"What, are my words so unbelievable?"

Bai Qingshuang gave a light smile and turned her head.

In terms of figure, she was significantly more endowed than Bai Yuetong, who was rather flat-chested.

At this mont, she was wearing a standard blue uniform of the Tribunal, her thin lips curling up slightly with a smile, her eyes as enchanting as if painted.

In appearance, she was even more delicate than Bai Yuetong and Qi Xinzhu, leaving no room for criticism.

She had her white hair tied into a very youthful ponytail, which added a touch of playfulness.

It was said that Bai Qingshuang’s hair used to be black, and many were surprised when she gave birth to the white-haired Bai Yuetong.

But after Bai Qingshuang left the Luo Family and joined the Tribunal, her hair suddenly turned white like Bai Yuetong’s, as if she had undergone so kind of Awakening.

She was no longer young, but ti seed to have left no trace on her.

Clearly the sa age as Wan Jing, she looked much younger; if placed next to Han Shiyu, they would seem about the sa age.

If Bai Qingshuang stood next to Bai Yuetong, they wouldn’t look like mother and daughter, but more like sisters.

She slowly walked to the windowsill of Wan Jing’s room, her gaze growing distant as she looked at Qi Xinzhu in the center of the Training Ground.

"Wan Jing, this girl is so young and beautiful! Seeing her is like seeing my past self."

Wan Jing stood behind her with a frosty gaze, not listening to Bai Qingshuang’s sentintal words.

At this mont, she was filled with hostility toward Bai Qingshuang!

There was too much history between them, but none of those mories were friendly—at least, that was what Wan Jing believed.

"Bai Qingshuang, what exactly do you want to do?"

"Wan Jing, why do you ask?" Bai Qingshuang responded slowly, seemingly indifferent to Wan Jing’s question.

CLANG!

Wan Jing suddenly drew her longsword, pointing it at Bai Qingshuang.

"I’ve never understood why I beca the leader of the Knight of Justice, or even a Holy Knight. Does the Church really have no other suitable candidates?"

"Yes, the Church really has no other suitable candidates, or rather, I don’t trust the other suitable candidates! Isn’t it good for you to do it? After all, the position of Holy Knight is one of real power, and it’s good to have soone familiar like you in it. What, don’t you like such power?"

Bai Qingshuang still didn’t turn around, seemingly oblivious to Wan Jing’s actions behind her.

Wan Jing’s sword tip had unknowingly reached the spot behind Bai Qingshuang’s heart.

Just one more step, and she could pierce through the woman holding the highest power in the Wasteland Alliance.

But at this mont, Wan Jing stopped.

"Bai Qingshuang, do you know when I started lighting incense for myself?"

"How could I possibly know such a thing? After all, it’s been a long ti since we last t."

"It was the day you made the leader of the Knights Group! I’m constantly worried about what you might do to . Judgnt Chief! Such imnse authority. The chosen one of the Dawn Disc, the hope of the Dawn Church. You have so many titles; why won’t you leave alone, soone who poses no threat to you? Didn’t our grudge end a long ti ago? I’ve left the Tribunal and beco a regular Believer. Isn’t that enough?"

Wan Jing’s sword tip was already pressed against Bai Qingshuang’s back, but Bai Qingshuang seed completely oblivious to Wan Jing’s movents.

She continued to gaze far into the distance at Qi Xinzhu, seemingly srized.

"Such a beautiful girl! I’m looking forward to eting that guy nad Lu Luo more and more."

Wan Jing saw that Bai Qingshuang had no intention of paying her any attention. For a mont, she really wanted to thrust her sword into her.

But she didn’t. She was hesitating, unsure of what would happen if she did.

Would Bai Qingshuang lose control? Kill her on the spot? Or would she be pierced and critically injured, on the brink of death?

Wan Jing felt that Bai Qingshuang, as the Judgnt Chief, couldn’t be so simple in terms of strength.

The Church’s other Holy Knights were already veteran Seventh Tier top experts.

If Bai Qingshuang weren’t strong enough, these people would definitely not submit to her. Her own thoughts seed sowhat naïve.

"Bai Qingshuang, I’ll ask you one more ti: what exactly are you doing? What do you want to do?"

"What do I want to do? I don’t know. I’m also very confused, so I want to find the person who can give answers. As for you, I want you to help with sothing!"

"In your dreams!"

"Is that so?"

As soon as Bai Qingshuang finished speaking, Wan Jing’s vision suddenly started to distort.

