait any longer.

At that ti, Zhou Yang suddenly reached out to her, wanting to et.

Tang Yiyi instantly arranged the eting at a private room of the Tang Family, while curiosity tugged at her — why did Zhou Yang want to et her? Ever since she moved out from Sun Jian’s place, her contact with Zhou Yang was sparse. However, Zhou Yang occasionally patronized the Tang Family’s business with his friends, so their connection, though minimal, wasn’t entirely severed.

Previously, she was always in the kitchen. Especially after her pregnancy began to show, she never appeared in front of outsiders. Not even the Tang Family’s staff saw her; communication was only via intercom, making it even less likely for Zhou Yang or his friends to see her.

Now, with Zhou Yang suddenly reaching out, Tang Yiyi couldn’t help but question his motives.

Despite her doubts, she decided to et Zhou Yang. After all, Zhou Yang had helped her in the beginning. It was his posts that initially made the Tang Family famous, and when she was wrongly accused, Zhou Yang and his friends frequently supported her online. She rembered these favors and decided as long as his request wasn’t excessive, she would agree!

An hour before the scheduled ti, Zhou Yang had already arrived at the Tang Family and was led to the private room by the staff. Tang Yiyi received the news, checked the ti, watched the surveillance inside the room, and noticed Zhou Yang’s slightly nervous deanor, giving her a slight idea of what was up.

Zhou Yang deliberately ca so early, obviously in a hurry, so even though there was still an hour until the eting ti, Tang Yiyi went to see him. As soon as she entered the room, Zhou Yang stood up nervously, "Yi... Yiyi, why did you co so early? You must be busy, right? Am I... am I interrupting you?"

Tang Yiyi smiled, found a seat, and beckoned him, "I’m not busy with anything. Please sit, are you hungry? Want sothing to eat? It’s my treat."

Zhou Yang blushed instantly, awkwardly saying, "How... how can that be? Doing business isn’t easy for you, let treat you."

Just then, the door of the room opened, and a staff mber ca in with a tray. After setting things down, the staff mber quietly left.

What the staff brought wasn’t food but two cups of tea and a teapot. Tang Yiyi chuckled, "I figured you wouldn’t be able to eat anything now, so I just had the staff bring tea. Hope you don’t mind?"

Zhou Yang instead breathed a sigh of relief. With sothing on his mind, he indeed couldn’t eat anything now. If Tang Yiyi had really had a table full of dishes brought up, he’d be even more uneasy. He gratefully glanced at Tang Yiyi, thanking her for her thoughtfulness. After gulping down a mouthful of hot tea, his restless heart inexplicably cald down.

Tang Yiyi noticed his hesitation and added, "Just say whatever you have to say, this hesitant manner doesn’t seem like the Zhou Yang I know."

Zhou Yang hung his head in sha. After a while, he lifted it to look steadily at Tang Yiyi, clutching his teacup while carefully choosing his words, "Sister Yiyi, I suppose you’ve guessed, I’m here to ask you for a favor. If you find it difficult, you can decline."

He said the last sentence quickly, as if to make up for his own fault.

Tang Yiyi couldn’t help but laugh, "If you want my help, shouldn’t you tell what it’s about first? Whether or not it’s difficult, I need to hear about it to judge."

Zhou Yang was, in fact, so ashad that he wished he could disappear. He had no idea how to approach Tang Yiyi, but hearing her words, he felt utterly too much. After struggling for a while, he finally said, "This is what happened: a big Hunting Team wanted to recruit our small group. That team doesn’t have a good reputation, so we didn’t agree. As a result, they set us up, forcing us to take on a task we aren’t confident about, so we wanted to find so help."

Zhou Yang spoke nervously, watching Tang Yiyi. However, the expression on Tang Yiyi’s face didn’t change, revealing nothing of her feelings, "Oh? What kind of task? Let’s hear it." (To be continued.