Everything around her was twisting, bending.

A colossal figure appeared behind Bai Qingshuang, a giant of light. Wan Jing couldn’t make out the giant’s face.

The only thing she could see were the giant’s pupils.

In its pupils, there was an endless starry sky!

"Is this the starry sky?"

"Yes, this is the starry sky."

Bai Qingshuang answered indifferently. Wan Jing’s eyes began to blur and flicker, then she suddenly ca to her senses.

With unprecedented resolve, Wan Jing thrust her sword into Bai Qingshuang’s chest.

The tip of the sword was aid right at the heart!

"Your Sequence Power has already affected reality! Are you here to judge , Bai Qingshuang!"

By then, Wan Jing’s eyes had regained their determination, and she gripped the longsword tightly.

Everything before her seed untrustworthy; the only thing she could believe in was the weapon in her hand.

Wan Jing’s fingers moved slightly, twisting the blade, which undoubtedly put imnse pressure on Bai Qingshuang’s body.

She stared intently at Bai Qingshuang, already starting to infuse Holy Radiance into the longsword.

Yet Bai Qingshuang still did not resist. She was still smiling, looking at Wan Jing as if at an old friend she hadn’t seen for many years.

"What are you doing, Wan Jing?" Bai Qingshuang suddenly said.

The scene shifted abruptly. Wan Jing woke with a start!

Only then did she realize that her fingers had been gripping the longsword all along, and her body hadn’t moved at all.

But if she hadn’t moved, what was all that just now?

"Why hold the sword? Does standing in front of make you so uneasy? If you want to strike at , then co on!"

Bai Qingshuang’s voice was normal at first, but it soon began to distort again.

Looking at Bai Qingshuang before her, Wan Jing grew more and more panicked, not knowing if she was in reality or an illusion.

She forcibly closed her eyes. When she opened them again, Bai Qingshuang was still in her original place.

Everything seed to have returned to how it was.

"What’s wrong, Wan Jing?"

"Bai Qingshuang... what have you done to ?"

"I haven’t done anything at all," Bai Qingshuang said, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

Wan Jing gripped her longsword, her mind beginning to destabilize.

The vision in her left and right eyes beca asymtrical, like a split screen on a display.

In her left eye, Bai Qingshuang had already approached her, pierced by her sword.

But in her right eye, Bai Qingshuang still stood by the window, watching her with a smile.

"? You?"

Wan Jing dropped the sword, covering her eyes, trying desperately to wake herself up or escape the situation.

But she had clearly underestimated Bai Qingshuang’s abilities, or rather, the influence of the Judgnt Chief’s Sequence Power as it perated reality.

Lu Luo’s Sequence Power could already affect many people.

Not to ntion the Judgnt Chief Bai Qingshuang, whose power was far above Lu Luo’s.

This effect of Sequence Power could no longer be simply described as influence.

It was contamination, a thorough spiritual pollution.

When Wan Jing opened her eyes again, the vision in her left and right eyes had incredibly split once more!

In front of her, Bai Qingshuang was holding Wan Jing’s own sword, pointing it at her forehead.

"Wan Jing, you are guilty!"

Wan Jing trembled all over; it was a shudder of pure terror!

She was terrified of the Bai Qingshuang before her and ultimately knelt.

"Yes, Judgnt Chief, I am guilty."

"Sin and punishnt?"

"Judgnt Chief, I wish to receive your forgiveness."

"I, Bai Qingshuang, the Judge of the Dawn Church, on behalf of the Dawn and the Holy Light, hereby judge and forgive you."

Wan Jing suddenly jolted awake; the incense in her hand had burned halfway.

She herself was still standing in front of her own statue.

Her back was soaked; the feeling of sweat sticking to her clothes was far from pleasant.

Wan Jing turned her head to look at Bai Qingshuang and saw that the Judgnt Chief was still watching Qi Xinzhu in the Training Ground.

She turned back to the incense in her hand and, after frowning slightly, pinched it out with her fingers,

ending this ritual of burning incense for herself as if making a resolute decision.

"Judgnt Chief!"

"Hmm, what’s the matter, Wan Jing?"

Everything that had happened before seed as if it had never occurred.

Looking at Bai Qingshuang’s calm face, Wan Jing couldn’t be sure whether she had just experienced an illusion or had actually been judged.

What the judgnt entailed, she couldn’t be sure either.

Wan Jing looked at Bai Qingshuang with a certain reverence, having already made her internal assessnt.

She was already a top Sixth Tier master, and for the Seventh Tier, she really only lacked that tiny little bit!

Or rather, she already had the qualifications to step into the Seventh Tier but had chosen not to do so.

The likelihood of an expert like her spontaneously hallucinating, especially in a secure place like the Inner Ring Church, was virtually nil.

So, the very fact she was unsure if anything was wrong with her ant that sothing *had* gone wrong.

It was just that the one causing the problem was too powerful, so she couldn’t detect what the problem actually was.

Since she had determined that there was indeed a problem, the only thing left to do was comply.

Compliance isn’t dreadful, and complying with one’s past enemies isn’t an issue either, as long as one can survive, many things are acceptable.

Wan Jing couldn’t be sure of the purpose behind the Judgnt Chief’s visit.

But Wan Jing could be certain of one thing: the Judgnt Chief really liked Qi Xinzhu, which made things easier.

Her best course of action was to navigate the situation by leveraging the Judgnt Chief’s interest in Qi Xinzhu.

As for opposing the will of the Judgnt Chief? How could that be possible? How could anyone have such a foolish thought?

A top mber of the Church at the Sixth Tier was defeated by a re glance from the Judgnt Chief; what was the point in fighting?

"Judgnt Chief, Qi Xinzhu is a very outstanding Believer of Light. Do you need to bring her over?"

Bai Qingshuang nodded slightly, then shook her head.

"Qi Xinzhu is indeed a very excellent prospect, but it’s a pity..."

Wan Jing watched Bai Qingshuang, thinking the "pity" Bai Qingshuang spoke of was related to Qi Xinzhu’s relationship with the Pope.

After all, Qi Xinzhu was the Pope’s direct disciple.

Though the current Pope was no longer able to move, or even speak, their respective roles and the connection between them would never change.

The Awakening of Xinzhu had always been assisted by the Pope; it was a bond and affection that could never be severed.

"Judgnt Chief, you shouldn’t worry too much; after all, the Pope won’t live much longer."

It was only then that Bai Qingshuang turned to look at Wan Jing, smiling and shaking her head.

"The pity I speak of isn’t because of His Holiness, the Pope. Qi Xinzhu is very outstanding, an excellence without bounds. I won’t treat her differently just because she is the Pope’s disciple; these matters are but simple trials. With her current strength, she can naturally handle them well."

Wan Jing was stunned for a mont. If Bai Qingshuang’s "pity" wasn’t because of the Pope, then why?

"Then, what is the ’pity’ you speak of, Judgnt Chief?"

"You should know, shouldn’t you, Wan Jing?"

Wan Jing hesitated slightly before asking uncertainly, "Are you speaking of Lu Luo?"

"Yes, Qi Xinzhu and my daughter have both fallen for the sa man, which is truly a botherso matter. I’m currently not sure whether I should help them along or separate them."

Wan Jing looked at Bai Qingshuang, unsure of the aning behind her sharing these words.

Was she suggesting that Lu Luo should be dealt with? Surely not.

Presently, Lu Luo was a distinguished guest of the Inner Ring Council, and although he was from the Fourth Ring, the Church could not act too excessively.

"I recall that you, Judgnt Chief, once praised Lu Luo."

"Yes, that child Lu Luo is truly a choice of fate; I am looking forward to eting him."

Hearing Bai Qingshuang say this made Wan Jing even more surprised.

Bai Qingshuang did not show any signs of hostility toward Lu Luo; on the contrary, she valued him highly. But if she valued Lu Luo so much, then why would she worry about the matter between Lu Luo and her own daughter? Could it be that soone was actually serious about enforcing the Alliance’s monogamy policy?

Nowadays, there are so many more won than n; if monogamy were strictly enforced, how would the remaining fifty percent of single won manage to live?

Not to ntion anything else, even the Judgnt Chief herself was not in a monogamous relationship with Luo Xuemin.

So the Wasteland Alliance’s monogamy policy was sothing to be heard but not taken seriously.

It was indeed a bit much for Lu Luo to have both Bai Yuetong and Qi Xinzhu.

But if Bai Qingshuang truly favored Lu Luo, him having two won wouldn’t be a problem at all.

"Who would have thought that Lu Luo could gain the favor of the Judgnt Chief. A choice of fate, huh? It’s the first ti I’ve heard the Judgnt Chief speak so highly of a young person! If the Judgnt Chief favors Lu Luo so much, why then speak of it being a pity?"
